Need your kind guidance I have created a Leave Request app without powerapp template. I have two tables (screenshot attached). Everything running smoothly, leave apply, email notification for approval, once approved, notify user. Last thing I want, to update LeaveBalance Table (AppliedLeave) field with the value of TotalDays from LeaveApplication table. how to make it after applied balanced leave automatically calculate?

Hi Hung, this part has changed and it is now called PowerApps (V2) trigger, so it is done different. I have a few videos where I have used this new type of trigger also. Hi Sara, you are correct the "trigger" has changed to Power Apps V2. You can now do all of that on the very first step the trigger of the flow. hello Andrew, did I miss the reply to the time off requestor? I saw the request for approver but not the one for the end-requestor....Additionally, the end user can double-click the day and see the original list with all confidential info or simply click the right side panel name of other staff click 'all items' and access the original list..Is there a way to prevent them from doing so??? Hi Roberto, there are some ways to keep others from accessing, but it gets a little tricky. You could use Power Automate to manage the permissions or you could have 2 lists and Power Automate pushes to a confidential list. With this example we wanted others to see other peoples time off. It's not as easy as it used to be Microsoft has made changes to modern lists and made it easier to remove filters. But it is possible just more complex now, and Power Automate would be the main way.
Hi Andrew, great video!! Do you have any recommendations to create a form with the entered data that the user can email or download? After the time off is approved, my team has to send the approved PTO form to HR.
I don't currently have an exact video on this, but you could use the out of the box email screen from power apps to make something similar to an email template. If you wanted to print to PDF instead you could do that too. I also have a video on populating a word doc using metadata. There are a few options for doing this.

Hello Andrew, quick questions. (1)If there are 2 managers for 2 teams, can I get them listed and only of them needs to approve, could you advise? (2) perhaps also advise if alternatively, one of the managers is off the other could approve as his/her proxy?
Hi robert, yes you can create in Power Automate on the Approval action, "Approve/Reject" - First to respond, just assign the approval to both of the managers. For the proxy with Power Automate out of the box you can Reassign an approval. Also Power Automate is coming out with a new approval action, they are giving an update, so we will wait to see exactly what that is. I believe it will have "tiered" multi-level approvals.
Sure you could probably do this entirely in SharePoint, or custom dev using javascript, C#, or some other coding language. There are 3rd party tools that you can purchase that can most likely do this also.
