Great to see you again Wogby, I hope you've been doing well! I must admit I've missed your gameplay and have gone back and rewatched your older videos a fair bit to fill in the time - seeing you kick some fresh ass is fantastic and a great break for me from crawling along the ground toward the 35k point stages for the Churchill AVRE lmao (I know it's comedically crap with 180m range but the British tank collector in me won't allow not getting it - I'll GE the damn thing if I hit my suffering limit haha) It's good to see the Leclercs and Merkavas are more able now - I may still play very little top-tier but Merkavas especially are such a rare sight, and with the Leclerc numbers are nowhere near as prolific as the usual big three either of course, that things to keep them as viable choices certainly seem to be for the better. I have to wonder what effect the newly-announced Canadian Leopard and T-80U-E1 will have on things, and whether buy-in noobs will upset things again as they always seem to manage. Again though wonderful to see you back - I look forward to the Centauro video already!
Long time no tank, as it were. It's nice to see the beleaguered Leclercs and Merkavas getting rebalance they deserved a year ago. I'm currently working on the Centuaro video, and I intend to make one on the new Leopard and possibly the 10.0 T80U they've just added. Will be a good time.
Honestly ever since the advent of spall liners at top tier it has been soul sucking. What is annoying for me is that flanking no longer means easy kills, as it really boils down to how random spalling is. Against a Leo or Strv you need to always go for the gun first even if you get a nice flanking shot…..
Yeah I feel that. Pretty much my last video was titled "The Death of Top Tier". Spall liners aren't detailed enough to have been added IMO. Terrible decision.
Leclerc and the Chally have the same 5 second reload now, as long as the Challenger has ammo in the ready rack. As best as I can tell we fired at the same time both shots. I think the bigger question is how did my sabot vanish into thin air on the breach shot.
Yeah, probably. The ammo is quite a bit worse, but the tank doesn't just explode when it gets hit from any direction. We will have to see how the future auto loader changes affect this vehicle's performance.
@@Wogby How does it survive more than Abrams? AFAIK the Leclerc has a much worse armor profile and 3 crew. Did they also change the armor/damage model?
@leviathantsp Idk, it definitely survives penetrating shots more. The abrams has a better turret but getting hit anywhere in the hull is like being shot with APHE, the leclerc usually only loses one crew member.
