Loved to see react videos from people outside of America. I never would have found these react videos if it werent for Oliver Anthony. However, I have seen 3-4 reactions to this video before you, all from America or the UK and YOU were THE ONLY ONE to recognize that the quote (the very end) was from the Bible. I am going to guess that you are not Christian yet you recognized a quote from the Christian Bible that the Christian's did not. That shows both your increased level of education and intelligence (than a typical American Christian) but, also the lack of reading (and therefore the lack of understanding) of their own doctrines (yet they cherry pick parts to fill their agendas to preach to some and condemn others with).

You may not have understood some of the nuances of the lyrics (seeing them correctly and not closed captions would help) but, you have great insight on what you could make out and I love seeing women from around the world showing their intelligence and not rely on their beauty. I live in a Britain whose society I do not recognise. It has changed so much for the worse. To be honest, if an Angel came down and asked me whether ai would like to go I think I would have to say “Take me with you”. Things were better in the 60s with the era of “Peace and Love”- not always achieved but we tried. I don't like the fact that he is singing about suicide. His over all message is true but death can't be the answer. There are children out there depending on us finding the right answer. When you looked sad for a moment and said, "I want to go home too" it made me sad to think a young woman with her whole life in front of her would rather reach the end of it. My thoughts are tainted by the suicide of my son and the song he had playing about suicide when he died.

Im only 30 and where i live has gone from generational farms dating to the early 1800s as a child to non stop housing being built and there are no longer any farmers and no open land. Almost a year later and I don't see anyone shouting for change, no one raging against the dying of the light. I had to listen to this song a few times before I realized that to me Oliver saying "I want to go home" means "I dont want to live in this world anymore". Everyone jumped on his wagon of fame to get some easy views and subs while Oliver himself turned down multi-million dollar deals and it makes me sick. We all want it to change but no one will do anything about it. I understand but I still hate everything that society is turning into and I just want to go home. Of fear and love, I do not fear death, but the death of everything I have come to love
