This always gives me chills. it was clear he didn't play well, and even more clear that he didn't look as athletic as he did back in South Beach, but none of that mattered to a Clevelander like me lol
@@veracity5977 bruh he never used peds, he was coming off that no carb diet, to lose weight, cuz he was getting cramps, i don't see nothing to do with peds my guy
I’ve been a Cleveland fan my whole life and since like 2004 or 05 whenever that PA announcer got here I always thought it was the best atmosphere in all of sports. I also thought it could just be my bias as a Cleveland sports fan so I’m glad outsiders recognize it too
When people say he's going to leave I just come back to this I was at this, I witnessed him on his knees praying in warm ups, you could just see the emotions on his face. Then he won a title in was in tears. Witnessed an entire city show out for one of the largest parades ever. I don't think he'll leave because of these reasons, there's just to strong of a connection. Plus the Cavs got younger more versatile and have a the Brooklyn pick. There's reasons for him not to leave and I hope he stays but a lot will depend on the finals this year.
@@JD-cg2qb I didn’t consider the Brooklyn pick landing at 8 and the Cavs not trading it for an asset. Doesn’t matter though still love Bron and what he did for the city, and now the Cavs futures looking bright depending on the lottery
@@Ckproduction03 true, but him going to LA was always in the backdrop even in his Miami days so maybe he was going to LA regardless, just like maybe he was going home regardless of what happened in Miami.
I was so happy he got his first two rings and he's always been great but something about this return to Cleveland is my favorite version of LeBron I will never forget this game.
He flushed his body of PED's. Before the season started, the league was testing heavily for PEDs. When he got the clear, he went back to Miami and was big as a tank all over again. LeBron's body here looks like a young LeBron as he slimmed down and lost muscle.
I’m crying can’t believe this guy will retire soon, he was the only reason I came through dark times in my life from 2005 onwards. Watched every single game of his and gives me chills watching his return to Cleveland. Amazes me how you can be a hater of this man, I’m so jealous of you cause you guys will be so happy when he retires but for me the complete opposite
Lebron was smaller and less muscular just 4 months after the Finals. How do you lose muscle in just 4 months? There is only one way... he was off the PEDs for the first few weeks of the season. He went to Miami and came back bigger, faster, stronger, and more explosive.
Its suspicious how different he looks athletically, but there's never any real evidence that something is going on, it's all circumstantial. Wouldn't put it past Lebron tho, he is the king of plausible deniability. Like even with the Lakers, during the in-season tournament he was doing things athletically that he couldn't before the tournament, and that he hasn't been able to do since the tournament. And now after he took a game off agains the Bucks, he's come back looking like his in-season tournament self. He had a left handed dunk attempt against the Nets on 3-31-24 that had him jumping like his 28 year old self in a way that would've had a guy like Alex Caruso "randomly drug tested". And this isn't the first time things like this have happened. Again, it's all circumstantial, but the timing is suspicious for sure.
completely plausible, i was at this very game. my junior year in highschool me and my brother were so excited to see lebron play again after he had left back in 2010. we were in shock how slow footed he looked it almost seemed like a player in there 40s the way he was moving , we were genuinely worried that maybe the age and wear and tear on his body was catching up to him but he was i think only 30 years old at the time so not sure if that was a logical explanation but i do remember somewhere along the season he got his pop back and looked physically bigger aswell. really makes you wonder.

Lebron was not explosive at all when he first got back to cleveland because he lost weight and was off the PEDS. Just look at this game he can barely even jump. Then he took that 2 week break in miami and juiced up and came back explosive again.
Nate Daugherty off jump shots and unexplosive layups, not his usual. Crazy dunks, I thought lebron said he prepares his body every offseason? Did he not prepare the season coming back to his hometown to capture a championship? Then he conveniently spends 2 weeks in Miami and he’s jumping higher then ever before, you bronsexual kill me, mo Williams dropped 50 pts, any nba player can drop a lot of points while not being ultra athletic
Best player??? How? Because of his past? That was the past... just like Grant hill, tmac, Gilbert arenas,THEY ALL FELL OFF. It's clear that lebron is falling off.
I'm glad I am not the only one. people thought I was nuts when I said that he doesn't look like the same player he was in Miami....in MIAMI he was BEASTING....then when he returned to CLE there was a noticeable drop off
Money Jay I’m here because people were saying lebron was struggling in the beginning of that season then went to Miami and magically got stronger and faster
Cavs will not succeed if lebrons playing off the ball. He needs to have the ball on every possession. It'll take time to adjust but they'll be a great team soon enough
Yeah, idk how this is supposed to work... This team would be awesome with just Love and LeBron as an inside/out duo and strong pieces around those 2. Kyrie is a little redundant in the back court with LeBron.
***** yeah kyrie will have to adjust as a shooting guard and play off the ball because lebron cant play off the ball. He gets out of rythm and gets too passive when he isn't the ball carrier. They'll adjust and will be a fun team to watch but it'll take some time
Hamdy Jaber Yeah he can't play off ball. It's like asking Magic or a guy who played PG all his life to play off ball. Weird team man, lot of issues to start.
***** lebron changed the game. He plays his own position and it always takes some time to get used to but its a championship caliber system. Only for a few years though because the team gets too dependent on lebron and get cold. Thats what happened in miami. Its a blessing and a curse but i guess it works
maybe have kyrie come off the bench i mean sacrifices for championships or what? let kyrie come off the bench and score buckets while k love play like bosh did in miami
Me personally I dislike him not "hate" though I don't know the guy but... -tattooed "the chosen 1" on his back thinking he's some kind of savior to a team -calls himself the "King" -promised the Cavs a ring but bounced -flops -bounces to a different team when things get tough for him -that whole not 1, not 2 rings shit thinking it would be easy to get -him and his girl D. Whistle mocking a sick Dirk
I hate lebron because he manipulates the NBA and orchestrates gatherings of the top NBA players to join him so he could get easy rings. SOOO, instead of seeing 40+ games from Lebron, Kyrie, and Love if they were on separate teams... we instead see games like this.
Cavs Fan Naw bruh that's you with those LBJ pics you have lol and I was responding to that one dude, he asked why people hate him and I told him my reasons. Not my fault you got hurt bc I talked bad about your boy haha.
Everybody needs to relax. its the first game of the season. You can also tell he was very nervous. The Cavs are similar to The heat in 2010 when Lebron joined Bosh and Wade they didn't have much chemistry. Their going to struggle first half of the season but they will soon learn to adapt to playing with each other. Their defense is the only weakness they really have. Once this team learns how to play with one another they are going to be scary. I still feel like anything short of a championship this year will be a huge disappointment
Terrible performance, but it was clear he was pretty nervous and uncomfortable being back with the Cavs for the first game that night. The hype for this game, and the start of this season was huge, and I'm still bummed it ended up being a 0-1 start. Hopefully, the home opener this year will have a much better result.
For those cavs fans out there...don be sad becuz i watched the game and the players didnt play defense and were not serious It is only the first game of their season
LeBron James with Cleveland cavaliers 11 season Play off 9 All star 10 All star MVP 3 Scoring title 1 NBA title 1 Final MVP 1 Final app 5 Final record 1-4 Division 6 Miss play off 2 League leader minutes 3
Until the Cavs and most importantly LBJ and Kyrie begin to run their offense thru Love, they'll continue to struggle. Playing Love at the 5 would open the floor up giving LBJ more room to operate. Oh and by the way, trade Waiters, he's a chucker and the ball sticks in his hands. Dream lineup= 1)Kyrie 2)3 and D 3)Miller 4)LBJ 5)Love
King James lol, calm down bro it's the first game of the season! Lebron and his team will get better, but his stats will take a hit this season. The cavs may make it to the conference finals and then lose in 7. Then the next year if everyone is still healthy they'll make it to the finals..then lose again in 6. And hopefully the year after that Lebron won't ask to be traded..
17/5/4 on 5-15 with 8 turnovers all while being cooked by Melo on the other end. Imagine the comments on here if Kobe played a game half as badly as this.
Nigga STFU, lol. You act LeBron gets no hate. He's the most hated athlete of all time. But yeah, he played like complete ass the entire game. Indecisive as hell and had no explosion whatsoever. Looked washed up.
TzFrank Nobody saying shit about it? Really? You know damn well that isn't true. Besides, it's not like Kobe's out there losing to the Knicks of all teams with a stacked supporting cast by his side. Kobe's gone against two good teams with Ed Davis literally being his best support. Lebron even called this one of the biggest events in Cleveland history and came up small as hell, despite all that hype.
The diffrenece is that a night like this is a something that kobe does a lot. LeBron does not play as bad as this on the regular... Lol lets not act like this man doesnt average 28 7 and 7 on 54% shooting
People talking about roids and whatnot. It was a super emotional night and LeBron was too hyped up and was forcing. Dude had 36 the next game. He looks slim because he slimmed down summer 2014 after cramping in finals.
Just can't keep putting a few stars together and try to call yourself a team. You actually need offense from more than 3 players and you actually need defense from more than 1 player. Teams expecting to win championships should build a winning atmosphere not spend large amounts of money and make trades fishing for championships.
one bad game from lebron all his haters are already talking mad crap lol. he looked very passive and awkward this game for some reason. defensively he looked even more off than last year but he's still capable. only 1st game, he will bounce back this dude is top 5 for sure. coming from a kobe fanatic, clippers lakers spurs fan.
LeBron should be touching the ball on every possession.. Some possessions during this game he didn't even touch-pass it to someone. He's needs to be a part of every offensive possession.
This is a great edited video. Literally he did absolutely fucking nothing and u managed to stretch this into a 5 minute video by slowing down replays and showing the same buckets like 3 times each. Wish i coulda seen his 8 turnovers, so many of them i couldnt keep up everytime i turned away from the television
James Lewis how about the great video last night when he dropped 36 on the bulls BIAAAAATCH...NIGGA DONT ACT A ....#BITCH...THATS WHY I GOT NO LOVE FOR A #BITCH ...50 CENT TOO SHORT AND E-40 SAY #BITCH
Did you all ever think that maybe it's the coach's fault that there starting off so bad. His coaching style is not great at all for this team. He leaves number 8 in the game playing a lot of important minutes. He can can't guard no one, but you have all-star shawn marion, mike miller and haywood riding the bench? thinking about it. Before you blame Lebron look at the team all away around. There coach needs to be replaced ASAP!
lmfao at all the lebron haters that are calling him trash after 1 game. This is one of lebrons worst games and that make him instant trash? Lets see who's fans you are by the end of the reg season when he is in prime form lmfao. These people are ready to chime in on his failures because when they know he is in prime form none of them will be talking shit anymore. They will be crying how he joined 2 all stars and how the east is weak and whatever more excuses they can come up with.
