LED Tail Lights + Load Equalizer Install on 2006-2012 4th Generation Eclipse 

worked awesome turned off my tcl, abs and got my cruise control back I despise these taillights but they were installed by the previous owner and I'll live with them and thw aftermarket headlights till I can get the stock lights back in. thank u

You sir are a god! I have a 07 Eclipse and needed new tail lights. Your video made it super easy for me to replace them. You gave me info on all the ins and outs, that subwoofer removal all of it! I am also going to be replacing my head lights and bumper cover and your other video will help me on that also. You saved me a ton of money with just these 2 videos. I can't thank you enough.

Did everything you said, worked out perfectly! Even with the load equalizers. The slide connection from the aftermarket tail lights, I didnt cut mines off, I connected the way it was intended to but I wrapped it in electrical tape since the mini circuit board was exposed. Other than that, everything came out perfect! Thanks for this guide!!!

I have an eclipse as well and you helped me installed mine by myself. As a woman i can't thank you enough for this lol. So now whenever i tell people i installed them myself i look badass XD So does my car now ;)

Hi Jason, First let me thank you for your excellent videos. They've really helped me with my 2007 Eclipse GS. I just purchased the Third Upper Middle Brake Lamp Spoiler. But I haven't been able to find any instructions on how to install it. I was hoping you could direct me to a video or any information that might help me. Just to save A LOT of time on anyone doing this, you do not need to take apart the whole interior. All you need to do is remove the cover as if youre going to change the lightbulb and take the 10mm nut out and then take a few clips off thw cover on the edge of the trunk to find the second 10mm and light will come right out.

I put these in a 2007 Spyder GT a few years ago. The driver's brake light quit working, the running light works as well as the right brake and the one on the spoiler. I checked all the connections and everything is good. Any ideas?

Jason, this fixed my traction control light as well as my cruise control just by adding the load equalizers. Thank you! Weird thing is that all the lights work now expect by left rear brake light when dims or regular lights are not on. Once I turn on one or the other the left rear brake light works?!

Hey jason, great video! I have a 2007 gs and i have a problem removing the left side headlight because there is something in the way and i cant get to the push conection contrary to the right side which is very accesible, any suggestions?

Jason can you please put up a video on how to remove the center brake light you know the clear spoiler thing in the middle because mine has a spoiler on it and because of the clear thing in the middle I think it's called a trunk lid it makes it look like it has two spoilers and idk how to take it off!??

Hey, which hole is the blinker bulb going in and which one for the brake bulb? I installed just like you showed and noticed all bulbs are working except the inner whole that I put the brake bulb in. I put the blinker in the one with the led accessory

both the tail light and headlight are dimmer? sounds like some sort of electrical issue.... the taillight half circle issue may be a defect in the taillight.

do you have any videos of the rear shocks? how to access them and instal a coilover kit?

What about stereo been looking into getting one that’s touch screen an trying to find the surround piece for the stereo and vents

Hey Jason my Passenger back light LEDs are out which is weird cause the rest of them are working fine.. I thought they were bad but they actually light up when I step on the break but stay off while I'm driving.. I've been pulled over already, switched the main bulbs & can't seem to find the problem :// help plz

Yes sir that is EXACTLY why your cruise control does not work. this will ALSO fix your cruise control! these are 6 Ohm 25-watt but the 6-50 work as well

hey Jason I just installed this tail lights on my sisters 08 eclipse gt and put in the load resistors but the tcc still on any ideas on what went wrong

I got a pair of the black ones for my 09 gs, it doesnt have traction control, its a 5 speed, and i need the resistors to get my cruise control to work again, mine doesnt have the sub woofer or need all the truck panels removed like this did, just 2 little tab panels inside trunk to remove screw and then replace the lights.

you have them reversed if that the case, when you push the brake pedal they should get twice as bright :)

I noticed a Az plate, do you install if I have the head and tail lights?

Can anyone please tell me what clips are used for the bumper and the trim piece that is above the bumper that the trunk lid hits when closing? I can't find the part to replace all the missing clips. Thank you all for your time:)

Hey Jason, I believe adding LED tail lights broke my cruise control. I don't get any error lights on the dash and I do not have any load resistors installed. Do you think its the LED lights that caused cruise control malfunction? I was reading on bunch of forums and LED brake light is normally the cause. Do you think that adding load resistors will fix this problem with the cruise control. Are these 6 Ohm 50W resistors?

I have the same lights but black, the running lights stopped working all of a sudden brake lights still works, i checked the fuse in the engine bay looks fine i changed it anyways. Now I'm just confused to what's causing it to not work

Do I have to use the LED bit or can I just leave it and plug in the rest of the lights?

I have a big problems with my 2007 Eclipse,2.4 litres,maby someone can help me,because where i live is only this model in the city and nobody can help me.When i start the car,the light is start automatic,but with less intense.When i start the light button,is more intense in front and normaly must start and tail light from the round LED ,but start just the side tail lights,the central round LEDs don't work.When i push the brake it light more intense,so LEDs is working.What can i do? I check all the wires,and fuses and relays,everything is ok.I wonder if i make any conections between side bulb lights and Round LEDs lights,could work?But the LED s have very thin wires ,and bulb have more strong,that could make a short circuit and i'm affraid about that.Another problem is with radio unit.It don't work and on the main display appear E DC.I put another cd player,a regular one ,not special for this car ,and at display appear E COM.I will be wery greatfull for hwo can help me with this problems,in my country when i was with my ECLIPSE at Mitsubishi's representative,they said it's first time when they saw that type, so they don't have any solutions for me...

so if the led goes out, you have to replace the whole tail light assembly?

mat im sorry your having trouble with the installation. if the tcl lights come on about 10 minutes after driving that means you did not install the equalizers correctly or you have faulty equalizers. you are the only person that we know of that is having problems with this install, maybe you should look into having a professional install your lights.

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a 2007 4 Cylinder Mitsubishi Eclipse. My right taillight is out. I think it may be a short since It has come back and gone off. Also, my friend discovered some water that seeped into it. I'm trying to figure out if it's just the taillight of if the car has electrical issues in general. My dash lights don't always come on when i turn my car off and I have to play with the switch to get my back seat lights to come on. Help please!! i don't want to spend more than I have to to get these issues resolved.
