Led Zeppelin! They are another one of my favorite bands! Just as The Beatles were important in the 1960's, Led Zeppelin were just as important in the 1970's. And just like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin did not do a bad song.

Amen- LZ, Stones, Who, Deep Purple, Queen, Rush, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Foghat, ZZ Top, the great southern rock bands, etc, etc. Nothing like the 70’s era of rock, before or since!

I know this is an older reaction, but my first time seeing you, anything from this band is amazing. There might be a couple songs that aren’t your favorites, but everything else you will love. I hope I see more reactions of Led Zeppelin from you, enjoy.

i HAVE A CONCERT DVD CALLED PAGE AND PLANT UNLEDDED AND THEY PLAY A LOT OF LED ZEPPELIN SONGS with AN egyptian ORCHESTRA and ladies FROM ENGLAND WHO PLAY violins AND CHELOS AND it's A GREAT CONCERT DVD

Jimmy PAGE is A GREAT guitarist AND ROBERT PLANT WAS A GREAT Singer AND SADLY THE GREATEST DRUMMER in THE WORLD JOHN (Bonzo) BONHAM died from ALCOHOL ABUSE in 1980 AND THE LATE GREAT JOHN LENNON AND THE original singer BON SCOTT OF AC/DC ALL died in 1980 AND THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT music died 😔

@@christopherone1 it gets a bit confusing for non-musicians. Jimmy “wrote” the music…..the melody…for the guitar. It involved a whole different tuning for the instrument and is a bear to learn. AFI eat Plant was the lyricist for Zeppelin after the first album. Jones, in addition to bass/keyboards/mandolin, was also a great arranger, and I believe, he added the string parts to the song. Collaboration all around. But the general rule of thumb:after Zep I and 2……Jimmy invented the riffs, the exotic tunings……and Robert wrote the lyrics. This is fact…..according to Jimmy and Robert.

I know he wrote “Thank you” for Maureen. However, the melody for Rain Song was composed by Jimmy after George Harrison made a remark about Zeppelin not having any ballads. So Jimmy basically said “hold my beer” and came up with this luscious composition. Lyrics by Plant. Don’t think it’s for Maureen however……it’s not a happy song…..
