The students of the Rochester School of Rock performing "The Rover" by Led Zeppelin when they opened for the School of Rock AllStars at Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, MI July 22, 2016.
I'll second that! I couldn't believe how well they pulled it off! Other than it being a girl singing it(she did a fantastic job btw), I'd swear it was Zeppelin I was listening to! I was a little kid, maybe 8 when I first heard it shortly after it's release. That HEAVY guitar riff is the one that stayed in my head all these years and I remember my Dad, sister and I were on our way to the drive-in one warm sunny Saturday evening when it came on the radio. I played it for him this year, but he doesn't recall the song. I knew all along it was Led Zeppelin, but never knew what song it was and never heard it on the radio. A few years ago, my buddies cover band did it so I was finally able to find out what it was and have listened to probably 100 times since! Funny how I can't remember what I did yesterday, but I can recall the first time I heard many songs and where I was at when I heard them after 50+ years! LOL!
Spot on, Can you imagine leaving this Earth knowing you left something like Led Zeppelin behind. Talk about leaving evidence of your existence here on this planet
@@MidWestConcertVideo2 O M G - these kids brought tears to my eyes ! Wonder if they understand the the deep meaning of this song ( there will Never , Ever be a better band than Led Zeppelin )
For these young people to play & appreciate Led Zeppelin’s music brought a smile to my face! They got into the song big time! The bass player is BA! Love it
That was incredible!! I went to a "School of Rock" Led Zeppelin show once here in Cincinnati and they forgot to blow the whistle during "Fool in the Rain" and I'll never forget that.
Just fire, the drums were nice and loud but would love to turn the BASS UP, the bass really drives this song, what I could hear was solid, ROCK THAT BASS!
Is it possible music will ever again be for real as shown here….i now feel there is at least a chance…possibility …God knows it’s not for record sales anymore…has to be from the heart and soul…that’s has to be enough
Fab job! Drum and bass had the beat nailed down. The L.P. brothers were great,,and little miss rocker surprised everyone,,and blew the doors off the joint! I saw that small statured girl,,and thought to myself, this song is gonna be too big for her,,and I was dead wrong.
Eveyone so talented and so cool. Good guitars and bass, especially she sounds like JPJ. Heavy dr and cute high tone vo make the band really great one. 55 years old man watching many times in JAPAN.
