I put these in a 2007 Spyder GT a few years ago. The driver's brake light quit working, the running light works as well as the right brake and the one on the spoiler. I checked all the connections and everything is good. Any ideas?
"Up and out?" Not on my 2012. I think I would have appreciated knowing the location of the trim panel retainers so I could at minimum have a shot at prying them out intact instead of breaking all but one by pulling "up and out."
Just an FYI, having wasted my time: if you broke your doorhandle you do not have to take your doorpanel off to install aftermarket door-pulls. Just unscrew the two bolts where the broken pieces of the OEM door-pulls are and it should come right off, allowing you to install the new ones. Even if you didn't break your door handle, you *could* intentionally break the handle so you don't have to take the entire door off. Hope this helps!

DONT DO THIS, worked for about a year and now my headlights aren’t kicking on so I’m pushing the pin back in to see if they come on, I did notice that after I did this when I was on “parking” mode I would have faint headlights which I thought looked cool but I’m pretty sure it still sends power somewhere it shouldn’t

So i have an 07 gt 3.8 eclipse . Other day I hit 120mph and it felt like it did not wanna go any further. So my question is would changing my stock injectors to other let me hit or come close to 160mph ? For is there something else not related to injectors that needs to be addressed? I've seen threads of poeple talking about how they hit 120 mph and the car doesn't want to push any further . Like it's not capable. Great video by the way . Very well explained.
So you hit the rev limiter. A tune will allow you to get higher than the 120, as you can remove that safety feature. Injectors would only be useful for forced induciton and would also require tuning.

Well, either way, thanks to your video, I was able to fix my issue either way. My shift got stuck on reverse and I was able to replace the part. I was very confused on how to remove the center piece. Keep the videos up man
how do i undo the wiring though, i bought an eclipse that has these headlights but the lights are destroyed and i wanna buy whole new ones but i don’t know how to undo the wiring out of the blinker harness because the people that owned it last put a hid ballast in there
can someone tell me why the socket in my car is a 5 cable insted the 3 on the headlights of this one? how can i convert the 5 socket into the 3 socket of the after market headlight?
Most likely because you have factory HID. You'll need a light meter to figure out what wire does what then you'll need to hard splice it into the headlight harness.
I been thinking about changing my headlight covers simply cause they are getting moisture build up and im sick of it. Just wondering if when u change the headlight covers will your beam adjustment still work after. Not sure its on all of them but mine has a dial u can point your lights up or down with. I dont want to change them if it will delete that option. Any chance u know?

Im not talking about the screw adjustments under the hood im talking bout the one on a knob next to my dimmer switch and fog light switch that raises and lowers the beam from my headlights to point higher or lower from inside my car in the drivers seat not the basic screw adjustments all headlight have under the hood obviously it has those.
Thank you for posting this video, after watching this video I immediately went out and bought the wiper delete for my 2006 Eclipse GT. Found a universal one on amazon for $6 bucks and this was probably the easiest thing to replace on the car. Took maybe 8-10 mins to do from start to clean up. Such a clean look now.

I just bought my daughter a 2011 spyder gs with factory hid lights and they suck so I'm replacing them with the spec d ones and installing hid in low beam and leaving halogen in high beam.my question is can I connect led strip and halo's to that pin on ecu or pin removed?
