The fact that bron has finessed the media & public at large into putting him as a default #2 is hilarious to me. He’s not a top 5 player in the history of the game. Never in history has the best player in the game manually constructed a team with another top 5 player and top 10 player in bosh at the time. Yet they STILL only get 2 out of 4. He has earned a reputation amongst purest for the longest as someone who simply looks uncomfortable in the most heightened stakes moments of the pivotal games. He has certainly improved in this aspect much later in his career but the mental intangibles & the moxie it takes mean so much personally to me when ranking players as a totality.

I'm a Lebron fan, but to consider him neck and neck w/ MJ he probably needs one more ring as the best player on a non-super team. Any rings after that or mvps would put him over the top.
