Even if it didn't work out 100%, it's legitimately impressive that you were able to do this. If only someone would have known during the E3 demos last year; I imagine that would have blown a few minds!

I'm pretty sure this is the furthest I've ever seen anyone get out of the Plateau, congrats, your videos are awesome!

I saw a video by a professional speed runner a few days back talking about how it isn't possible to leave the Plateau but it is possible to walk around an area around it, now that I've seen footage of walking around the outside of the Plateau I am finding it easier to visualise what he was trying to explain.

Dude! I was literally trying this myself two days ago! I got off with the door same as you and have been trying just about everything I can think off. Once you land at the lake, head straight toward the plateau and there are some small ruins. There is another metal door there and I have been trying to use that to get me to other places but it has not been working at all. . . If only I could get to a shrine to activate a teleport pad. It is kind of hilarious though just watching link randomly have a heart attack for no apparent reason. So I was heading in the direction of that stable, and I actually saw Beedle heading my direction. Because I knew the invisible wall of death was near, I waited for Beedle to come to me. I was able to talk to him and buy/sell as normal. Then Beedle started walking back toward the stable. So I started following him toward the stable. But then I soon realized that Beedle sold me a highly poisonous bug, and I was dead in just a few seconds, just to watch Beedle keep on walking as if nothing happened. Lol seriously though, someone will eventually find a way out to the delight of speed runners. Strange enough, whenever I started climbing the tall hills north of the plateau, Link would eventually zone out as normal if I started climbing too high. But instead of spawning me back at the Shrine of Resurrection, it re-spawned me at the base of the hill I was climbing outside the Plateau. Strange. . . Anyway, I know I am rambling, but nice video! :)

Man, it was great. But still... I don't like skipping things... I spent A LOT of time at Great Plateau just thinking how harsh the world below woud be...

Before this video I was watching one about how you can't leave the plateau early, then I see this video right in my feed. You didn't disappoint! Can't wait to try this!

You dont take fall damage when you land on a horse, so you could jump directly on one from the stasis-jump.You can escape the final fight barrier by dismounting your horse(look up for more info) so you might be able to do the same here and escape the barrier! Good work!

good freaking job getting that far. after seeing someone make mention of the possibility (of what you did) a week ago, i got to wondering "would that work? i guess it depends how far the Zone Out Area is". as for the that, the Zone Out Area seems to be akin to an invisible dome of sorts, but falling INTO it seems to be only just above the fog layer.

LOL i couldn't imagine playing the game without the glider though :P

If you switch and throw your weapon right before you hit the ground, you don't take fall damage. Also, I watched this video that said the Great Plateau is boxed in, so even if you can get off it early, you'll void out if you leave its box. This seems to prove it true. Regardless, it's still really cool! I didn't think everything would be loaded in

I'm still waiting for the patch that will extend the fog out farther so there will be no way to propel yourself over it in the first place.

Fun fact: you can also do this using a Bullet Time Bounce at the Temple of Time. It’s less predictable and less consistent, but yo can still do it and survive by doing the glitch where you throw a weapon and immediately change weapons just before you hit the ground.

I tried doing it a few times, one time I failed, i got brought back to the shrine of ressurection. The weird part was: Link suddenly fell through the world. You don't enter a killzone then though. You just land in some water under the map.

they need to patch that dead zone out. People should open world how they want. Even the shrines can be avoided. You can go off just recipes and elixirs.

they expected this. they knew that some people would be like this and created a giant death bubble unless you have the paraglider. reminds me of miyasaki and the super red invaders in darksouls early copies haha.

so this video actually shows that you can't leave the great Plateau without the paraglider as you will eventually respawn...

Wait you were supposed to give the old man the orbs.... oops I prayed before I talked to the man so he got nothing...... hehe.

The reason you go back to that plave is because the games coded so that if you go into said area around rhe great plateau, you fall and respawn back at the plateau. if you were to fall anywhere else in the game, youd end up right back where you at the plateau started just like before, which is why when you fell off the horse you fell through the floor

very interesting, I was surprised at how much was present.. i assumed that the pre-tower world was sort of not properly loaded, so it was interesting that it just has an obscuring fog layer and even still has enemies.. in fact part of me was like GO FOR THAT LAKE SHRINE YOU CAN HAVE A WARP POINT and I just now realized the shrines aren't activated.

Go to the magnesis shrine and move a metal block to the edge, activate stasis on it, hit it with your sledgehammer twice, get on it and go! For me, there were also a lot of close by horses. It never randomly killed me

A random question that came to mind: Wooden bows and weapons catch fire when you approach the Eldin region. Yet the paraglider doesn't. Uhhhhhhhh
