The realest shit ever wrote.. Everybody has the same reaction.. it's the same reaction to Vince Carter's honey dip dunk... at first they like wait, that shit was regular.. then they see the replay and are like, "hold up..." Then, they rewind and are like, "nah bro.." Then, when what they saw really sinks in, they lose their shit. Makes me laugh, everytime. 😂😂😂
J Will was exciting to Watch Handles, Passes and scoring buckets .. He one of my favs from back then I was happy to see him win a Chip with that Miami heat Squad
@@truckinndrivin3089 And there were so many others that were better passer than LBJ and that made there teammates better. There were so many like Jordan and Jason that was relentless on both ends of the court and didn’t give up because they were tired or trying to conserve energy or something. They were just superior players and game changers. This was a great video of an extremely talented player. Thank you for doing this.
He’s not underrated at all. He was a highlight film for sure. And a talented passer. But his actual game is propped to be something it wasn’t. He was a role player at best.
@@TheIcemanthomas definitely not a role player even later in his career with the Heat he was a stabilizing PG outplaying GPayton, and with his true PG skills it allowed DWade to move over to the SG spot
Webber said when he first went to practice after joining the Kings, Williams would be in there bouncing the ball off of dude's heads becuz he would just be letting them fly with no warning.....everybody had to learn quick to keep those hands up becuz you never knew when a pass was coming.
Some of if not the most beautiful team basketball ever played in NBA league history. 2nd maybe to only the '86 Celtics IMHO I began watching that Kings team in the '98-99 strike shortened season solely because Webber got traded there and he was my favorite player back then. I had NBA league pass in my 1st apartment I had on Las Vegas' westside and I never missed a single game till the day they traded Web away. Truly remarkable memories from those days and that team never even won a title. The Western conference finals in 2002 against the Lakers was basically the NBA championship to anybody who knew anything about basketball because the Kings would have swept that Nets team just as easily as the Lakers did had they gotten a chance to be there. Man I miss that NBA and can you imagine what they would have done to these clowns nowadays. Oh my goodness...
14:36 is the moment I was waiting for the entire video. The whole time watching I’m thinking “wait til he sees the elbow pass”. Then when it got to it, I was like “oh he ain’t notice yet” 🤣
I called it while I was watching this vid. I said he's gonna go crazy when he sees that elbow pass and sure enough that ended the video 😂😂 J Will was a dope and underrated player. Him, Mike, AI, and Kobe were some of my favorites to watch play. You should react to Allen Iverson's highlights too.
Pistol Pete is the one who originated the behind the back elbow pass. No one had done it again (in a game at least) until JWill aka White Chocolate, did it
You can find a video of Shaq saying that he had the most fun playing with Jason Williams. Shaq said he could get in the paint and throw his arms up in the ball just be in his hand because JWill put it there. His job was to get the ball up the court and into the hands of the shooters. He accepted his supporting role, did it with pride, and made it beautiful. He was really special.
Yup JWill made the elbow pass famous. When that happened everyone was doing that move. You basically place it in your back with your dribbling hand and twist with your body for the elbow to hit in the direction you want. Jus FYI that Sacramento Kings team revolutionized the game and GSW Curry/Kerr offense were based off that free flowing offense. Before then it was an era of 2-3 players touching the ball on offense, they were the first team were basically everyone touches the ball in every possession that is something you today.
Love watching these highlights with you… most of these I watched live growing up, and it’s so awesome to see a new generation dude like yourself appreciating the greatness of the past players… keep em coming bro.
Glad your reacting to this! Yes, Jordan is the goat but he wasn't the only guy to play basketball before Lebron lol. It's cool seeing younger guys actually some homework and learn the games history! So many great players, so many unique personalities and skill sets. White Chocolate was something else!
Sacramento Native here!....and man let me tell you the J.W era was something special! Back in those days you could Catch J.W at the Downtown plaza Shopping at this Store called Getta Clue.
When my man said, “who dat? “ I said “that’s white chocolate.” Was long suffering Dubs fan back then 2000-2003. I luved switching over to Sacramento tv and watching those Kings…Vlade, Webber, Peja, bibby, Christie (underrated), Jason Williams, sooo fun to watch. No team ran and passed and had fun like Sacto Kings, until Dubs 2013-2018🙇🙇🙇🙇🤓✌️😂👑👑👑
That's why it's referred as the golden age of basketball. The players that era had CRAZY creativity and flare! People that say plumbers and janitors are totally oblivious to how great this era of basketball really was. The infamous elbow pass was pulled out of nowhere and shocked EVERYONE, even the guy who caught the pass lol.
Great reaction, watching him live was crazy, blink and you are like wait what happened? Thankfully they had instant replay hah. Keep up the good content man
I was a diehard bulls fan back in the day, but that Sacramento Kings team was so fun to watch. That Kings team and the Tracy McGrady/ Vince Carter Toronto Raptors were 🔥.
The 90s and early 2000s were the best. Every team had a star player that wasnt like anyone else. So many specialist back then. Same today, only they all play similar. This was more diverse.
Lol the pass with the elbow I remember watching that all star game. Man white chocolate was the man. Shaq said loved playing with him because he knew he was going to get the ball.
COACH; "Everybody - head for the paint, keep your hands up at all times and don't take your damn eyes off, Jason. Allright, that's the game plan. Now LETS GO!"
Heh, you said, "Hes played for a lotta teams." Jason Williams was always a crowd favorite and made the highlights, but turned over the ball too much and wasnt a particularly good shooter. He got traded a lot, as teams just wanted a better point guard. Still fun to watch.
JWill and CWebb used to put on a clinic going back and forth with those wrap around the back no look passes that usually ends with CWebb power dunk or Peja dropping threes. The Kings were fun to watch!!! Fun fact: JWill used to send alley-oops to his teammate and NFL legend Randy Moss in college!!!
Back then all five players had roles other than scoring! His role was to pass and get the scorers and big money folks points! So he started having fun and honed his craft... hence the screams of excitement saying "don't fuck this up" I got you the ball, do your part!
Yooo was i the only one wondering why he didn't go crazy when he did the off the elbow pass initially?!? I was like he must didn't see what just happened foreal cuz ain't no way you gon be that calm over that pass! 😂😂
Yo LegaciiTv, you have some of the coolest reaction video reactions....Jason Williams was one of the most entertaining players in the NBA back in the day, especially when he played with Chris Webber->member of Michigan's Fab Five with Jalen Rose, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson, and Juwan Howard.
I got a chance to play a couple pick up games with Jason. He was at one of my friend's apartment. My friend played for Florida football the year Jason transferred. When I first met him he was just a normal dude with a country accent. There was another guy there talking shit about how Jason beat his HS team. Jason didn't say anything and just smiled. I asked the guy if he ever played to lose or was that what he expected from Jason. Jason started giggling. My friend started laughing because i'm an average size Asian dude asking a Florida State lineman. 😂 We went to campus and played on an outside court. Jason did not shoot once and we all had easy layups playing half court. That same year he took the team to their very first win against Kentucky in Rupp arena. He couldn't miss that game.
When I was a kid my teammates called me White Chocolate because I had skills like the urban kids. Coach even called me The Rock. I really miss that swim team.
My GUY...they knew what he was about and still couldn't stop it...of course he had handles and was athletic AF otherwise wouldn't have mattered.gotta have it all
Born and raised in the Bay Area...but been a Trailblazer fan for a long ass time...but I gotta admit...when J. Will was running with the Kings and it was on TV...it was must watch TV cause I wanted seem some ish...and they even show the best one when he crossed GP out his shoes.
LMFAO 😅.. 😅.. 😅.. 😅.. BRUH,YOU HAD ME ROLLIN' LAUGHING AT YOU!😆!..Maaaainnn J Will Ain't No Joke!..And I Was Waiting To See If They Were Going To Show J.Will's "Behind The Back ,Bounce Off The ELBOW Pass" So I Can See Your Reaction. And You Looked At It Over And Over And Then You Left Out!! That Was Hilarious Bruh😆. I Like Your Channel. Im Subscribing Now👍🏿
