I left mine after 24 years and three kids. I also believed my life stopped at 16years which is when i met him with , got married at 18 and was together for 24 years. With 3 kids. You have to find your happiness no one will love you like you will. At 42 now my life has just truly begun.

Bad for whom? Where was the bad part? I mean, if she chose to leave, fine. But I heard nothing "bad" about her situation... only that she felt "re-invented" and felt she "sacrificed herself for so long" which last I checked, that's what choosing to be a wife and mother entails. So if she didn't want to make such sacrifices, unfortunately, she wasted the man's time too. Well... in the end, she set herself free from "the sacrifice." She should go on to continue living accordingly as she's doing but don't blame a society or community for wanting to preserve core values of marriage and family. No one forced her or other women to marry.

@@lkofie6670you seem very shallow. If you know her story you will know it’s wasn’t for fame or independence such hard judgment for the woman but not for the man.
@lkofie6670
@lkofie6670 7 дней назад
@staceecoreen6842 ... and where did I say she left her marriage for "fame or independence"? I commented as I did based on this very interview and even included quotes referencing what she herself has said, and per the interview I called out what I heard and did not hear. Now, even if she did leave her marriage for as YOU want to imply I said for "fame and independence," so be it... it's her decision of which I ALSO indicated as such.. she can keep on living her life. I just don't agree with the implications or suggestions that a community or society is "backward" if they would rather preserve marriage and family. No one is forced to marry.

Your channel appeared on my feed! I needed to hear this!!! I can relate to Dela!!! I too have felt that my marriage died a long time ago but stayed on to please family and society yet I was dying inside of me!!! During my marriage I felt that I lost my identity and my passion for life!!! This situation is real for many women and men!!! Most of us stay because it’s a comfort zone and yet no longer a relationship that fulfills us and does not add value to our lives! The final words by Dela were so powerful!!! I have subscribed and will subscribe to Dela as well!!!

There are 2 sides to a coin and so with every story. I have watched nearly every video when they were a couple and they both carried themselves as very affectionate. The ex husband, frankly, genuinely always carried himself as a model man, husband and father. I need to hear his side of the story.

This is not news. The divorce rate of Ghanaians in Western countries is close to 70%. Ghana will test your resilience, and the weak in your heart will fall apart, as we can clearly see here. I remember her very well when they (her and the husband) started their RU-vid channel. Ghana is not a joke place. I wish her the best, but this is not news.

Its interesting that a woman would leave a marriage of 18 years with not just one but 3 kids and claim to sacrifice alot . Selfishness to the max. To the kids ... May you survive with half you.

@lkofie6670
@lkofie6670 9 дней назад
"I've sacrificed myself for a long time..." interesting choice of words for a woman that CHOSE TO MARRY and bare four kids with her husband... what sacrifice? She apparently wanted a family and gained one. How did she figure she couldn't do what she is doing business wise while married? Seems to me social media really has a strong influence on women these days by hyping up the "boss chick" "independent woman" lifestyle. So she breaks the home she built for herself and children for what again? HER OWN HAPPINESS??? How is she speaking for the children? Also, what exactly is the "everything she was going through"? It seems like it was just HER OWN emotions and some sort of mid-life crisis. She's surrounding everything around just her and HER personal needs and suddenly couldn't separate between her personal interests and her role as a wife. That's not her husband's fault. What was stopping her from living her life while having her family? Women can do that too and have done so FOR YEARS. Well... let her keep "living her life."

To all the brotherhood, there's a say, to live long as a man fear women... Only the deep thinkers can understand.. The animals brains 🧠 will never understand... You can buy a women the whole moon 🌙 and the whole earth 🌎, but still won't be enough.... For deep thinkers Only...

Uhhhh... I'm sorry but...the way the I interviewer spewed out her credentials and the fact that she's a single mother of 4 like a badge of honor, why does it seem as though that's something to celebrate? Oh Lord please don't destroy a culture of family-oriented traditions and society by bringing in this "modern day feminist" agenda. If there is NO SOUND REASON for divorce and we all know what that entails and "not being happy" just because you're in a rut is NOT it.
@jennylifestylelounge
@jennylifestylelounge 9 дней назад
Any little achievement is worth celebrating even if it's your freedom to be happy, mind you if I had a man in that position I would equally congratulate him for his good works and impact on his children. This has nothing to do with feminism my dear😊😊😊😊
@lkofie6670
@lkofie6670 9 дней назад
@@jennylifestylelounge I beg to differ... where's the celebration in this? It's not to knock down her accomplishments but maybe I'm also not on the right platform because I'm not one to champion women who leave a marriage "just because" and the reason surrounding that decision was simply surrounding self-absorbed reasons. Did he not sacrifice his time and resources with her as well for the sake of honoring his role as a husband and father? But how would it sound if he did an interview like this saying "Oh I had to think of me first"? Or "Oh I was reinventing myself"? Why marry in the first place then? We're not talking about circumstances where a woman (or man) go into a marriage and it becomes very genuinely toxic where you're talking adultery, exploitation, abuse, neglect and the like... she just left because she merely changed her mind for her new reinvented life (???) ... yes why would I champion women to break up their homes over reasons like this? Then my fellow women begin to wonder why men no longer want to approach them let alone marry them. Hey... so be it for her and others like her whether I agree or not because it's their personal choice and decision so let them keep it for themselves. Thus, I'm just emphasizing that her reasons for choosing to leave her marriage is nothing to hype up or celebrate. We're not talking about someone who managed to escape a torturous marriage and how she found the will to leave so that other women in her situation can find assistance in getting out of similar situations. I think this brings upon negative influences upon a community and frankly communities aren't built by "independent women."

I deeply respect your perspective and appreciate the constructive way you’ve approached this conversation. It's crucial to foster open and respectful dialogues. Addressing the matter at hand, I don't recall allowing Dela to share or delve into the specifics behind her decision to leave after 18 years. Neither of us knows if there were any instances of abuse or the severity of the circumstances involved. Speculating or taking sides without complete information isn’t fair to anyone involved. My intention is never to oversimplify or overlook these experiences. Instead, I aim to celebrate Dela’s accomplishments and the strength she’s demonstrated through her journey. By sharing her story, I hope to inspire others who might be facing their own challenges, showing them that resilience and success are possible, no matter the circumstances.
