Hi there! I have a slightly older toyota, but i don’t have DRL’s stock. Would I just wire into the nromal headlight wire? Also, I have very bad with wiring, but i don’t understand what you did with the yellow wires. would it be okay to just splice them in normally? Thank you so much!!

Yes you can wire to the normal headlight. When you turn the headlight on the LED strip will turn on as well. You can alternatively find a fuse that turns on when the vehicle turns on and tap into that. Now you have DRL's. Yes you can splice them just make sure you use electrical tape or liquid tape to seal and waterproof your wiring.

Esta muy bien pero me encantaria mas encontrar unas tiras led que alumbren muchisimo mas intenso! Si lo comparas con tus leds originales de tu coche, ves que es muy delgado i alumbra bien, pero alumbra poco intenso.. busco tira que alumbre mucho!

When i comnect red to + on battery and black to - on batter with yellow on turn signal, it will work without any problem ? Because now I have plugged then on low beam and when i start the car, drl Turned off but turn signal still working

Are they bright as the stock headlights or do they reduce brightness?

I would say not as bright as the stock headlights but may as bright as the stock DRL's.

So if I'm doing it on my motorcycle with signal lights that are separate from the headlights (on the side of the bike), then i just need LED strips with wires and connected them directly to the wires of the existing signals...no need to mess around with the DRLs?

Red wire is connected to Parking Light. Does this mean DRLs work only when you are driving with the Parking Light on? What about the Rear Parking Lights, do they too have to remain on to keep the DRLs on.

Yes. It will work to whatever the power source it's connected to.

Yes. Don't wire the red wire. Just the black and yellow wire.

Sounds like you have a different one. If you don't have the yellow wire it does not have the turn signal.

That would be difficult. Nowadays power door locks are connected to a module which is interconnected to all the other locks.

It looks great but issue with this kind of install is during pressurized car wash. Personnel should be aware of that sticker.

Yes. With the hood closed it should be fine as it lies in between the hood and the headlight. If you pressure wash with the hood open, then you run the risk of the sticker peeling off.

Unfortunately, I do not. I used a voltage meter to determine which wire is the DRL.

@@jerwin0416 not necessarily a volt meter. You can use a continuity tester. amzn.to/3dSz4yB You need a way to see which wire corresponds to what. If you can get the wiring diagram that would be good too.

Yeah. I just push behind the harness in the correct wire. I will suggest to mabe add some liquid tape to prevent corsion.

My led strip came with push pins attached already which I didn't know what it was for untill I watched your video and saw how you just pushed it in behind the harness, now I can finally put the light on my suv.

Hello, I have the same DRL strip. I can make the white light turn on by tapping the red and black on my parklights but the turn light (yellow) doesn't work when I tap it on my turn signal positive wire.

When you tap the yellow wire to a positive is the black wire still connected? I would test directly to the battery terminals. Yellow to positive and black to negative.

Yes. I believe you can. Make sure that the fuse source turns off when the vehicle is off.

Your parking lights will work or headlights. However it will only turn on when your parking lights or headlights are on. Try tapping into a radio fuse or cigarette fuse

I noticed I have a pair of Fog lights that have been removed but the connections are still there, there is a white and black from the old fog light connection, I just want the white DRL light not the Amber to work so the current amber hooked to the car will work via its OEM, so based on this which wires do I connect to the old Fog light connectors which are black and white and will it work if I only connect the DRL white not the amber. try connecting the red wire to fuse 20 or 22 in the engine fuse box. make sure they shut off when the engine is off.

can anyone help, i installed an item like this on my car and one side is brighter than the other, I got it replaced from seller thinking it was faulty but got the same problem again, so I switched the lights over and have noticed its only bright on one side of my car the other side is dim, both inidicator light and the DRL

For the first time use in the first car. No issues at all. Sticks right on and stays. After removing the adhesive to transfer to another car it is not reusable. I will buy more 3M tape so I can reuse.

Yes you can. Make sure you use a heat shink tube or liquid electrical tape to waterproof the connection. Then it will be safe.

@gantoniom9615 try testing by using a battery. Tap the black to a negative and yellow to the positive. This is to make your your lights work

No need to use tester just go on the wire coding and you will know the correct wiring.

The video is nice but incomplete. I put it on my car (Audi A6) and although it has daylight, I wanted to make it more interesting. BUT surprise. If you leave more light on the hazard light, it goes out of sync and looks awful. If you have passed this phase, please make a video and teach us too. Success.
