If your able to hide them under the cover (if theres ample space) at the rear of the lights you may get away with it ;) [Quote] Please note that since January 2021, the MOT Inspection manual has been updated to include LED bulbs. Section 4.1.4 now states the following: “Existing halogen headlamp units should not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp.” This is a brand new update that seems to only focus on headlights. There are no mentions to fail other LED bulbs such as brake lights, tail lights or reversing lights. Thanks again.

Well done! Clearly said, and we’ll filmed. My only suggestion would be to clearly show which and how many fender well clips need to be removed to access the right side low beam light. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for a very detailed video and comprehensive instructions that are easy to follow. Somehow my weak hands could not remove the connector first from the light fixture. I twisted the lamp and removed if first. Then I was able to separate the connector from the light. I finished installing the same brand of LED low and high beam lights and couldn’t be happier thanks to you.

Love the comparison on the different bulbs DannyDIY :). Got tired of replacing Halogen bulbs, so I Just switched to all LED bulbs! Love them already! :) . Look sick 😎. Super bright, and hopefully they last longer than Halogen.

love this video! just one question. if i buy this kit, i can get aftermarket halogen headlight housing and use this kit to change out my old halogen bulbs for led bulbs?

Isn’t 44000 lumens a lot for a 2009 Honda civic? I’ve been told by the auto part dealers that’s it’s a lot and usually you won’t need more than 1200-1800 lumens per bulb for high beams and around 1000 for low beams. I’m looking for a led light for my 2009 Honda civic 2 dr. Need help!

If I had that room, I would go for Auxito - 10S low beam and Auxito - M3 on high beams. Those are all in one unit led bulbs. And they shaped like a halogen bulbs with a cooling fans. Much better well made led bulbs. Their not gonna be as bright as with an led bulb with a cooling fan. Those definitely be brighter than stock. But not as bright as an active led bulbs than this. If I were u, (I know ur happy with them but), I would replace both the ones I mention. Or something reliable like Lasfit - LC plus low beams since it’s compact, and for high beams the LA plus. Those have the perfect 6000k pure white.

Which type are use in fog light and headlight h4 or h11 i am confuse which will fit in these two sides

My led headlights I adjusted downward all the way, but for some reason it still seems to be a bit too high. Also, light is shining too high up and outward on my left and right headlights. How do I fix this?

Great video! I just bought a 2011 4dr Civic Si and want to do this. However, there are halogen running lights I believe. Wouldn't the halogen running lights look weird if you added the LED low beams? Does your car not have the running lights?

Danny, Is it possible to adjust the left/right aim of the lights on your Civic? I have a 2008 Civic and my drivers side headlight beam seems to point toward the center of the road whereas the passenger side points straight ahead.

I don't recommend doing this because you'll have electric issues down the road. I've seen people upgrading their headlight bulbs then months later they have a dead battery, or parasitic drain issues.

Very informative but your car like all other Honda your lens are so opaque your loosing 40% of your total brightness ! Imagine if your lenses would be clear how powerful this would be !

They need to make these illegal in the US. They are far too bright and blind people making driving dangerous. Especially the older drivers on the road, they have a difficult time seeing and now your blinding them.

Hi Thanks for the informative video. Can you tell me the model of light you purchased. As I tried two different brands and the socket pins are not the exact same size and the led light seems loose and comes out if I wiggle it. @dannysdiygarage
