I really hate how Instagram now has virtually NO way for users to control what they see. There are almost no ways left to find users that doesn't involve Instagram choosing their content now that they've destroyed hashtags... I found and followed WAY more new accounts back when I could use the "Recent Posts" in hashtags that I like than with what Instagram chooses for me...
Almost all social platforms have algorithms that control everything, mostly due to necessity. I definitely agree that they should have kept the Recent or Top Posts section in hashtags, that was a handy feature - C
Grateful for this analysis you guys! This is so helpful in terms of content planning for 2024. I'll take your advice with the overly curated content. It's my biggest weakness but it's time to leave it behind in 2023 😅
So welcome, Sarah! Super happy to hear that, and we'd love to hear how it all goes for you. Definitely time to ditch the overly curated stuff and post more. Thank you for watching! :) - C
Thank you for the heads-up on outdated Instagram strategies to ditch in 2023! Your insights are crucial for staying ahead in the ever-changing social media landscape. Ready to embrace new tactics and elevate our Instagram game in 2024🔥
I need a tip from someone experienced in SEO targeting languages other than English. Do you focus on a specific language for your target audience, or do you use English for a broader reach?
Hi, while we have no personal experience with languages other than English, I'd suggest to just use the language of your target audience. If, for example, I as an English speaker was served your content in another language, I'd scroll right past it immediately which would negatively impact your reach/engagement, so avoid targeting English speakers for reach if it's not in their language - C
I have a question? What happens if the account is private and therefore unable to send DM or respond any tips plz 🙏 love all this content guys. Will deffo try pro plan. 🎉
i dont know why my story views are just dropped when i had 3000 followers my average story view was 600-700 now i have 4000 followers but my average story view is 400-600 can u tell me any reasons behind it ? ( whenever i post story a day i post 1 or 2 not a bunch )
It could be that people started to slowly engage less and less with your Stories, so the algorithm took that as some people don't want to see your content and then served it to less people. That can happen a bunch, the best solution is to switch up the content and lean into types that convert - C
Hi! We did this video recently that breaks down how to use ManyChat for all online businesses: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vv9Dp2snO84.html - C
While you were talking about manychat and telling visitors to leave a commen to for instance receive a freebie, I was wondering if this would be a good strategy also for a luxury brand. Cause in this case I'm not sure a high level brand who has fewer but extremely valuable customers would necessarily want them to show up in their comments, so other people like competitors could see them and contact them eventually... what's your take on this?
That's a really interesting thought. If that's the case, then perhaps the automation strategy isn't the best fit for that particular brand. In our experience, we've never worked with a client where the Manychat strategy wouldn't be a fit so we haven't come across it in our work, but I can see how it may be an issue. There's a possibility that the people commenting are tire kickers and aren't super serious about buying right away, so perhaps they aren't as much of a risk to have commenting publicly. My thought would be that it'd be up the individual brand to decide whether it would work for them or not, however it'd be a shame to miss out on the great engagement that comes with the comment strategy (not to mention other brands can just check who followers you and steal them regardless). Another idea, there's a way via Manychat to direct people to DM them a keyword in the caption, so there wouldn't be a public comment. Thanks so much for the insightful question! - C
@@Highseasonco Thanks for your reply! The second option you suggested sounds interesting, how would that work? I think having a private conversation in some cases would be best, because although as you said competitors could see your followers, many potential clients might not be following you yet, but when offered something specific they are more likely to comment.
@@ytuser392 My pleasure! We haven't used that specific option so off the top of my head I don't know how to set it up, but my guess is there would be a template directly in Manychat (they tend to have templates for all the main use cases). Sounds like it'd be a decent option for your business - let us know how you go! - C
Great video! I want to give Manychat a try and I created an account. Just curious if the fee is for each channel? When I connect my FB & IG channels, it asks me to upgrade to PRO on both??
Thank you! Great question - I'm not certain but their pricing page suggests that both IG DMs and FB Messenger are included in the Pro plan - manychat.com/pricing. Try it using our free code to see if it works, or if it tries to charge you twice? I'd be curious, and I'd be surprised if it'd double charge you - C
@@Highseasonco that's what I thought too. I started with FB and entered my CC info for the free trial of the pro plan, but when I added my IG channel it asks for a credit card again. The Pro Trial doesn't seem to cover both channels.
Hmmm interesting. OK if that's the case, maybe pick the one you wanted to work with the most and use that for the free trial. This is the first time it's come up so I wasn't aware that it's a per channel thing. At least you can try it on one channel for free to see how it goes - C@@cedarbarkphotography9828
@@cedarbarkphotography9828 Hey! Tiffany here - can you shoot us a DM? Technically when you sign up for ManyChat you already sign up with your FB account (by way of IG) so you should already be able to create the automations across the platforms.
Hi, are you tagging your location (exact store, neighbourhood, city, state/province, country) in every post? Are you using location-based hashtags? Are you following and engaging with almost exclusively local accounts? - C
Hi! You can use the code when you go to checkout. Choose the Pro plan, go to pay and then the code will zero it out so it's free. Let us know how you go - C
Could you please look into something very important to us as it's been a huge issue for many for weeks now. It's all over Reddit too and nobody has any insights. The issue is this An account is doing fine everything is good then for no reason you get a policy violation for "You are no longer eligible for partner monetisation"?? And a strike on the account.... You can't appeal as the button is greyed out and you can't find out what you have done to warrant this 😢 I got it this morning and no idea why or how to fix it. Please help us
i’m not lucky like everyone my live so sad whit barkingson waiting for died so sad to sorry boss and all coworkers i m thinking i need stop contact with every one on facebook l stay made more trouble
ManyChat isn't for RU-vid and there's no other option on this platform; we were specifically talking about Instagram as per the title of the video. Happy Holidays! - C
You can but we wouldn't advise it, the optimal way to use hashtags is to create banks for each of your content categories and use them accordingly - C@@somerapsamplez
