They were only Led Zeppelin for 12 years, from 1968 until 9/25/1980 when the drummer, John Bonham died. They performed one other time in 2007 for one show at the 02 arena in England and there was over 20 million ticket requests. I've been a fan for a long time. They were getting ready for a tour which was going to bring them to Detroit on October 30 1980. I was 14 and had bugged the hell outta my mom to let me go. She finally gave in but I had to earn the money myself and I had to earn enough for 2 tickets. I had to take a friend. I earned every penny by babysitting bad ass kids that I didn't like, walking dogs or them walking me is a better way to put it. I mowed lawns in the blazing heat but I earned the money. I love your reaction! Being a teen in the 70s I tell you they were so unreal to us, we felt blown away just like you are doing right now. So fun to see you reacting the same way almost 50 years later. That’s what music does, truth to power! Love, love, love you man.

Fun fact about this track is that the beginning echoing at the end of this song was not actually planned. It had bled over into the finalized tract and they left it.

Okay first, this has to be one of my favorite reactions, second, you need to watch ALL the live performances from NY/Madison Square Garden and third...as a true OG who experienced these guys back in the day and still rocks out to their music, next time you see a little old lady with grey hair 👩‍🦳, don’t judge. She just might be someone who has the same musical tastes as you. Age doesn’t make you cool or uncool. It’s all in the attitude my friend. Thx & Happy New Year!

One of my all time favorite rock bands!!! 😍 Led Zeppelin is definitely a unique phenomenon of, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk, & acoustic styles of music, so I would have to say, they really are, a genre all on their own 😎 Robert Plant was absolutely a ladies man, however, all accounts, are that he was incredibly witty, down to earth, and that his gyrations & attitude that came across on stage, was just how he felt the music........check out joe Cocker, if you are not familiar with his work, as he is another one that gyrated even more than Plant, although, didn't come off as sexy as Plant 😍 Oh, and one more thing, everyone who listens to their music, feels like something is happening to their ears, so just remember to use protection LOL 😂 Some of my fav's by them are, Immigrant Song, Black Dog, Since I've been loving you, Babe I'm gonna leave you, & Dazed & Confused!!

I went to a Led Zeppelin concert in Honolulu 1970. I was just a kid and new to their music, but that concert was amazing. My first contact-high from the smoke filled auditorium.

Around five years ago, I saw Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters. I don't know if they still tour, but it was amazing. They played a few Zeppelin songs and others that were so creative. They used instruments I have never seen before. Played the guitar solo in Rock n Roll with something that looked like a square violin and it sounded great. My son and I left speechless with our mouths hanging open!

Your reaction is normal for a new Zeppelin listener, it's one on the many reasons why they are known as " The Mighty Led Zeppelin " if you really want to get your ears *#@%ed listen to Presence, especially Achilles last stand. Or just dot the Zepethon, sit your ass down and listen to all 9 studio albums in a row...

Not so much of a fun fact for you the band ended when bonzo passed after a hard day drinking tragic look it up it was sad

hey man, saw zep twice in the 70s in the uk, 73 in a 2000 seat theatre and 75 last of 5 nights at earls court, superb nights, no support, just 3+ hours of zeppelin... fun fact, 1/2 way through they did a 20 minute acoustic set, just sat on stools playing acoustic and mandolin, showed how superb they were at any genre, we'll never see another band like them... i grew up in the 60s and 70s in the uk, best years of my life....a uk tour in those days would be 40 nights minimum, no stadiums back then, every week end good bands playing locally, by good i mean the who, fanny, humble pie, tiger, ted nugent... too many to name, all playing local provincial theatres, wonderful times....merry christmas sir... best wishes Tim

@@brittanygarrison8030 If you are referring to Terry Kath... Yes he was a great musician with in his walls.. Page didn't believe in walls... He pushed his sound beyond walls.. all ways pushing the limits.. sometimes brilliantly.. sometimes fails.. but never scared to venture outside his walls... that's why most experts say he is one of the best.. imo

Their performance from MSG (and the Song Remains The Same motion picture) is crap (they were drunk and sloppy).....check out (here on youtube) their 1669 Danish black and white TV, or their 1970 Royal Albert Hall, performances. WAY better. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k-WSbMW7BPc.html
