You need better role players to support your stars and the Lakers just don’t have that. LeBron was the Lakers 2nd best defender last year. That’s a problem

LeBron has to play only with big men stars, because he needs to be able to hog the ball from them if they are threatening to out-score LeBron, so that narrows his trade options. Looking at the starter level and bench players, LeBron has had good line-ups at LA alone, let alone for the Cavs. It's a known fact, that the rotations have been illogical.
