LED Flame Light Bulb Review
In this video I’ll be doing a product review on a 2-Pack of LED Flame Light Bulbs I picked up from Amazon that are some of the most realistic looking ones I’ve ever seen! In fact you have to really do a double-take when you see these outside to make sure somethings not burning!
In the video I will go over all the positive features of these LED Flame bulbs and then follow it up with the negative features of the LED Flame bulbs. Then there is a conclusion and a wrap up.

I bought one. And I have it in my room as a general lamp. I used to have the "lowest" brightness soft white LED bulb on my nightstand lamp. The light was horrible (bright). When, I got up to pee, I had to turn the light on. And it would ruin my sleep. I wasn't able to go back to sleep. Now, I decided to buy a pair of flame bulbs. The light is amazing I can even fall asleep with the flame light on. And if get up to go pee I can easily fall back to sleep.

Hey everyone, let me know where else you are using these LED Flame bulbs, I've just got them in the entryway fixtures, but they would work inside pumpkins, and for other decorations as well.

I'm in a Pirate reenactment guild and we attend faires year round. I'd like convert these bulbs to DC (there's a hack on youtube) and put them in lanterns around camp.

Why only use them during the holiday season? They seem like they would create a great ambiance all year round. If you set them to a certain mode, (like upside-down mode) when you shut the lights off overnight do they return to the last setting, or do they always start in a default mode after being shut off for a long time?

You have a great point, and they are the most realistic looking flame bulbs I've found on the LED side of things, so definitely if you want that great flame look and feel, use them all the time! Thank you for the comment.

dumb question. does your lights run on one switch? I have booth on and only one is going. Is it cause of the modes that one is confused on?

Out the front door those are on just one switch, they are on the same mode, if you shut them off and on again that changes modes. The other lights, are on separate switches, so it shouldn't matter it all works the same as long as they have power. Try swapping the bulbs around maybe and see if that helps.

@Fix My Bleep! Sadly you havn't disassable it to see the inner life. Further the question is how intelligent this bulbs program is? Does it repeat always the same flame pattern over and over or does it randomly create the flame? Doesn't they look also a little bit to orangeish? Once I have bought such a bulb (don't know the brand name) but if it was getting on my nervs when always repeating the same flame pattern and you can regocnize it. Maybe I'm a to observent but for me it kills the illusion of a real flame.

@@uciislamodarapa6827 Hey thank you for the comment and great questions! So out of all of the LED flame bulbs I've tested, these are the most realistic looking ones that I can find. With that being said, there is some repeating patterns if you sit and look at them long enough, and also I'll eventually be doing a follow-up video with these bulbs. They look more orange on camera than they really are, driving down the road towards my house, these lights look like actual flickering torches. The fire illusion is great. I hope that helps.

@@FixMyBleep Thx for your replay. Well I have look for many in countless test on YT but nothing have convienced my really. So I'm hoping for a show runner. They are on the right way but it seems not interested to put to much effort in reaching the goal. What I dislike in some cirmumstances such flickering is simply to much. It should be ajustable from torch mode to more candle like mode. Further I would like to see smaller ones like candels. So you can say ah! there is already something like candle LED but if you look the illumination is definitly weaker then those of a real candle. So there are a lot of possible improvements but if they will ever accour? Who knows. Let me know if you should figure out something interesting. Maybe it will come a better version maybe not. Time by time I will visit your channel. Take care!

@@uciislamodarapa6827 Thank you my friend for checking back with my channel! The best candle looking lights I've found aren't LED, but are still incandescent bulbs, but when I do a follow-up video, if there are any that look more like a candle I'll be sure to include them.

@FixMyBleep Hi! Loved this video and thank you for the thorough review. I have a few questions if you can please help. I am needing several of these for a project and want the brightest most intense flickering flame feel on the market. Is this bulb the brightest and most realistic you have found? I know this video is from two years ago so I’m not sure if your opinion has changed. Also can you please check the name brand on your actual bulb and let me know what it is? I believe the link in your video now links to a bulb under a different brand. I want to make sure I am getting the one you have. Last question… when you were cycling through the modes outside in front of your house, what were you using to change the modes? Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi, so to cycle through the modes I was turning the switch off for a few seconds and then back on. I’m betting there may be a brighter bulb on the market by now, it’s been a couple years so let me do some research. The one in the video changed names to the one in my link, I think this is common with some Chinese companies. Sorry for the delayed response.

@@gingerlox1050 You may also check these out, they look really good in the videos I can find and have a 4.5 out of 5 start in general. You also want to read as many Amazon reviews as possible to see what other people think before buying, I hope that helps! We use ours and still love them, but more realistic is always better.
