I am one of those 'real' fans that actually did grow up within 5 minutes of old Trafford and Mark has more passion and energy for Manchester United than a lot of people I grew up with in that area. A real fan is decided by your passion and your commitment not the area you are from. Mark is a hard-core manchester united fan and I respect him massively!
No, disagree. If you're in the UK fine, there's all sorts of reasons you might support United, location, family, friends. I just don't get the global "fanbase". Football is about rivalry, it's about walking to the ground with your enemy walking towards you, it's about your mates backing you up when you go into a pub full of opposition fans. These followers around the globe (and they are just followers) who have never been to a march, never even been to the country... come on. I like to watch Barcelona, I know all the players I know all the history, but I've never been there, I've never experienced it properly and so I could never call myself a Barca supporter. In what way do I support the team?

I think he's right, he's been honest about everything at United Stand and I really like the way he deals with all the beef and trolls he's had. Non-violent and very appropriate way, of course he retaliates like every other human being does when they get called stuff they're not, like a 'fake' and that other stuff. He's coped with all that in the best way possible and I actually only found out about Mark through his altercation with DT and when I looked at the content Mark produces I warmed to him and his passion towards video games and Football. I'm a Liverpool fan so of course I'm not going to be a fan of Mark's watchalong or the United Stand content in itself but would tune in now and again just for Mark's input because I like his breakdown and analysis on games. He's always been true to himself and about his bias and every supporter deserves their right to an opinion. I didn't really rate Luke Shaw as highly as Mark does because as a LFC fan I don't watch United week in, week out but for me in our clash, he was probably United's man of the match along with maybe Lindelof. Some day he will outgrow the united stand project. Like we all outgrow our first few jobs and projects. I think he'll do that in a respectful manner also. I enjoy the content Mark provides and effort he puts into it. I think growing up in a similiar generation to him makes his content more relatable to me and has made me a fan of his channel. Went from playing one of the very first FIFA's ever made to watching Mark play the latest one which is just incredible when you think about it but also shows my age which is not so great haha.
Mark you probably won’t read this mate, but as you might know lots of people are suffering with their mental health given the current circumstances, and I don’t think you actually realise how much your shows have a positive impact on people. I found the channel around the time Bruno signed, obviously not long before the first lockdown, and you and the rest of the guys at TUS helped me and I’m sure a lot of others through those times, which I am grateful to you for. I really hope you don’t leave the United stand as I really look forward to watching your shows, watch alongs and even you playing Fifa, but at the end of the day it’s up to you.

Mark you are irreplaceable... cant imagine TUS without you mate, if you left i really doubt i would ever watch it again... since 2015 an till even recent you have become a daily part to alot of people around the world, whatever more during these hard times in quarentine you have helped alot of us to stay tuned with your continous hard work daily videos 2-3 an the fan cams. I also can imagine how many have been suffering from mental health such as depression an they so much look forwards to your daily videos. Trust me mate your a huge benefit an not just to Man United fans but other footballing fans. Just take a break here every 3 months go on a vaccation we all need breaks too, aswel as your passion an hobby treat it as a job an youll be more blessed within yourself.... Thankyou Mark.
Imo that's one of the reasons he's hated by other channels. Some RU-vidrs struggle to do 10 minute videos on there own and then there is 25 hour a day goldbridge the GOAT

People frightened of change Mark. Can imagine it's difficult to deal with as it's so often, but I'm not a massive fan of reality TV, so I don't watch it. It doesn't mean I think it should be taken off the air! I, and many others, really enjoy and appreciate TUS community. Don't agree with everything but so what? I don't agree with all my mates down the pub either! Do what makes you happy, a lot of people enjoy it, so keep it up!
People, online, do not have the capability to move on from something they do not like because they know the repercussions wouldn't be more than a few words on a screen. Its like a lot of people only like to stir up hate and that has created so many mental health issues. Inability to move on from things online is the point.
Had a very depressing start to the lock down till football resumed and I got a suggestion from RU-vid..the United stand ..from then it's been a daily routine to follow up with the United stand and that's football spreading so much positivity even during these tough times ..thanks you Mark for being so consistent and joyful with what you've been doing..cannot imagine United stand without you but eventually everyone needs a break and hopefully even if u leave I hope you come back soon ... because United RU-vid without you is "useless absolutely useless"❤️

Mark you can’t leave. I discovered the United Stand during Lockdown and recently tested positive for Covid and watch every video you put out. I started watching TUS I think when LVG was in charge of the team, the summer after Moyes went and Giggs took over for the rest of the season. Total accident of course and RU-vid suggested TUS. Been watching ever since.

fr, i remember waking up in lockdown 1.0 and it being a sunny day in the summer. loading up my xbox and turning the united stand on to hear the new news on sancho. i miss those times so much and just knowing that mark might leave the united stand is heartbreaking

I can see why you feel like that Mark and it makes a lot of sense. From me alone just remember the other side of it and that you help so many of us (me included) get through so much! It’s not just about United it’s much bigger than that. I am an A&E nurse and discovered this channel beginning of 2020 (huge united supporter) listening to your videos in between shifts or on my ride home really helped me during the hardest year of my life (and ongoing). I first watched you on the United stand may 2019 when I was in hospital with a broken ankle. Was in there for 2 weeks and the only thing that kept me happy and positive for those two weeks and the 4 months after rehabilitating was you and the transfers/rumours and still watch all to this day and has kept me happy during this pandemic too so I want to say thank you when you leave and if you do your own show I would definitely subscribe

I have been enjoying your commentary on the United Stand for a couple of years now and would echo what quite a few people have said, that during this lockdown you and the channel have helped lift spirits. You really help bring the fan base together and I think there is a great shared spirit, even if there are disagreements within the community. I would ignore the naysayers, most are probably just jealous that you get to do what they would love to be doing every day. Hope you stay with the United Stand for many years.
I remember when you came so close to leaving all those years ago and I’m so glad our community came together to show you that for every faceless person who criticises you on the internet there are 10 who’s weeks are made better by you being a part of them. Just thinking about all the memories we would have missed out on if you’d have gone all those years ago: the highs and lows of the career modes, all the great United comebacks and all the wonderful (and occasionally drink fuelled) anecdotes and analogies. I can’t imagine the United Stand without you and I hope that once again people can stand up and show you that we love you.
You've changed how I watch and think about football for the better, even changed how I view certain things in life. Mark .I'm a 62 year old united fan of 50 years. Stumbled onto the united stand at the start of lockdown I dont do any social media but I'm hooked never miss a show love the content love the opinions it's what football is about dont understand people personal and vindictive towards other peoples opinion.clubs should never turn a deaf ear to fan opinion it's what keeps club on its toes and successful. Keep the faith keep your sense of humour dont let the morons get you down come on united.
