Hopefully we Israelis and Lebanese people will have peace and we will be able to come to Lebanon for a trip with a car and see your beautiful country. It is pity for every day that there no peace between the people and countries!!!
I can't even tell you how many times I've cried in these videos you have been uploading. Born and raised in Australia in a very Lebanese household. Can't even explain the memories you have bought back of Tripoli in this video! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all!
At 5:53 the guy in the back was telling the coffee guy " this guy travels around the world and tries the food there and now he's traveling in lebanon and trying the food"
I love it how they feed Mark with their own hands . So much respect for those people. People in the Middle East are very loving n kind if you left them alone n not interfere or invade .
After watching the first Lebanon food video I quickly looked a restaurant up in my area in The Woodlands of Texas. I quickly waited till they opened to ask for the foods your mentioned. I mean goodness if I can not travel yet outside the country I sure am happy there are so many different cultures here that share their homeland foods. Thanks Mark, cause i didnt regret it. I LOVED THE FOOD!
My ancestors immigrated from the mountains of Lebanon to north east mexico. This video makes my heart happy and has gave me the motivation to visit to experience the culture❤️
Saludos
I haven’t been to Lebanon but I’m already in love with the Lebanese people! It reminds me of Istanbul. They seem very inviting and super friendly and just very proud of their culture. Hugs from NYC 😍🥰😘
MArk, I´m going nuts with this series on Lebanon, man. I lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 years and all the memories about the food is coming back with force. Got to go to Lebanon, I do. Thanks for this. Keep it up.
This is proof as to why your vlogs are so cool and important. I love to travel, and I know where I like to go. I never would have thought I would want to go to Lebanon. It was never even on my radar. This video showed me how historical and welcoming a country like this could be! It looks amazing! Now I want to go to Lebanon! LOL!
Lebanon is one of the best countries in the world because of ita culture, AMAZING food, unfortunately one of its neighbour loves to give it a bad reputation. You should definitely try, you will love it.
Im from Tripoli myself, and let me just say.... THANK YOU for visiting Tripoli, and what a tour that was! Amazing video Mark, and im not being biased about it ;P. You have a special way of not making ANY situation awkward and it never ceases to amaze me.
It’s really comforting watching Mark not dislike or have any negative comment on anything whether it’s the culture or food, especially being Lebanese’s myself we’ve always gotten backlash and to have someone spreading positivity is a breath of fresh air 💖💖
Finally here it comes the report from Lebanon, one of the most amazing foody destinations. That chicken BBQ with the garlic mayonnaise Levantine style kept my mouth watering a whole night.
this is the first time I saw Lebanese food its good and yummy and people so hospitality. I love you Lebanon here from Philippines. thanks mark for the great video.
THANKKK YOUUU for showing the beauty of lebanon like NO ONE EVER DID!! You covered it all perfectly, Especially the NORTH that is very neglected by its own people too, you gave it the attention that it deserves because lebanon is very rich and a wonderful country with wonderful and kind people from north to south but no one gives the attention to most of its villages and cities! YOU ARE THE BEST!
Mark I have Sumac trees growing wild on my land and in the fall I can gather endless amounts of sumac. Here in the US we take the entire sumac pod and put it in a pitcher of water and let it soak and then strain it and it is like pink lemonaide. Very good and very healthy. Love your video, thanks for showing me another part of the world. God Bless.
Thank you Mark! I love the positive comments you made on different culture food. Lebanon becomes so fine , not only the food, but the warmest people Lebanese!
I knew Lebanon only from media.. this video can open my mind that's your country is very beautiful and rich of culture especially in gastronomic. Hope someday can visit there. Greetings from Indonesia 🇲🇨
Yeah I’m almost 14 and I’ve only been to 6 countries so far (Canada, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey) which one was a layover (Germany)and the other was a 3 day delay (Switzerland) so I’ve purposely been to 3 countries (I live in Canada)
My father is a Commandant on a ship, goes world wide. I have completed my first world tour with him when I was 7 yrs old, and then went to elementary school :) Maika is catching up with me :)
People do come together without prejudice until one egomaniac craves all the attention and finds that if he divides the people, he can then lead one faction of people into war, thus winning tremendous amounts of attention. The world is run by such psychopaths.
Dont know why, but since i first ate lebanese food last year im deff. addicted to it, its pure, uses a great variety of fresh ingredients and is just extremly flavourfull in its simplicity, love it love it love it !!
Mark your enthusiasm brings everyone into the joy of food and you see everything beautiful because you are a beautiful person. What a great food tour with so many gracious friends from Lebanon. ❤ True, the restaurant of happiness and all the smiles of joy. What fun you all are having. P.S. I had a smile on my face the whole time I was watching your video!
I haven't been to Lebanon since 1976 after watching your trip to Lebanon , if god welling I will be there next spring 👍🏼👍🏼, thanks mark for the awesome tour of Lebanon 😀😀
My heart is bleeding. My HomeTown TRABLOS (Tripoly). I haven't been to in Forty years! Everything Mark sampled in this tour, I already know it and grew up eating it. I was " sniffing and licking " the screen just to " retrieve " the feeling " of HOME! Can't wait to go back.
Super ,see how much friendly are the people just remind me on my city Aleppo Greetings from Germany to the people in Tripoli and all people all over the world 🇸🇾 🇱🇧
We have that soap in morocco people use it to clean Dishes clothes I have a sensitive skin so I have used it for personal hygiene since forecer. I buy it here in america from a Lebanese store and it feels the same fragrance and chemical free I love it so soft on the skin too
Thank you, Mark, thank you, the great people of Lebanon. Thank you for the generosity of Lebanon One of the finest episodes thank you Mark❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌺🌺🌺🌺😘😘
I lived in Lebanon for 2yrs and this videos take me back the memory lane... people there are very generous with food, the country is also blessed with fresh food and fruits .zatta bread was my favorite.l love and missed Lebanon
When i lived in London, i used to fine out at lebanese restaurants. Infact, many of my counrtymen do their patties in lebanese restaurant. Also here in Stockholm, lebanese restaurants are very popular🖐🖐🖐
If you don't mind my asking. Were the Lebanese friendly? I heard they're very rude and unfriendly towards non white people.I myself am not white but haven't been there.
Mohammed Rashid ... Lebanese are friendly people generally but they are very tricky and have some ego against non white or even the Arabs themselves. Lebanese think as higher modern life style people and they intend to do really but they have low people as well.
Mark, thank you for sharing your videos and experiences! Especially now that we're not traveling so much, they give us a chance to virtually travel. And as a chef, I appreciate that you can enjoy many different cuisines, even ones that aren't as spicy and as turned up as Thai food. Much respect and appreciation!!
I love Mark and his family thank you for all your videos. I wake up early Sunday and Wednesday mornings looking for them. Please continue the great work you're doing God bless you and everything you do 🙏....
Whenever I don't have appetite I watch your videos and 20 minutes down I will be pausing to serve my food and eat as I watch. You doing great work showing me Tripoli and other parts of the world. The world is full of great people
20:28. That man is almost same as my father same face ,same bald ,same eye glass same beard, same height and body type same skin color and same profession. My father has been passed recently due to heart attack and have watched this man again and again and again.
Mark has a stomach resistant to anything spicy... I believe also that he has a gift to make people feel good about their food, because he knows how to transmit his appreciation of the food he taste and he is very friendly. His openness will get him anywhere with ease...
