On this week's episode of Onboard Lifestyle, we say goodbye to the Sea of Cortez and leave La Paz, anchor one night in Caleta Lobos and Ensenada de los Muertos before making the multi-day passage to Isla Isabela. The 2-1/2 person crew makes the passage look easy as the Captain takes a backseat as the ladies run the show. Isabela has been crowded in the past so come back next week to see if we can squeeze basik in...see you then!

My goodness how time flies. Wasn't it just last week that the ending was read out by this young girl whose bright voice left us happy and waiting for the next video? Now, we have the delightful voice of a young woman with much deeper tones leaving us with a bidding to watch next week. Gosh, where did that little girl go? She's all growd up!

I think- Teal is beginning to embrace this reduced workload thing.. a bit too much imo. Nice job Linh- transitioning from the little shrimp you can't eat- to the chicken & broccoli you can eat. Emma has mastered the Tong Toss it off the deck. 2 tongs- one for the boat duties, the other one for the food. Compass eyes appear over the door divider- just as Linh removes the food. Warmer temps- 60 today, near 90 tomorrow. Back to bathing suit weather pretty much. Safe journey crew of basix. There truly is a Life of Style Onboard.

If the shoulder issue is swelling and inflammation like rotator or bursitis an easy pain reduction is the plant mullein - make a tea and apply topically - swelling goes away so pain drops - you can also drink it to open airways - very safe!

The opening scenes shows Teal, loving father that he is, instructing Emma, who is at the helm, “Emma inhale, Emma exhale, red marker, green marker, left, right,!!!…” At the end of the video I tried packaging up some sympathy to ship to you girls, but it kept escaping the box and hiding under the bed! No amount of coercion would get it to come out! Love you guys.

I hope you get to explore the Isla Isabella, walk up the side of the volcano and see the Blue Footed Boobies' nests. Hope that when you approach the lagoon that the smell of all of the fish carcasses are not too smelly. Be sure to keep a fishing line out. We caught an amazing Mahi Mahi. It was sooo tasty. 👍

Great job ladies on stepping up to pull the slack. Linh, Pro tip. Before getting in that cold water have Emma pour very warm water inside your wetsuit. It will make entering the water sooo much more comfortable and you will be able to stay in longer also before the cold soaks to your bones. I had to repair a family pool once, water temp 46 F degrees, my aunt poured nearly hot water in my suit giving me a very nice thermal barrier from the frigid waters of the pool.

Probably a dumb question but how do the squid wind up on the deck/trampolines? Are they carried up by waves or do they shoot themselves out of the water like flying fish??

Great question! They actually will get startled and as we sail by shoot straight up then land on our decks. We usually gather them and use as bait, but since I am injured, we are taking it easy and throwing them back into the sea.

It's nice to have dry decks and keeps them cleaner that way. Linh is great on getting out every morning to swab the decks dry for the crew.
