How's this for customer service and backing your product.......Early July I bought a Lectric 3.0 from a gentleman on Craigslist with ONE mile on it. His medical situation changed before he had a chance to ride this bike. It was pristine. I put it on my rear carrier and took off from Scottsdale for a 2 month adventure. Bent the handlebars, broke the left brake handle and crushed the controller on the second day on a rough road north of the Grand Canyon. Could not ride it all summer - so MAD at myself for poorly stowing my new bike. Totally my fault. Got back early September and took it in to Lectric Bikes and to my amazement - THEY REPLACED EVERY PART AND WOULD NOT TAKE PAYMENT FROM ME!!!!!!! All the parts were FREE. I did the repairs and I'm riding it today. Thank you, Lectric Bikes.

My girlfriend and I both have 3.0xp Lectric and we love them. The company has been great to deal with. (Ace Ventura delivered one of them) Lectric promptly sent touch up paint pen for a minor scratch from shipping. I’m actually blown away with how much I enjoy riding this bike. I stumbled upon this video while searching for the Lectric XP 3.0 review, and I must say, I couldn't agree more with your positive experience. It's great to hear that you and your girlfriend are enjoying the bikes and that Lectric has provided excellent customer service. On a side note, I recently came across a new project called freebeat's Morph 2-in-1 eBike. It's quite intriguing as it combines indoor fitness and outdoor exploration. They even have an innovative feature where the bike can be charged while you're riding it indoors! It might be worth checking out if you're looking for a new eBike experience. I have had the lectric xp 2.0 and it has been a great bike. Its plenty fast, good range. I usually get about 15 miles while pedaling very little, 10 with alot of hills. What has impressed me even more than the quality of the bike is the customer service I have recieved from lectric. I had some shipping issues and they offered to send me the upgraded headlight, and mirrors for free as consolation. I also had a damaged front fork (due to rough use) and they replaced it for free under warranty, which arrived in 3 days. Big fan of this company and their products.

I bought the original XP step thru in 2019. Great bike for a 72 yr old who hadn’t ridden a bike in 50 yrs. Fat tires were incredibly dependable on gravel country roads with hills. After 1000miles still on original tires. Only downside for me was the insufficient front light for dusk riding and more importantly the 20mile range. Love this bike & just bought it’s updated long range battery sister. Great review.

Recently I reviewed the Sondors Fold XS which was a great bike but a huge premium price.. one we just received I think you’d like is the Addmotor Soletan M66x which is a retro style electric moped for 2.. very cool ride and very comfortable. Now we have a HeyBike Tyson on the way for review which I look forward to, it looks like a great alternative to the Sondors at a much less expensive price. I’ve often seen the Lectric and know it has a great reputation with its owners, maybe we’ll get to review one of those also this year! Cheers mate, keep it up! 😊

I bought the original Lectric bike with 4" tires, and paniers came with it but I ended up buying a couple upgrades such as the seat shock post, & an extra battery. I purchased it for $899 just prior to the pandemic with the intention of taking it with me camping as a foldable trail bike. I put over 400 miles on using it as a city commuter before lockdown. The class 3 update was an immediate fix, but I also found the cruise control feature useful and have also found the uphill walk mode assist handy. The only difficulty I had originally was finding a local shop that would service it. Fixing a flat rear tube and installing thorn liners was tough due to the rear fork tension. They partnered with local shops recently, so getting a proper mechanical fix is now possible. Great bang for the buck!

To come with suspension and a welded-in rack, is a good deal of added value. The display seems close to universal, see it everywhere, however my Aventon Sinch (version of this XP 3) left this good display for one of color, but with goofy features, while taking away necc. ones. I'd rather know my current amps, vs how many trees they post I saved, on this whacky display. And I am not kidding on the goofy tree saver feature. I'll skip the color and go back to this more functional display. Lectric made a smart move by dropping the monsta 4" tires for the more sane 3" too. Thx for review!

The Lectric bike now comes with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes paired with 180mm rotors. They must have seen your review! lol. Unfortunately, the 1000 watt motor makes it illegal on most bike trails and towns. They should have used a 750 watt motor keeping it to 1.0 horsepower. This bike isn't defined as a "bicycle" in PA and DE - where I ride - and where a motor is limited to 750w (1hp)with a top speed of 20mph using throttle-only.

Dr how about riding this XP 3.0 on the beach, as a surf fisherman. Instead of walking to my favorite fishing hole which usually a 2-3 miles walk, this bike should take me there in few minutes riding on the surf beach sands. Do you think the default tires and power will be ok to plow me thru the beach? I am concern about the small tires side on sands, but i am older now in retirement and i need a bike that is 60lbs or less. I am searching for an ebike that can do this beach thing, best if weight around 36-40lbs, but it is great that this bike can fold and is around 60lbs. My budget is around $1000-$1500.

Nice review. I bought the original Lectric XP (1.0) back in 2019. Changes I made on mine, first off changed to a far better mechanical brake, seat, and lights. The 1.0 didn't have the front shock either. So many of the changes I made to my 1.0, the 3.0 has implemented many of the changes (stock brakes I believe are the same). It was my first Ebike and thus not knowing if I'd like the Ebike thing, I went basic entry level at the time. In 2019, the 1.0 listed for the same $999, I was an early buying and believe I paid $899.

They should sell you a front fork so we can replace the forks I know you can get them aftermarket but it'd be so much easier just to buy them from them but they're probably charge it too much

A lot to be said for that ebike. I like my Aventon Aventure. I bought a 2nd battery for it when they had it 40% off. Love the power and stability. I use pedal assist and I get about 30 miles on hilly (foothills) riding. Thanks for the review.

The Aventon is the one I am considering. Do you feel it is worth the higher price tag compared to the Lectric 3.0 Tom reviewed?
@CurtinFortCollins
@CurtinFortCollins Год назад
@@MayhemRv it is a different bike. I am not sure how comparable they are. I bought the Aventure because I wanted to take longer rides and not worry about what type of surface I am riding on. To be honest tho, I have not ridden the model reviewed. I may want to buy it to use along with my Aventon. There are a lot of good reviews out there.

My questions are: what is the lowest height person that can ride this bike so they can put their feet down and do the handlebars adjust backward so a short person can sit upright instead of leaning forward causing strain to the low back and neck muscles suspending the head in forward head posture? If not, these two features need to be accommodated.

It's a 500 watt motor not 1000. That make the price just normal not better then others. That said at this point the company is reliable compared to others.

I was confused by this too. Not such a great deal now.
@HOBOTECH
@HOBOTECH Год назад
It's 1000w peak. They said it pulls 20A (48v*20A=1000w) under max load. A 500w bike can't peel tire. I think they say 500w to keep it universally legal.

Just a note, I ordered 2 XP 3.0 bikes May 14 (and they were supposedly in stock) and today they told me that my bikes would ship "by the end of July" , 2 weeks ago I was assured that they would ship "by the end of June". The frustrating thing is that no one seems to be addressing the poor customer service. It seems to me that until they start getting bad pr from someone with an audience their going to stay mum. Their bikes seem like the absolute best value proposition, their customer service and communication, not so much.
@HOBOTECH
@HOBOTECH Год назад
The problem is they promoted the crap out of the 3.0 then my video hit. They simply ran out of stock. However, they are giving everyone a FREE UPGRADE to hydraulic brakes and a FREE UPGRADE to the controller for waiting a month for new stock. I think this is more than enough of a payment for most folks time.
