Sir, do banks accept properties with red strings because banks required jamabandis for the mortgage properties and these are not recorded in jamabandis.

Different banks have different guidelines for this.. so can't say.. many banks accept this

Very informative video, I want to add that most of the terms are used in Rajasthan also like Pata, Jamabandi, Khashra No, Khata No so it's useful for those who resides or working in Rajasthan

Sir mostly case is coming without title deed as discuss with customer he haven't tittle deed he says property is too older can we mortgage this type of property with any legal process..pls guide sir

Usually if they don't have title deeds then there must be some record in govt. And govt. Approved record can be fetched. Like in Punjab, haryana and rajasthan patwari and jamabandi concept is there. Usually non availability for title deed is phenomenon happens in agri properties. In such cases, registered mortgage way is preferable. Again there must be proper govt. Record mechanism should be there in which this property becomes identifiable and appropriate approval from internal legal and lawyer to be taken before proceeding further

Do we take lal dora property? If not what's the reason? For lal dora properties- these are Residential properties only na?

Banks take Lal dora properties subject to some restrictions. However it is also a fact that some banks does not take this as collateral. It is not necessary that they are resi properties only.

Hi. The definition given is correct for khasra no. While sometimes you may find different people assigning different meaning to khewat no. I have explained on the basis of best info available.
