@@FantasyLandFootball Hey geniuses…!!! You do realize teams can have multiple receivers with over 1000 yards. Three teams did it last year with one of them being San Francisco, and Purdy only had around 280 more passing yards than CJ. Vegas has the line for CJ at 4500 yards this season. Which is obtainable because CJ had a horrible offensive line last season (which they improved) and he missed a game. So it’s highly probable that two of those WR’s can go well over 1000 yards with the third reaching the 900 to 1000 range. You do realize that CJ threw for around 4100 yards last season, right…??? So you’re looking at this all wrong. Any time a QB throws for that much yardage…you want a piece of that receiving core, PAUSE. 🤭
Listen, I agree with the notion that Tank, Nico & Diggs all can’t hit… that being said, 2 of them likely will hit big. And that’s what you’re taking the gamble on, that’s why their price tag is high.
6 ft 4, 225 lbs, runs every route and can give u production without being force fed a million targets like diggs in buffalo- he looked like he either lost a step last yr or offense shifted when dorsey was canned- Ill roll with 6 ft 4, 225 lbs, 4.4 speed
@FantasyLandFootball I think he give u 85 catches, but has 1400 yds- he's not gonna give u those 10 to 12 catches games but his big plays will be lots, and he's a red zone guy, size. Hoping his tds increase, since teams won't be able to double anyone
I think if anyone busts, it’ll be Diggs. Nico is the #1 and Dell is gonna be Stroud’s fav deep threat if he’s 100% from his injury. The Bills offense got better when Diggs stopped getting the ball, and that means something to me. Getting someone like Diggs is less about Nico/Dell not being good enough, and more about taking advantage of Stroud’s rookie deal, and making sure that there will be a playmaker on the field at all times. This team will produce massively, and while I think Stroud has the ability to maintain 3 Top-24 WRs, if I had to choose one to not meet ADP expectation, it’s Diggs.
Y’all like the team? Qb is Jaden Daniels, WRs are jjettas and Davonte Adams, RBs are Kyren Williams and Rhemondre Stevenson, TE is Sam LaPorta and flex is tank dell
The bears will be a better offense with caleb and he likes to throw the ball downfield where dj moore operates, creating weekly upside which is good for best ball. Nico has the talent and upside of first round wrs and we’ve seen him do it, he only lacks the weekly floor (also a good best ball play), i’m also in on dell and out on diggs, who should just be the slot guy at this point. James conner was very good last year and the offense only is getting better, sure he was heavily undervalued last year but who’s to say he can’t repeat that in a better offense after arguably only drafting benson for rb depth (as you said, they had none last year). Njoku was dominant last year and has solidified himself as the number 2 pass catcher in an offense that could easily be top 5 in passing volume and he was the TE1 overall from week 8 onward last year and now is entering his prime. CJ stroud is potentially expensive but has proven upside and in a better situation than last year and is great for stacking. I disagree with all these takes ultimately because they all come from a perspective of being scared of players downside when they have proven upside. You don’t win fantasy weeks or seasons with floor, especially in best ball. 10-14 points a week from your top picks might get you 6th place and a ticket out of your league’s punishment, but the winners will have players that can truly move the needle with 20-30 point week upsides
Ehhh the Houston Texans didn’t pay Nico Collins a boat load of money to sit the pine or not get volume. I completely agree all 3 won’t hit. Buffalo knew something we don’t about Diggs. Fortunately for me Nico is my keeper in the 9th round lol. Great stuff good luck all
Second half of the season in Buffalo when James Cook broke out Diggs had 300 less yards, 4 less TDs, and 20 less receptions than the first half. Buffalo saw what many people haven’t. He’s 30 and it might be the beginning of the end for Diggs, especially on a new offense with a new QB and competition with 2 young studs in Nico Collins and Tank Dell, Dalton Schultz, and even Mixon if Stroud wants to throw a check down. I’m not taking anyone on Houston this year except Stroud and maybe Mixon
@@FantasyLandFootballyes the team THINKs he’ll be crucial, he won’t be. There’s a reason Vikings got rid of him and then buffalo got rid of him. Nico will work out cause they trust him
I am all in on tank dell Completely out on nico Collins. The connect that stroud had will tank dell goes back to his college days. They didn’t trade for diggs not to use him so Collins is on the out in my opinion plus he will draw the best Cb so tank dell gets to get covered by the 3 best CB on the other team. Plus where he getting drafted is fair
Stroud didn’t play with Dell in college. Nico Collins is arguably top 5 WR in talent in the NFL, people don’t understand that. Friendship got nothing to do with getting open and how the team will use the players. I love Dell at his ADP, but fading Nico because of him is crazy
I was with you till the Njoku take. Regardless of who’s throwing him the ball he took that step last year, literally carried me at the end of last season and my team was stacked. Plus he’s not a guy you have to spend major draft capital on so he’s a home run hit that you don’t even have to pay up for in my opinion
@@FantasyLandFootball 3 wrs 2 rbs and a flex plus qb and sf My wrs are lamb, hill, aj brown, Pittman, jsn, flowers, Brian Thomas jr Qbs love, Richardson, dak, rodgers, Penix
So is your aversion to Stroud at his ADP based on 4 pt/td and would you consider him at ADP in a 6 pt/td league? I agree with concern about Texans receivers and all 3 can't hit ... but let's say 1 is WR10 and the other 2 are like WR20, WR26, this seems possible? And if so, maybe Stroud could pay off? He did what he did last year with an O-line that was an injury disaster all year.
I love Stroud I love his receivers and I think he will produce But on the flip side no rushing upside and I could wait and get Jared goff and he'll do the exact same thing he has a great receiver a good tight end a dominating offensive line and two good running backs. And he plays 14 games indoors.
My concern is his price. But as far as all 3 of those WRs finishing Top 26, I guess I have to ask you the question: When has it happened in the NFL? If it has happened, how far back to you have to go to find that example. Does that point to how rare it is in the NFL? LMK if that makes sense and thanks for watching :)
@@FantasyLandFootball I get what you're saying about the price of wide receivers you're right it's just not worth the risk of drafting with Target dilution I tend to stay away from that I don't like Seattle wide receivers the Texans wide receivers I prefer to draft wide receivers that they have everything to themselves kind of like Malik Nabers George Pickens Amari Cooper Deonte Johnson
CJ was 23rd in completion % last year. Tua was 6th, he led the NFL in pass yards & he has elite WRs just like Stroud and elite pass catching RBs. Is someone’s completion % really a reason to draft them in the 3rd round?
These players at where they are being sold is too insane not to bet on though. I’ve seen Nico at like the 8 or 9 and I can’t just pick up Curtis Samuel instead of him lol
Let's see... diggs is 30 plus yrs old Nico just got paid.. Diggs was the only cold wr with josh allen.. and diggs with thielen wasn't who he was in Buffalo Diggs is on a 1 yr deal- he will be odd man out. Don't over think it- the bigger, younger, faster, explosive guy will lead- nico
cj is 2nd favorited to lead league in passing only behind mahomes. safe to say his projection will be over 4500 yards… hard to believe nico won’t at least match his last season stats of 1200 yards. texans paid him like a wr1, they’re gonna game plan him as a wr1. i wouldn’t listen to this dude
Some of the worst takes I have seen from a “fantasy football expert”. If you were an expert you would determine which of the 3 Texan receivers is likely to have the best season instead of just avoiding them.
I think people who watch this video with an open mind and hear the rationale that I bring - regardless of if they avoid these players or not - are the type of fantasy players who are open to hearing opinions other than their own. People who own these players already, they will be angry with me regardless of what I say.
Can’t wait to spank everyone with Nico, don’t let this guy persuade you otherwise. Diggs is who he is, I’m taking the younger Nico, sure Diggs will come in and catch some balls, he will come in and steal Noah Browns spot from last year but don’t for one second think Stroud isnt sharing that football with Nico and Dell.
