You're right, it should be against the law to separate these two fantastic companion songs, but apparently it's not. You're the first reactor I've seen play them both. Bravo!

Recently heard a story where John paul jones was working as a producer on an album. The author said JPJ was sitting by himself playing the bass. Everyone is going about their business and then he started to play Heartbreaker. Everyone stopped talking. Everyone stopped moving. Could you imagine?

Warning just when you think you found your favorite zeppelin song. Then you hear another and it becomes your favorite.and you hear another and it takes you somewhere totally different. Than that’s your favorite. Just when you think ok it can’t get any better than this. You hear another and it just keeps getting better and better. Now all the songs become your favorite. Because there are no bad zeppelin songs. Only timeless masterpieces. That each are unique and take you to different places. Hard Rock, Blues,Reggae, Folk, Country, Funk, R&B, Soul , Pop,Psychedelic Rock. You will hear all these. Led Zeppelin the most diverse band . They could wake up in the morning and flip a coin and say ok let’s play this or let’s do that. The reason is because they can. Very few bands ever could do this. Just another reason Led Zeppelin is the greatest band then. Now . And will forever be. You have a long journey my friend. Enjoy the ride

Jimmy Page occasionally played his guitar with a cello bow to create a droning sound texture to the music. True artists. I was 12 when this came out, thanks for taking me on a time travelling journey!

That’s tough I felt like I gave it that much and I expected that same amount of love back but that’s too much to expect from anyone even if I’m giving that much. Your Sincerity matched with your vulgarity makes all of this very fun.I have so many song suggestions I don’t know where to start. One thing I would love to see is if you were to bring on somebody who isn’t as well-versed with your taste in music and gave them the kind of explanation and rundown of some of your favorite songs that you would like from a person. I also loved how you listened to the original black Betty after listening to the cover. I think that should be done more often and it’s completely underutilized. Since you did a Ram Jam Leadbelly cover you should maybe consider when Nirvana covered “where did you sleep last night“ live on MTV unplugged. That’s another Leadbelly song that was resurrected by a modern band And boy oh boy does that song have a dark history and meaning.

They kept getting better. "Physical Graffiti" came out in '75 and was their sixth album and maybe there best (or at least equal to Led Zep IV).

As far as your comment about do they get better? It's so difficult to describe when a band evolves so quickly musically. So pretty much all of the albums are different and yes I realize that you're pointing out the first two albums are quite similar. But you got the third album which didn't get much are play although it has great stuff on it but by the fourth album, The Rune album, wow man they were blowing everybody's socks off and it just rolled from there and unfortunately it ended too soon with the death of Bonzo the drummer but that last album Into the out door. There is not a bad song on that in fact it's hard for me to find a bad Led Zeppelin song and all of their catalog but I remember when it came out then I kind of thought I've gotten so pop you know it's like they just sold out or something but when I look back at it now as an older musician and a Led Zeppelin fan, I am just blown away. You can randomly pick anything off that final album before he died and it's fucking fireman.
