Many thanks Prof. How to apply NTU method when the heat capacity ratio is changing? for example when a bypass is attached to the Hot stream which is used in manipulation of the flowrate? in the case of this example, at bypass fraction=0.0, Cmin is the COLD stream and at bypass fraction = 0.7, Cmin is the HOT stream.

Sir, Why is the actual Heat transfer rate Q is equal to Qc?

the overall heat transfer U, the unit is on Kelvin, and for the other parameter for example delta T the unit is on Celsius, would that be a problem at the end after the calculation is done? can anybody explain?

Bakrie Gassing for ex. (80-20) = 60 Celsius its the same as saying (353-293) = 60 Kelvin. But at the end of the day U must be written in Kelvin, SI unit.
