I was thinking of doing something similar for the backsplash in the kitchen when I built my last house as there were no cabinets behind the induction popup down draft fan. Very cool to see how you did it. As to the fireplace, we did install a wood burning fireplace that was zoned so that it could move heat to the basement and second floor and we used the fireplace all the time. We went wood as I never really saw the purpose of an electric fireplace. Keep up good work.
never heard of a fireplace that can heat other floors! 🤯 that sounds amazing! I do agree the electric fireplaces are little more than glorified space heaters though 😅
