Drummer John Bonham is simply the GREATEST DRUMMER OF ALL TIME!!!! The man could do bass drum patterns/beats with a SINGLE DRUM PEDAL like no other ever has been able to. I requested this song to you probably a year ago. I knew your fucking mind would be blown. Thank you for finally being brave enough to react to it. Love ya brother! HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!!!!
Best ever song + best ever band = best song ever made. Just my opinion. The kick drum in this is just so freaking sweet I want to cry. I do believe Bonzo and JPJ stole the show on this one. They held down that beat, that groove, that rhythm so tightly, to pure perfection. It's a masterpiece, 11 minutes of eargasm. Merry Christmas!
An interviewer once questioned Jimmy as to whether the coughing at the conclusion was appropriate. Jimmy pointed out to the fellow the band’s sense of humor. He then went on to say, “We. Are. Playing.” Delightful reaction, as ever. ( I’ve asked Santa to have you react to “Led Zeppy’s” For Your Life. I told him you’d love it.) Merry Christmas!
I was consumed by massive giggles watching you torque out to Bonham’s drumming and that INCREDIBLE slide guitar work. Yeah, this is one of their tracks that really showcases Bonzo, and perfectly points out to anyone with ears why the other three members immediately decided that it would be impossible to continue without John….and would actually be disrespectful to his memory. Genius drummer. Although I deeply respect many outstanding drummers in several genres, , (Neil Peart, Danny Carrey, Simon Phillips, Russ Kunkel, Michael Lee, Mike Portnoy, Jeff Porcaro, Dave Grohl, TaylorHawkins, Vinnie Colaiuta and several others) Bonzo, to me, is the best rock, blues rock and hard rock drummer who ever lived.
Well, the Occasion now is "In my time of THANKING"! That was great, bro, I figured it would be. I knew from your past comments about Bonham's drumming that this one would take you to the next level, haha! Bonham WAS **irreplaceable**--for them to remain anything like they were. He was probably the greatest rock drummer ever, but he was without ANY doubt the greatest drummer for Led Zeppelin, and without him they couldn't have been the best band ever, imo. Thanks again for granting our request, man. Merry F Christmas!
Epic track and epic reaction Mark. So glad you appreciate the talent and genius of John Bonham, and Led Zeppelin. Some bands have multiple replacement band members, but John Bonham was completely irreplaceable. Thanks for making me laugh out loud at your enthusiasm and humour throughout the year. Have a wonderful Xmas and Happy new year. Look forward to the next Led Zeppy reaction.
John Bonham was the drummer ...tragically drowned in his own Vomit on a drunken bender......his son played the drums on the zeppelin reunion 30 years later
i LOVE YOUR REACTIONS I REMEMBER MINE BACK WHEN THIS CAME OUT I SAW THEM DO IT LIVE IN JAN OF 1975 AND THE ALBUM CAME OUT A MONTH OR SO LATER AND WE ALL IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED THIS EPIC EPIC SONG IT KILLED US FIRST TIME LIVE!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU ISAID LOVE YOU BEEN WITH YA SINCE STAIRWAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS YOU MEAN A LOT ALOT ALOT TO US YOU VALIDATE WHAT WE HAVE HELD IN HIGHEST REGARD FOR DECADES NOW THAT IS WHY YOU ARE IMPORTANT AND WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the surviving bands members agreed that the band couldn't continue without Bonzo they all knew the band wouldn't be the same without John. Best drummer ever IMO. But of course Neil Peart and Keith Moon are right up there.
This track is just over eleven minutes of 'utter filth'! So good, it's beyond evaluation, a masterpiece! Probably the last piece of music I want to hear before I leave this place. Love your reactions. 🤠
Thanks mate for your reactions..love them.. .have a very merry Xmas and a brilliant New year....with loads of zeppelin.....also loads of other stuff.....rock n roll baby.....❤ xxx
So many people, and even when you look up the lyrics, think he says Georgina, but you and I, along with many other Zep fans, know he's saying "Ja Ja Jesus". Appreciate your input Julie
@@Scoobydcs Actually, you're both right--or wrong, lol. The FIRST time it's "O my Jesus" x7 or whatever. THEN, around 14:30 or so, Robert starts pining "Oh GeorGINA!" a few times. I read somewhere that Maureen, his wife, had demanded to know who this "Georgina" was, heh.I always get this vision of some sexy chick Robert was seeing, who was in the studio behind the glass and he was looking at her with a wink and a nod while singing this to her, but I have no idea.
@brainsqueezereactions Thought you might like to know the actual individual names of the band members of Led Zeppelin for 2024 reactions 😁. Here we go: * Robert Plant - lead singer, harmonica, tambourine. From outside Birmingham. * Jimmy Page - lead guitar, banjo, occasionally back up singer, founder of band, producer of all studio albums, former top session player from London * John Paul Jones (real name John Baldwin) - bass guitar, keyboards, mandolin, recorder, basically any instrument, occasionally back up singer, and arranger of the music. Former session player from London. * John Bonham (RIP) - drums, gong, bongos, cow bell, anything you can hit, occasional backup singer. From outside of Birmingham. * Led Zeppelin - not just the band name but actually the 5th element, the combination of 4 GOAT musicians in which the whole is larger than the sum of the parts. Jimmy Page was all about shade and light. Their songs always showed the contrast.
Ending with Led Zeppy eh!! Say no more!! and your gorgeous face said more than your mouth So glad you didn't die Mark!! Have a fantastic time over Christmas with family Magic as always xxxx 🥁❤🥳😆
Thumbs up to you and thumbs up to Barry from a fellow South Walian 😂. Thanks for listening to my favourite band of all time and your pure gold reactions.
Fuck me, you're doing it!! I have been (as you bloody well probably realize by my name, lol) one of the annoyingly persistent requesters for this reaction! I just had a light dinner and felt virtuous, but now I have milk and cookies to go with this Christmas surprise! OK, now I'ma watch it, just wanted to get this off now and say THANKS!!! I'm sure your brain will be squeezed (expanded?) some by the genius of it, esp. the drums and riffs, which you have always celebrated (properly) in Led Zeppy songs!
This just made my day! No, I'm serious. I know we all have them........but I have had a really SHIT last 24 hours or so, it's freakin' 24 degrees F, with a "feels-like" (wind chill) of 9 degrees F, and it's gonna get down to at least 11 degrees F overnight. I have been having some major stressful internet and tech issues, on top of health issues......so I was really glad to look back to see what I had missed of your vids, and found this! I began to feel better and better while I was watching your reaction! The actual song is hitting me hard, as well, just because....... Well, Well, Well So I can die easy Thanks for the uplift, Sir!
OMG, that's right! Dont think he's experienced THAT Bonham showcase either, lol! Nobody's Fault has some very powerful Bonzo attacks in it as well! And yet he could do the jazzy, gentle, atmospherics of "What is and what should never be" as well...
🤣😂🤣 You are awesome!!! BEST REACTION to this song period!!👊 It's a gift to us all and I'm so happy you got to experience it!!! Thank you for sharing your journey. Also, thanks for the joy and laughs!!🙃 You are a light... keep doing you!!🥰 Merry Christmas to all. Peace, light and love...💞
Mark Hector, I want to thank you for recognizing the genius of Led Zeppelin. I don't care what non-LZ fans say or think, but they were simply the greatest. I have been enjoying this journey with you and look forward to more reactions from you in 2024. Now, I want to add that I think you are the greatest of all reactors on RU-vid, bar none!. That is the truth. You are raw, honest, funny, etc., and your laughter and enthusiasm are so f**ing contagious. And yes, f**k the haters! All the best to you in the New Year.
Now for your own fun, go watch this live version which blows the album version away by about 1000 fold: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QuABqrvhLf0.html
Merry effing Christmas yourself! See you in 2024. That was so fun man. At some point check out the original Bob Dylan Acoustic Song, it's so powerful for just being acoustic come up but yeah I love this.❤
This track is in my top 5 Zeppelin tracks ever. Thank you for the honest and unbridled reactions. It induces the feels we all had the first time. Love it!
It's actually a single kick drum. except for a short period in 1969 John Bonham played single bass drum. this track was recorded in 1975, I'm guessing on his green sparkle or mahogany kit.
Correct, when Bonham passed, they felt there was no replacing him to carry on. There were many Drummers they could have got that would have filled the bill nicely, but none of them were John.
Every time I watch you react to these sweet tunes , I get a big smile and chuckle . I love you Dude.... you're an awesome person that brings levity to the day.
mater youl love achilles last stand too, differnet but similer and equally epic, bonham is a fucking monster in that too and for me its 1 of jimmys best ever solos, its haunting and just grabs your soul!
Great reaction, it is amazing to watch you react to these songs that I first heard when I was in my teens, about 40+ years ago. Keep going there is a shed load of stuff to get into that noggin of yours! If you like bass and drums you would have a field day with The Who! Merry Christmas! 😊
Sorry Mark, I didn't catch that... did you mention something about this being EPIC...?? Hahaha. It is just a bit special isn;t it... and I love that they left the last piece in and Robert changed "day" to "Cough".... A band in so much harmony. And having the time of their lives. Oh yes... Consider me going and f..king myself... AS INSTRUCTED. I hopw Santa is good to you and that the new year is all you want it to be... Iwill be here for what ever you throw at us.... Keep on Rocking..
This was our norm. Watching the new generation reacting to this and knowing what they are going through while their brain process the genius they are hearing...it brings even more value to what a time we grew up in.
I ’m born in 1970 and I listen in my Walkman physical graffiti when I’m go to work in the bigining of 90 and I love this song. Thank for your reaction.
Mate. I think you're ready for Achilles Last Stand live on Knebworth, august 1979. In that reaction I can guarantee you won't even fucking believe that shit was played LIVE. Led Zep really were the Hammer of the Gods!
Love ur comments mark.plz keep on down the rabbit hole of led zep. Fooling in the rain/ the crunge/ bron ur stomp.just a few.you bring me back to my youth.love it.
Greetings from Southwest Texas 🇺🇸 Seasons Greetings Happy Holidays Epic reaction X3 🥁💥🪘🔥🥁💥🪘🔥🥁💥🪘🔥 Thank you for reminding me of the past in with music you have lifted my spirits when I've been in hard time keeping on this fantastic journey 👌👍
😂😂😂😂So stressed, excited, violent, vulgar, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK .....😂😂😂😂😂YOU'RE CRAZY BRO...., BUT I LIKE THAT👍Peace from France ✌️Merry FUCKING christmas😂😂😂😂😂
"and you will hear me roar... hit with two sticks". Ironic that you should say that! now react to Led Zeppelin's FOUR STICKS, the song named after John Bonham's drumming technique.
Yo bro must be really Be really into this song cause the cat caught your tongue. All good, my brother just playing keep it up man, keep staying on that zeppelin journey
Thank you Hector! Bonzo is easily the GOAT of drummers! This song is probably my Favorite Zeppelin song! You have yourself a wonderful christmas and a happy new year!
You’re all right Brain Squeeze. I’m the old school and grew up with all this music. We were kids when all this started. I’m going to recommend one of The Absolute Best bands you will ever hear. World famous for 45 years plus, loved by millions, so this is not just my opinion. You will see, you will understand. You are going to get around to them anyway, so I thought I’d give you this Christmas present. The band is RUSH. Highly skilled, highly creative, highly badass. The drummer was considered to be the best in world by fans and other musicians especially drummers. The other guys are unbelievable too. Most reactors who start with them watch the official music video of Tom Sawyer. It’s the band in a studio recording and filming. This is an excellent introduction because you can see the band up close playing. It’s a fairly small room they are in so you see all 3 of them very well and the song is fantastic too. Phenomenal live band! Just so you know, LED ZEPPELIN is my favorite band and I’ve been singing those songs for DECADES! I know what I’m talking about, I was there! You WILL hear about RUSH eventually or you will hear about them right now. 😁👍 Merry Christmas! 🎄
OK, in the middle now, and you're begging for mercy already, lol! "Stopit! Just stopit!" For God's sake, isn't anybody going to help this poor man? He's being assaulted with a...LEDLY weapon..
I just loved watching you react to this song,... knew it would blow you away!! I bet you are a firecracker in the sack....lol 😉🤭. Sorry I have no filter... Merry Christmas!!!
Hector saw you react to this the first 10 mins you put it on. Amazing band. Been a fan of zeppelin since i was 12-13 years old. 57 now . But please for your fans by the end of January you need to watch this live from earls court 1975 . And see if you can handle that. You can’t. You won’t . its a challenge on its own from me to you . Im normal Hector i think . And this song live takes you to another place .And you will get stuck in some sort of whirl pool. Until your allowed out . Merry Christmas Hector . Keep up the Reactions. Thing is with Zeppelin mate . Its all good in my eyes. But some songs might not be as good to some . But even there not that bad either .
