The argument about LeBron beating the Pistons after they beat Kobe was so stupid! Kobe beat the same teams LeBron lost to for RINGSSSSS, and IN THE SAME SEASON!
@@legendoftheghost4286 Simply put, Howard straight up outplayed Bron and this was the same dang Cavs team that was top 5 in offense and defense also! I believe this was the year that Kobe and Bron were supposed to meet in the 2009 Finals to see who’s the best too?? Kobe kept his promise and Bron didn’t. Bron couldn’t beat those Celtics until 2011 after he teamed up with a prime D Wade and Bosh 🤦🏾♂️. This was after those same Celtics had went to 3 straight ECFs too. I remember vividly being 15 Bron at this time, was being crowned as the best player in the world by a lot of analysts 🤷🏾♂️.
And that Pistons team wasn't even the same team that won the title. No Ben Wallace, and no Larry Brown. They were literally without one of the greatest rim protectors of that era, yeah no wonder they couldn't stop LeBron LOL. LeBron fans love to ignore context
Remember Nike had the puppet campaign where they were trying to hype Kobe vs LeBron in the finals? Kobe kept his end of the bargain and won it all, LeBron didn't even make it to the finals.
LeBron didn't have any good Players in his first Cavs run so what was tough to make the NBA finals when you have garbage on your team. But when he made the heat he went to the finals every year year along with 2nd Cavs run.so Kobe had 6 shots from when lebron joined heat in summer of 2010 Kobe did not even make playoffs in last few seasons of his career

The crazy part about it is that Kobe's side peace wanted to be the main peace but Kobe said nah. So the girl started making up lies. Which she admitted and they ended up settling. ESPN and the NBA never touched on the Bron PEDs allegations though.
Exactly. And it wasn't no R charge. It was a sexual assault or something like that. And it was ONLY because of DNA evidence. Kobe should of wrapped it up. Dude cheated, got caught, got extorted. Big deal.
WTH do you think an r charge is? It's sexual assault. 😅😅😅 It's a lie to call her a side piece, she was not. Its also a lie to say she admitted it was false. That also didn't happen. The story goes: she worked at a resort where Kobe was at doing recovery and rehab on his knee. He slept with her. He didn't know her, she was a pretty busdown in another town. The girl wasn't used to being treated like an afterthought. Now rather he truly assaulted her or not is unknown, but what is known multiple semen samples were found to include Kobe's. Kobe settled out of court to end the publicity, not because of his guilt or innocent.

@urbaindelva7869 that's my point, lol. Lebron had Dwade and Bosh and only managed to get 2 rings. Kobe would have more (but having him and Dwade on one team doesn't make sense from team composition standpoint, so I used Spurs).
Lebron isn't a great mid range shooter, he isn't a great 3 pt shooter, he isn't a great free throw shooter, he isn't a great post player, he isn't a great defender, and his passing & rebounders are massively overrated, 7 & 7 per game are good but not special, all while consistently turning the ball over more than anyone. He's played in 3 decades and has 4 championships, one of those championships being the most obvious case of NBA interference (2017) and the other in the bubble where superstars admitted they weren't taking it seriously. The other 2 on the most stacked superteam of all time. He has a losing record in the finals. How he ever entered the greatest of all time conversation just shows how far ESPN has fallen. Hall of famers who played with and against these guys, some of the best players of all time, all say the same thing: "It's Mike, then Kobe, then everyone else." So let's stop feeding the trolls.
Lebron is an amazing post player, he’s a better defender than Kobe, averaging 7 and 7 in their has only been done by 6 players ever and lebron has been doing it for 20 years. They try to discredit MJ and Kobe because they are clearly better than him. They even try making KD out to be the villain for doing almost exactly what he did in Miami because he is clearly the better player on the court.
Besides championships, kobe beating more 60+ win teams then lebron puts him ahead in my book. Shaq may have been the finals mvp for the three peat but when shaq left kobe got 2 more without him.
Thanks for posting. I don't want to click on any of that guy's videos and earn him more engagement that he doesn't deserve. We never really got a LeBron v Kobe showdown in the playoffs, LeBron blew his best chance in both 2009 and 2010, and Kobe played on an injured ankle through the two rounds of the playoffs in 2011 and after Phil left, they weren't the same team again. That Dallas series in 2011 where they were swept was the point I believe Phil lost the locker room so it's no surprise he retired from coaching after that series. Then the two Mikes (Brown and D'Antoni) took over. It was also sad that Kobe suffered a major injury in 2012-13 (right before the playoffs), and played less than half of the games over the next three seasons before he retired. That Dwight Howard/Steve Nash experiment didn't work out, and Dwight couldn't cope with playing alongside Kobe. Lakers management dropped the ball during those last Kobe years especially after Dr. Buss died. I wouldn't absolve Kobe for the Lakers' being swept in the second round of the 2012 playoffs, but both Gasol and Bynum (who was an All-Star that year) underperformed against OKC.
@@StackhouseJerry You just said Mikes the 🐐. So we agree, No need to argue. Can you name Scottie’s FMVPs ? Cause Dwade has 1 and would have 2 if Bron didn’t shit himself. We know this. If Mikes teams and coaches were so good, Why’d they never make it past the 2nd round without him ? Do you know how good AD is bro ? D Wade is a top 5 SG (Mike Kobe AI James D Wade) Kyrie ? They literally call him the most skilled player Ever… EVER. But year after year all we hear is “He doesn’t have enough help”. I bet he brings the All Star team to the lakers and he’d say he needs the East all stars too lol it’s a shame cause I wanted to see him be the 🐐 but I won’t just call him that for no reason. I have been telling LeBron fanboy .Phil told Kobe to let Shaq take over because of his ego.Kobe showed he can win rings 💍 without elite talent.lebron never did.And don't say pal is elite.yea he got a h.o.f . thats over because of Kobe
Ironic that this guy dared to mention Kobe getting emotional after losing, but I remember when he lost to the Spurs they interviewed him right after the game with tears in his eyes, and when asked how hard he would work to bounce back he said “I’ll push myself to exhaustion, next season starts for us right now”. No excuses, no complaining, no throwing teammates under the bus, acknowledged that the Spurs played better basketball. He took his loss like a MAN, accepted his own shortcomings and used that as fuel to come back BETTER. That is GREATNESS. Oh and Lebron cries and flops around the floor like a baby and bitches to the refs every night, but i guess Lebron fans would look up to a man child
"He got swept in the finals, but so what, he made it".... smh... these guys are so stupid... we aren't giving out participation trophies... no one cares if he made it there. The only thing that matters is winning... and lebron didn't win. He talk all that shit about MJ and Kobe and jus dismisses lebron gettin swept in the finals. The audacity of this guy is crazy
That guy looks like he sniffs glue. Kobe laid an egg vs Detroit. But LEBRON scored 8 points in a closeout game. He was also the 5th leading scorer between 2 teams. How come that 66 win 2009 Cavs team, the best team in the NBA lost to the 3d seed Magic and Kobe's Lakers beat that same twam 4-1 in the finals? Use that same glue to keep your mouth shut.
There’s no way of proving who’s better, it’s not possible to know Bryant was drafted in 1996 and is a 6’6” SG James was drafted in 2003 and is a 6’8” SF They’re different positions and drafted 7 years apart

@@davis2k1234 that lakers team was one of the worst teams in the league before lebron joined, unlike kobe's lakers who made 4 consecutive finals and was the 2nd seed the year before shaq left. Be real, no one was expecting cavs to make that finals with k love as the 2nd option.

What’s hilarious to me is both of Kobe’s best teammates during his championship runs (Shaq & Pau), are tied for being swept the most amount of times in the playoffs in NBA history. SIX TIMES EACH…

Anyone who says Shaq carried those Lakers obviously never watched the games and just went by the box score and achievements given out. If you watch those games, alot of them Kobe was carrying the load when Shaq was off the floor. Shaq would get into foul trouble early and it was up to Kobe to keep them in the game. If Shaq didn't have Kobe then Shaq would be just as irrelevant as Kobe would have been til he won the 2 on his own. That's exactly why he did it so you clowns wouldn't claim it was only because of Shaq. He won 2 with Pau.
Kobe did everything LeBron couldn't do. LeBron got swept by the Spurs in 2007, Kobe beat that same team the following year to get to the Finals. LeBron couldn't beat Dwight Howard, Kobe packed him up in 5. LeBron couldn't beat Boston "taking my talents to South Beach". Kobe lost to Boston first time around "We need to get tougher" and came back and beat them. What you'll notice when you get into a LeBron vs Kobe/MJ discussion, is LeBron fans will QUICKLY stop making it about facts, and start making it about excuses.
You can think Lebron is better without needing to talk shit about Kobe. I got Lebron ranked higher than Kobe, but there is no need to slander the Mamba.
Lol, Kobe led a mediocre Lakers team to back to back rings in a very stacked western conference. He won out amongst Steve Nashs Suns, Carmelos Nuggets, Tims Spurs, Dirks Mavs, and others. Teams that were above 50+ wins and had multiple hofers still balling on there. Does anyone actually think Lebron would sit there and handle a gauntlet like that with.....Adam Morrison and Luke Walton on his team?
@@wangtang12 You are delusional. Did you see that roster? How many all stars were on that roster? Pau and who else? Despite the Lakers' success, do you understand how stacked the west was? Those teams had multiple, current at the time, all stars, and future hall of famers. That team had mostly role players, a recognized six man in Lamar Odom, and Pau was the only all-star outside Kobe. If that team was anything more than mediocore, then that means the Lakers were up against super teams.
@Blackjack09721 names on a team alone doesn't make a team great. The lakers were viewed as one of the best teams in the NBA. They were not mediocre. That was not an era of superteams.
The argument that championships make a player is so stupid even jordan said rings are a team accolade just cause kobe and jordan have more rings doesnt make them a better player than lebron and lebron played a much deeper competition than both of them lol
i wish people would get over it. Kobe is not better than Lebron. thats regardless of lebron having big 3s etc. Hes simply the better, more impactful player and the ship of he and kobe even being an argument has sailed. That dude in this video is a biased fool but dont get it twisted. Lebron is the better player, he has a clear winning record when facing kobe, he trumps kobe in every statistical category totals and per game wise. Hes just better, get over it. To love kobe is to be objective enough to say that he is not better than lebron simply because he mastered copying MJ. Lebron is better in every way imaginable when it comes to basketball and that is almost obvious at this point in life. Ive watched lebron drag teams in 07 and 18 to the finals. if Kobe did not have Shaq/Phil then Pau/Phil i dont even think Kobe wouldve made an nba finals.
You don’t need to “lie” anything about Kobe. He’s the most overrated superstar in NBA history. Let’s put it this way, IF you’re objective & don’t cherry pick random non sequitur nonsense & you rightly include all: accomplishments, accolades, analytics & empirical data from the regular season & the playoffs Kobe doesn’t even fall inside the Top 10 All-Time. This is NOT my “opinion” this is a demonstrable fact that is supported by ALL THE AVAILABLE evidence. I despise LeGM; but delusional Kobe fans have been lying about his career for years. He’s nowhere close to the Top 3. In fact, Tim Duncan is barely a Top 10 All-Time player & all the evidence says it’s a complete bloodbath between Duncan & Kobe with Duncan objectively destroying him. Kobe’s is clearly one of the greatest players ever, but the evidence indicates he’s overrated. Cue all the meltdown cope from Kobe diehards when they can’t refute the evidence & they resort to non substantive rebuttals/responses like “casual” & “nerd”. 🤦🏼♂️🤣
@@jimmybrooks2000 This is a good question. Just for the record I am a Kobe fan, I think he’s definitely one of the greatest 12 -20 players All-Time. I think you might be able to make the case that he’s as high as Top 12 or as low as Top 18? That said if I’m making a Top 10 list it has to include these players: Jordan LeGM Chamberlain Abdul-Jabbar -- I think the Top 4 are a lock no matter how you look at it. They have it all: titles, MVP, FMVP, analytics, peak stats, longevity stats, accolades/accomplishments, etc. I think it gets a little more blurry with players 6-12, but I think these are solid choices. Keep in mind: if I analyzed more evidence on these specific players they would move up/down depending on what that evidence says: Bird Magic O’Neal Duncan Russell Olajuwon For 11-30 my list would look something like this: Robertson Erving Kobe Durant Curry Barkley Malone Malone Robinson Baylor Jokic Nowitzki West Garnett Giannis Wade Paul Stockton Harden Leonard For the players around 11-30 the order could move up or down, I haven’t fully analyzed every players entire career, but I’ll always tailor my beliefs to what the evidence says. What I do know is when I compared Duncan vs. Kobe, it was a bloodbath in favor of Duncan. I see Duncan as no higher than 7th, no lower than 10th meaning I don’t see a way Kobe could ever be considered “Top 10”.

When he said Kobe cried like a... ( Not gonna say it for respect to Mamba) I could feel my blood boil. Yet I know that's what this person with the orange shirt is doing, that's exactly what he wants. But unlike him I will not disrespect him or Lebron. Because disrespect is precisely what Wade and LeBron did to Dirk and it backfired the most beautiful way possible. Whenever I disrespected someone (whether justified or not) I always got Karma hit me like a truck. It's a lesson learned so I speak from experience, but I've also been on the other side and boy does it feel good when you get good Karma. He's hurting LeBron more than he is helping him by attacking Kobe. 8/24 Mamba out
I know this got nothing to do with it…, but Russel got disregarded because he lost 1-2 finals while Jordan won all 6. And ofc the era wasn’t that big in my opinion
Its not even disrespect to say Lebron better, i think Kobe would even conclude 22 years avg damn near 25 points and a ring with 3 differnt franchises clears.
