Hehehe just read Stormy Swann's comment - I'm 81 so I've well and truly missed the bus, but I will never grow up, and I really REALLY need to stop buying and use what I have. Tash, your friend is going to LOVE this bright and vibrant card. I thought it was beautiful but the addition of the stenciling just gave it another lift. I still want your brain, LOL LOL. Thanks as always for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
Another awesome card and I love how you left the flowers white and you did the background in colours instead, And then you added in the Natasha wow factor. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent again
Amazing how much the colors change your impression of the card. The stamp is pretty but when adding those colors it had such a tropical feel, to me anyway. So beautiful!
Hi Natasha. The stencil really made the background. I love the fact that the floral image is left white. The rainbow colours on the Happy Birthday is very well done. Great job overall! Keep bring us these outstanding videos. You rock! 👌😎👏
I agree with you that the stenciled squares really helped the background of the card. I also love that glitter pen and will be investing in it. You have used it many times and it really brings a beautiful accent to your cards. Nice card, thank you.
I cannot believe how much I am learning from you. I can't tell you enough thank you. You have made it so that I am learning so many different techniques. Thank you so much this is a fantastic tutorial
Beautiful card again Natasha and great techniques for me to put into practice. Thank you soooooo much for all your wonderful videos. I watch every one of them. 💚💚💚💚
I love your channel - you reuse items you like. You are creative. I never feel like I need to run out and buy stuff. You teach processes I can use with my own item
I never thought to add the stencil on top of your already colored ink. So cool! I also like that you are using what you have. I started out buying everything that was new and soon realized that I couldn't afford to keep up with the times! LOL! So now, I'm trying to be more careful and only buy things that can be used in many different ways and different projects. Thank you for being real!
I love your card! I've never included an uncolored image on my cards, but after watching your video, I'm convinced that I need to do it. By the way, I think it was a great idea to use the stencil over the colored portion of your card. It was just what it needed. It is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Another WOW factor card, yet so simple in design technique. Fantastic Natasha. Love the idea about using what you have and not going for the "must have" ideas. I realised recently that I have been spending too much on supplies and not using what I already had. I love this channel of yours. It is truly inspirational. Thank you.
I've probably seen this one before but I like going back through your videos. I love the rainbow colours! 🌈 i want to see your envelope tute later as I've made a great card for someone but didn't trim it down enough to fit an envelope. I like going back for all the tips and tricks... there are so many. Thanking you!! 👍👑😁
Natasha I have been trying to find a private way to let you know I think someone posted a "nasty" link on your video for the three wonderful cards as a set (Tim Holtz with flowers and script). Please look for the post that says "June Blair" 0.41 then there are 3 letters a period and the word "today". You are welcome to delete this post if I am wrong. So sorry if someone was nasty. Another crafter I watch had this happen. 😔 I posted it here so it would hopefully be private.
What a great idea to leave the image white! I am in total agreement with you on supplies. Over the years, I had become a collector rather than a crafter. This consumed a lot of storage, so naturally I bought all kinds of containers to organize. More money spent! That's what I love about your channel. It reinforces my current resolve to use what I have and you've proved MANY times that beautiful cards are not dependent upon buying the latest and greatest trends. Thank you so much! Janet 💖👍😊
i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Cruz Otto thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Cruz Otto DAMN IT REALLY WORKED :O I just got access to my instagram account within roughly 30 mins by using the site. Had to pay 15 bucks but for sure worth the money :) Thank you so much, you really help me out!
You reminded me that cards don’t have to be made with the most complicated, exacting techniques that take forever. And that line drawings can be beautiful. I had blended a piece of scrap CS with Oxides to try out the new domed Ranger blending foams, so grabbed it and stamped a poppies stamp on it and a “with gratitude” sentiment, popped it up with foam tape on a base with lots of white space, and voila - a really pretty card in my style that took so little time. (I can take a day to be satisfied!) So thank you ever so much for inspiration that goes beyond cards and techniques, and affects my entire approach. I’m sure I’m not alone. 💐
What a gorgeous and colorful card! I love what you did keeping the image white and adding so much color in all the other places. Beautiful results and the recipient will love it no doubt! That stamp set for HBD is awesome too. Great choice!
Was at a Stampin' Up party YEARS ago. We were learning (& shopping) how to do poinsettias for Christmas cards. It was towards the end of the party and I was getting tired. Instead of coloring them red, I left them white. Everyone loved them even better than the red ones, so much more elegant!
Wow! This one is a show stopper! Love the bright colors and the final addition of the stencil in the background. It really did finish off the card beautifully! Thanks, Natasha. Another great inspiration.
Since I have a couple of other Woodware floral stamps that also work well for fussy cutting, I'll definitely try this technique -- but with the mask in place while I do the stenciling!
