Derp -​​ that's the simple answer, bro. Look deeper than that. Steph not having a great series didn't mean anything, because GSW were still in position to win that game 7. That just goes to show you how good of a team they really are. The refs don't control whether or not the balls goes in, they control pace, momentum, tempo. When you get some time, and if you care that much lol. Go look at how the the first 3 games GSW won, were officiated. Very loosely. They allowed Steph and Klay to get held coming off screens, but they also allowed a good amount physical contact to take place down low on both sides. When all of that was happening, Lebron was having the same type of series Steph was. An average 1. Now. Go look at the remaining 3 games the Cavs won, and how they were officiated. Steph and Klay were still getting bumped, held, and grabbed coming off screens (which is good hard nose basketball to me), but on the other end, touch fouls. You REALLY think Tim Donaghy was the only ref in the whole NBA that was cheating? That's like assuming Kobe, and Nick Young, were the only men in the NBA that had side chicks. The Draymond suspension, was suspect because he should have been suspended in the OKC series, but at that time GSW was down, so the league let that go. This time Draymond was provoked, he did flail the arm, but he didn't hit Bron in the man area, unless Bron has balls of steel. Draymond put himself in a sticky spot, and the NBA came down hard because the series was lopsided. Reggie Miller said had the series been tied 2-2, I bet my right arm Green doesn't get suspended. The NBA wanted that rematch. It wouldn't have generated the same amount of TV views had the 2 time MVP, and the NBAs greatest regular season team, not been in the finals. Draymond got away with A TON in that OKC series. But that incident between him and Bron didn't warrant a flagrant. It should have been a tech assigned to both. If Draymond acted alone, like he didn't against Adams, I'd understand. The fact that he was provoked, and Lebron had the option to go around him to his left or right, he got jerked. And Bron didn't help by talking about it to the media. He pulled a D'angelo Russell, with that move. Broke the guy code in a sense. Like i said, I like Bron, but I lost and lot of respect for him and the league during that series. Did you check out the OKC calls when they played against Miami in the finals? Lebron is favored by the NBA because he generates so much traffic and revenue. Go look at the calls Steph DIDN'T get away with, and then look at what Bron and the Cavs DID get away with. Bron, MJ, Kobe, D Wade, etc, all get/got that MVP treatment by the refs. Steph got called for a lot of chippy fouls, then didn't get any obvious whistles in his favor. The most obvious call was when he ripped Irving at the top of the key, during GSW late comeback in game 5. It was a clear "no call" for a star, but if it was going to be called, guys like Mario Chalmers get dinged for those lol. Not the leagues best or second player.
