Is this only for style? Or does the end result provide enough luminosity to act as a low interior light? I’m looking for a defused ambient light for my van interior.
I have the exact same car as yours. I did mine with a blue color but only had it in for a month or so. The power source were from the 12v lighter panel . It has a plug that connects to the lighter panel. The problem I experienced was the black adapter (which is on yours as well) got hot and started to melt and burnt. I didn't trust it ever since. Now looking at your setup where you connect it directly to the fuse is just as dangerous. If it gets too hot it'll damage your car. Worse cause it to burn.
Hey thanks for the video. I bought the same light kit ( blue ) with the same red and black wire harness. I want to connect to my my interior lights to the car. Can I just hotwire directly to interior light source or through the fuse? Thx
If you get 12v output, you can connect. But my advice is always connect with the fuse instead of loading too much. Heavy load may blow your fuse and may cause fire. So better connect with the additional fuse.
Thanks for your video bro, please respond, what color LED ribbon did you install? Does it automatically comes in in the land that is enough enough for the - and is the - and control area? Please Thank you
One thing bro, my concern is when you stick this into the trimming, its not that smooth. I can clearly see some areas not following trims line that good. Can you do something about it when some areas are too tight and some too wide?
@@nishan747 ok, cool. Today i tried it on e46. My fears came true. Not so straight lines. One tip btw, tap it on the power wire of ashtray bulb or something, so you can dim it out, looks like oem. Cheers
Thanks for saying that. I live in Manchester now and don't do it for money. You can seek help from your local garages. They will be able to do it for you. They won't charge you much
No. As long as you turn on the ignition it will start working until you turn off the ignition. If you want that work with headlight, you need to connect with the headlight line.
@@sayemabegum1588 you can type such el led light, neon glow led light, el wire. It should be okay to install as long as you have enough gaps for the light's broadside to go in.
@@nishan747 like a Jamaican would say "no Sir" thank you I don't want to get my car system fucked up I thought it was something that I could just plug and unplug easily to the cigarette lighter thank you again
