The first article though, It from a site desicated to psycology and explains very well about concept of soul. If you really were an athiest at somepoint then you may know that science doesn't denies or accepts anything just because It can't be seen or felt. There are more criterias to decide If something really exists or not. And soul or consciousness (the way religios people describe It) doesn't exist. You are right when you say that science doesn't have an explaination for consciousness. But science knows that much that its a collective experince that we get because of our senses and brain. Once they are gone or we die our consciousness also dies with us. Once pronounced dead, you are just a lifeless peice of meat and bones. Its my personla theory that people who come back from brink of death always talk about seeing lights and meeting with their dead relatives. The reason behind that, in my opinion, is that we love and miss those relatives and during brink of death we enter a dream like state which seems real to us. Just like an lucid dreaming. But it will eventually happen. Especially when so many Saudi travel and are educated overseas. Culture and religion are so intertwined it is not easy to separate. One scripture supports and confirms another. The whole Bible is evidence with in it self. I will tell you 2 facts first that are world accepted by scholars and archeologists, and then I will give you the scriptures to read very carefully. a) The book of psalms (22) was written hundreds of years before Jesus coming The original psalm (v. 2-22/23) is thought to date from the **pre**-exilic period, that is, before the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem in **587 BC**. BUT it has been discovered after Jesus Christ The scroll was discovered in February of the year **1956**, ten years after the initial discovery of the scrolls. It was purchased by The Palestine Archaeological Museum located in Jerusalem and first unrolled in November 1961. Four fragments of this scroll were later purchased by the same museum. So basically this prophecy was written hundreds of years *BEFORE* Jesus coming, and discovered in caves (Dead sea scrolls) thousands of years *AFTER* The Bible was writtend! These are only 2 passages ( And there is nearly a 1000 detailed prophecies which were fulfilled by Jesus): **Matthew **27:45**-50 King James Version (KJV)** 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, *My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?* 47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.\\\\\\\\\\\" Why did Jesus said \\\\\\\\\\\"my God my God why has thou forsaken me?\\\\\\\\\\\" ? Unless you want to tell me that god plants babies into mothers womb? Then why do people have sex? What's the point of it? What's the point then of having two sexes? Second, not all babies are born perfect. Some of them have serious health problems. And if there is a god that creates these babies that are blind, deaf, without limbs, paralyzed and so on, then to me ,that god can't be good at all.

Muslims who leave the religion fear backlash from their family, friends and community. They risk getting kicked out and abandoned by their family or worse. They risk a lot of threats. I think that having doubts and confronting the beliefs you held as a child is good, because the faith is strengthened in this way. But I want to warn to not feel so confident, saying that you KNOW Islam is false, manmade or whatever. This is the way of extremism, and might lead to a life of hatred towards religious people. I am sure you have done a lot of research, but you sound young. Remember that other people have studied Islam for a much longer time, people with much more insight than you have. Many of these people are muslims. Think for yourself: how can you be sure Islam is false, when people with more insight into Islamic history, philosophy, culture etc, than you have, believe it to be true? Anyway, I am sorry to hear that your family will react negatively towards you leaving the faith. Perhaps you can talk to a family member or your Imam about you having doubts? If you decide to leave Islam and tell your family, remember to respectfully give the reasons why you don't believe.

India could have achieved far more, it could have become more developed and prosperous than China, but unfortunately it is too religious, people are superstitious, excessively religious and waste too much time, energy and resources on worshipping hundreds of gods.
