Where ever you go. What ever you do, please keep posting your videos. It brings us a lot of happiness to watch what is going on in your life . We have all enjoyed your music and even learned new skills from you. Hope that continues
Congratulations on your daughter. Having a child is so life altering. It brings so much joy and a deep sense of protectiveness, you also begin to protect yourself more as well because your children need you. Another thing you learn is children are great adapters to life. So with love and guidance you build your family.
Sharing this life with your daughter will leave a lifetime impact on her. I appreciate your short term sacrifice for her safety. That is what real dads do. As a counselor for 30years, I applaud your common sense decision. There are a lot of 'me first' people out there. Always serve your family. That is what brings the greatest joy. A life time of creating family memories awaits you. With a great deal of respect. Jay
Congratulations on your new baby daughter. I hope your wife is doing well. It’s so sad to see you lock up the cabin for who knows how long and watching Norman not wanting to leave. But the next time you come back it will be the family. Your viewers will follow and watch your videos wherever you are. Thank you for taking us along on your journey. Take care.
Congrats on the birth of your daughter. You are on adventure of a life time now. Parenthood is an amazing journey. Hopefully you all can visit the cabin again soon.
Congratulations on the daughter and the new fun involving the family expansion. Enjoy every minute and take more pictures than you thought possible as they grow so fast. Above all be safe and be careful
Congrats on your precious Baby Girl. You will make a wonderful Family. I look forward to many next videos. Be safe, healthy and happy, these are your most important years now. Thank you
Congrats on the next stage of a very exciting life. One of the great things that we love about Alaska is no matter where you are located, the quiet and solitude of the bush country is never far away.
Matt, I have enjoyed your videos, music and country cooking. Your doing the right thing for your family and that is being within driving distance of a Urgent Care Hospital. You can always go back to the cabin. We can’t wait to see your next build on wheels. Your carpentry skills are second to none. Godspeed to you and your family.
A new adventure! There is a time and place for everything. Step confidently into this new stage of life, appreciate each moment, and let your daughter grow up watching the adventurous spirits of her mom and dad. Signed, father of three, musician, and Marriage and Family Therapist 😊
this here is a good one. dogs are the best, the jacking of the sauna was really good, very funny when the posts were falling over. great job and content.
Congratulations on the daughter! Parenthood is great and kids are great at any age. We'll miss the cabin videos, but you can still do some and add others - fishing, camping, hiking, etc.
Many blessings to you and your family. I really like your down to earth style, and will most likely enjoy whatever else you choose to make videos of. All the best in this new adventure for you, your wife and your new child! I have no doubt you all will have a magical summer with the baby!
Hey what lovely news, congratulations on becoming a Dad. I am sure you will both be wonderful parents, and in time your little one will love to spend time at the cabin. What a lovely lifestyle for a child. I look forward to future videos and best wishes for everything

I will add that growing up with cast iron, the best way to clean out any gunk on the bottom, is sand. Rinse that out…put your pan on the wood stove or very low heat to dry out the water. Doesn’t take long. When it cools a bit, you rub the inside of the pan with CRISCO!! Olive oil/veg oil will build up over time and become funky. Use Criso shortening. Not a lot…just a skim, but work it in. It’s perfection. We did our cast iron sinks the same way. We grew up with a lot of cast iron. That’s the proper care!
Playing the banjo to make the frogs sing made me think of The Garden with Frog and Toad written by Arnold Lobel. Might be a good one for your daughter, as it was a favorite with my young boys.
Great video as always!❤. Excited for your tiny cabin on wheels build. I built one on a 5x10 trailer…it’s a great place to hang out or take on an adventure. You’re gonna be a great dad!😊
Congrats! We just found out we are pregnant with our first! She’s had some nausea/morning sickness all week. Hoping it’s shorterm and we can enjoy the process
Here where my wife and me live in the northern part of Norway it’s a little bit over two hours of driving to the closest hospital. So i feel you 😅 In September we also expect our first child 😊 Keep it going 🙌🏽
Just found your site again, then saw that I am subscribed. The great thing about being a senior is that you just keep finding new things. The weird this is that I keep meeting new folks who already know my name! Love your content, videography, and editing. Surprised you don't have a screen door, but suppose the mosquitos are so large and slow that you can slap them away as you go in. I saw a sign when there that they are the state bird.
