@@Inkjunkygaming24 LBJ team lost because most of his teammates R trash and his HC has the lowest IQ of any HC in the league... But LBJ is still grt8 and is the goat in my opinion😎
🏀There is a kid in our park, we all play real good, sometimes we cant go, our jobs, etc but the kid is always there, he's really not as good as all of us but he is always there ....If we would really check and see who has the most points, indeed it would be him not because hes the best, but because he is the one playing the most games MJ 6-0 🐐 LJ 4-6 🥈
Nice to see Lebron and Kareem play nice. Too important of a moment, aka passing the torch, to harbor any animosity. Congrats to Lebron on a great playing milestone and doing it with grace.
@@thedarkfrost2351 he’s seen as top 3 all time by most analysts. 10+ years ago you’d see Wilt in that convo more than Kareem. But then began the narrative that because he “played against plumbers” his stats shouldn’t be as revered by fans.
Whatever you got someone will someday surpass you. Its a life of turns. Congrats AbdulKareem to Lebron what a moment after 40 years of holding the record.
Can’t take away from him, nobody else put that ball in the hoop more… there’s a lot to say about a player that can continue to play in the NBA for 20 years. That’s a physical testament but also mental, and as I’ve entered my 30s I can’t say how much more you realize long time performers are so mentally strong… even if they sometimes do dumb crap, it doesn’t matter, they kept showing up and never ever quit.. this goes way beyond money too. You could get the hell out with your millions but no, just never ever stopped playing.. and he was killing since his first day in the NBA. Have to appreciate what a thing we are around to see.
No it was more possible with the amount of rule changes.. teams today score more then a 130 points today with to minimal defense which scoring of this magnitude hasn't been seen since the 1950s, the time Kareem played was more impressive because of the rules on defense specially handchecking. If capt played today he would have more then 50k points. Also lebron plays no defense anymore so focusing on offense only helped alot.
The record of Kareem is still unbeatable 3 pointers don't count 2233 3 pointers by lebron over 6000 points That should not be counted Steph curry own the record for 3 pointers. Celebrate lebron and that's for 2 pointers and 3 pointers which is not Kareem's record. Pick a lane
A big congratulations to Lebron. You ain't gotta be a fan to appreciate his greatness. He may not be your goat, but for sportsmanship every fan of basketball should appreciate this man.
MJ Kobe Timmy true 🐐 didn't look for the easy way out, Lacrybby is no GOAT alwys looking for the easy way out building super team to win a championship
I don’t think Kareem really wanted to be there but he kinda sorta had to. Same as when Kareem broke Wilt’s record. Wilt didn’t really want to be there either but he kinda sorta had to. What goes around comes around. Congratulations to LeBron.
@@George2647g even if it's new why not contribute to tradition? Kareem is 1 of the goats it's kinda hard to keep tradition going if our best players can't show up for the 1 game in their entire post-career lives us fans would like to see them attend edit: kareem has multiple records so he has a few more games to do this ritual in
Kareem and LeBron are not the greatest of friends. LeBron was completely classless before the season with his dismissive comments about Kareem. I’m sure there are other guys that Kareem would rather have lost that record to.
Don't be like that. He's got a stiff neck and was just looking around without moving. Seeing the smiles and congratulations when he came on the court says it all.
@@deeniehyatt3137 exactly, i think its more impresive that he broke the record without having more field goals, but its also good to point out that when kareem played, the 3 point shooting wasnt used as much as when LeBron started playing
I was impressed with his ability and play-making but have to be honest, never thought he'd break the record, probably that he'd get close and if any one could do it I expected that player to be Durant. For someone who wasn't so focused on scoring it is a testament to his endurance and love of the game. Congrats, Lebron!
He was the youngest to reach every thousand points so... Why can't people give him the credit of being a scorer? Don't get me wrong, he's my favourite player
Durant could have been a candidate for sure but ever since coming back from his Achilles I just which had him miss about 18 months I believe he has just had a slew of injuries and on top of that he is going to be 35 this year plus he is about 12,000 points behind Lebron.
If Luka can have a 20 season career like dirk and play at least 65-70 games every year he might be able to catch it. Bron has never had a major injury though.
Karim did it more than 40 years ago when the defense was tight!!! Karim is the pioneer!!! It is like inflation 40 years ago 1$ is like $40 now. Both are GOAT!!!
Jabbar and Chamberlain were always my favorites. Then James joined the NBA. I was through watching NBA, by that time, but there's highlights, every morning when you get up. I would say, these 3 guys share the GOAT thingamajig title thingy. James, being outspoken, on the topic of race makes him stand out more than 'CEO Jordan.' You know? I think 40K is the next scoring milestone.
All three players are taller, or in Lebron's case more physically imposing than MJ. Jordan dominated when it was still a big man's game. 6-0 in the finals. He won all his rings with the team that drafted him. He didn't need to leave or play on someone else's team, in order to win a title he stayed the course and took out one of the best defensive, and dirtiest teams in NBA history, the Detroit Pistons. Lebron may share a name, but Jordan has always been the once and future king.
Lebron is great man. I know he's not some peoples' favorite, but I think he is a great role model and carries himself extremely professionally. Honored to have witnessed King James's reign
4 decades of waiting Wow ! It so amazing that Lebron broke Kareem's record ! We witnessed Greatness of Lebron James. And i dont think no one can break that record ever again.
@@ammonquitalig9077 you still arguing about this? There's no official goat when everyone have their own opinion. Not everyone loves Superman LeBron is my goat and I will never make you follow mine
Stop it bro Kareem already knew this the day Lebron became a Laker, that Lebron would pass his All time rec that stood nearly four decades. That Lebron would pass his record as a Laker. Show some respect too the all time great.
@@ebkpostosmokaayt8676 young people are the most obvious people on the planet. Old man Kareem had too come too these games/ be on notice. He could be dealing with health aliments, anything, why bronsexuals gotta always ruin everything. Just be happy for Bron damn! 😆
im so lucky to witness barry bonds broke the homerun record, ichiro suzuki broke the hits record and lebron james broke the scoring road. congrats king james 👏
This documentary and his journey and his play style gne bring u to tears once he’s finished especially if he play with bronny his legacy can’t be replicated watch this
Lebron have a beautiful daughter ❤️ Congrats Bron, I'm not your fan but I'm happy for your achievement become a new all time scoring in the NBA. Appreciate Greatness 🔥
