The commentators were great here; acknowledging the potential threats he could face as a young super star was especially insightful. 20 years later, he has stayed far away from all these troubles, and consistently stayed a great athlete. Consistently stayed a champion. Also, this video proves that a supportive family member helps you go a long, long way. Watching his mom cheering and jumping up and down just made my eyes watery. Regardless of whether you want to talk about Kobe (RIP), Kareem, Magic, etc. the only player who you can argue is better than LeBron James is the best player who has ever laced up shoes. His mother had him at 16 years old. Her mother and grandmother died before she was 19 years old. That's just him and his young mother own their own, trying to survive. Now look at how he's handled himself and what he's become. Took care of his mother and help make his close H.S. friends millionaires, by setting them up in their endeavors. That's a GOAT story in life...SALUTE MY BROTHER!
