This video explains how to trace a simple hydraulic circuit in fluid power application.
During the explanation process please assume double acting cylinder instead of single acting cylinder as the fluid is admitted on both the sides of a piston.... Thanks !!!

What would happen if you pumped air (or water) in the opposite direction to the arrows in the valve's square ? Would it still flow, or is it like a check valve and it would get blocked off ?

nice video but some pump have internal release or relief valve, how to identify??? like we are facing problem we are using several ILC lubrication MPT-500 model system. during operation motor runs and raise pressure to 35 bar, during release from 35bar to zero motor turns back.we have total 5 system. but one of our system pressure release taking too much time, motor do not rotate back during release, and system says lubrication line in pressure.pressure raise normally till 35 bar but release taking too much time. i couldn't figure out where is the release valve, or why its taking too much time to release pressure, and why motor don't turns back during release.

Spool of the D.C. valve is operated in such a way that right envelop mode is obtained & the return stroke starts. The spool may be operated manually or using Push button or using solenoid valve . Thanks....

Hi, Can a faulty Pressure Control Valve, of a diesel car's fuel injection pump, cause hard starts in the mornings ? You see, I've checked almost everything else (battery, starter, glow plugs, EGR, MAF, etc., etc.) and all working well. The hard starts only happens in the morning, I dont get hard starts throughout the day, not in between trips, not even between short trips. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance !

actually is a double acting cylinder. the single acting returns by spring force, the double returns by air
