Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I have been reading the complaints on Ledger and Trezor. It seems they both have a magnitude of problems in downloads with wallets, coins, and system failures uploads. Pretty scary
Hi @TheScottishPainter, While hiding an NFT voucher in Ledger Live is a good first step, it's understandable that you'd like to avoid them showing up in your transaction history altogether. While completely stopping airdrops is unfortunately not possible with the current design of the blockchain, there are some additional measures you can take: a) Investigate the source: If you know the project that airdropped the voucher, you can research its legitimacy and reputation. If it appears untrustworthy, consider reporting it to Ledger support to raise awareness. b) Manage notifications: Disable notifications for NFT transactions in Ledger Live settings. This won't stop the vouchers from appearing in your history, but it will prevent them from popping up as notifications. c) Filter your transaction history: In Ledger Live, you can filter your transaction history to only show specific types of transactions (e.g., sends, receives) or specific accounts. This can help you hide the unwanted airdrop entries while still viewing your normal transactions. d) Report malicious vouchers: If you suspect any airdropped voucher might be malicious (e.g., containing suspicious links or requiring interaction), report it to Ledger support immediately. Do not interact with the voucher in any way. e) Consider future airdrops: You can adjust your privacy settings on some platforms and exchanges to opt out of receiving airdrops altogether. However, be aware that this might also prevent you from receiving legitimate airdrops in the future. Here are some additional resources that you might find helpful: Ledger Support page on avoiding NFT voucher scams: support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/13209024862621-Avoiding-NFT-Voucher-Scams Ledger Support page on handling malicious or unknown NFTs: support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/6857182078749-How-to-handle-malicious-or-unknown-NFTs Remember, the most important thing is to avoid interacting with any airdropped voucher that you are unsure about. Always do your research and exercise caution before clicking any links or interacting with the NFT in any way. I hope this information helps!
Hi I bought a ledger nano x through your link and received a faulty nano that wouldn't connect past bluetooth step and after getting intouch with paypal was told this company is under investigation for all similar claims, its no good
That's why your seed phrase is the most precious thing to you. Does not matter if you lose your ledger, buy a new one, restore your phrase on the new device and transfer to a new wallet to be safe.
@@lewis8983 oh i see. So if i lose my hardware wallet like a ledger or trezor i wont lose my crypto? Do i just buy a new hardware wallet and type in my seed phrase and my crypto will be there?
I am having difficulty transferring crypto from coinbase to the Ledger nano X. I have transferred many times with no problems. Can someone tell me what I many be doing wrong?
There is a way to do exactly what you're trying to do. Below is a link that can help you. If it's still not working, there could be a technical issue either on Ledger's or Coinbase's end, so we'd recommend trying to get in touch w/them to see what the issue is. @@surendrashekhawat4155 better avoid, this company had data breach recently, which allowed hackers to phish keys ...... Safepal S1 and cobovault are 100% offline air gapped hardware wallets
u need to install different apps from the ledger marketplace to create wallets in the device. you can install 100 such apps thereby storing 100 different types of coins and tokens.
NICE VIDEO..... I HAVE BEEN TRADING FOR MONTHS NOW. I KEEP M1AKING MORE LOSS TRADE WRONG COINS PLEASE I NEED SOME KIND OF ASSIST OR ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO
No wallet stores coins, instead they manage a private key to perform cryptographic signing operations on the coins that are distributed on the network. Any wallet can be recovered if you have a copy of the private key, which is usually presented in the form of a recovery phrase. Any reputable wallet walks you through this during the setup process
If you're my prof, i would understand every mathematical problem you throw at me :) i watched how to buy eth, and now since you mentioned in that vid about ledger nano x, here i am now, amazed by the 2 mins tutorial!
Ledger might not be safe! What would you say if I told you that all keys that we believe are our personal keys, I mean the 24 words that we confirm during setting a new ledger, are actually given by the ledger company, and therefore, all keys are saved in sets in the hands of the ledger company. We don't have the option to create our own words while setting the ledger, which means that the given words are a combination of predetermined words, and thus, might not be safe to rely on these as private keys. I can trust hardware wallets only if I can create and/or write my own 24 words; the 24 words of my own choice and will; these can be even non-words, I mean invented words with no meaning actually.
I have the nano x and hate it. I have to hire someone to load it if I purchase. Now with the virus....so .... costs me eighty bucks to load crypto to it each time.
What would be a safer option then Ledger Nano then?? If Ledger the company wanted to steal your funds, you would have heard about it by now. They wouldn't ruin their reputation and get sued when they are already making a lot of money selling their devices....that wouldn't make sense. They wouldn't create office space, a manufacturing facility, job opportunities and a reputation all for nothing, just to go to jail. Ledger would rather you hold your funds with their devices then put it on an exchange or give it to a bank. This level of technology you're talking about probably isn't achievable right now for a small device like the Ledger Nano. Because there isn't any other hardware wallets that can do this that I know of. Maybe in the future though.
Maybe Im being silly but if my 25 words are guessed, would my crypto not be stolen? I know this is insanely unlikely but if someone had some form of supercomputer constantly trialling 100s of combinations every second would this not be a possibility?
If your words were guessed, yes, your coins could be stolen. It is indeed unlikely, but the scale on the unlikelihood is hard to comprehend without delving into the maths. If your supercomputer was able to check a quintillion keys per second, it would apparently still need 3 170 979 198 376 458 650 431 253 170 979 198 376 458 650 431 253 170 years to check all the possible Bitcoin keys to an address.
Maybe Im not very bright....but it has literally taken me months to set up....Its so confusing & frustrating...ive had to give up after hours of stuffing around, put it away & dread coming back to it to attempt another go at my brand new nano x. Ive had to seek independent crypto guys advice by watching them set it up. When your new to crypto to start off, and trying to learn everything at once, this Nano x is a doosy to master. I have finally got to the stage where I have Bitcoin & Ethereum on the wallet & on my lap top. So thats where Im at now. I still have to work out how to get all my crpto onto it. It has been the most frustrating self taught thing ever, with Zero step by step guide. Deffinately not ADHD ( like myself) user friendly. I can build a house being a Builder but almost smashed this AUD $200 with my hammer. Finally...some success but still not over yet, had to have another break from it, could feel my anxiety level building again.
My brand new ledger nano X which I ordered from ledger website. When I opened it is showed 26 % charge. How it possible a new nano X already partially charged? Is it normal? Or I got a used one. Please help with advise.
I purchased the Nano X directly from Ledger and although it was shipped and received right away, the product was defective. Multiple emails and chats later and still no representative has contacted me with regard to exchanging for a “working” product. No phone number to call. Just email correspondence that is ignored.
I bought the nano x and the setup was simple. When I tried to connect the Bluetooth, it would not send Bluetooth signal. I followed the ledger reset procedure with no success. I have made several attempts to email ledger support with no success. If you purchase this item expect no support if it doesn’t work!
Hi @Ameer Hamza, If your Ledger device is broken, don't panic! You can still access your funds by following these steps: Step 1 - Recover Your Funds Using Your 24-Word Recovery Phrase: This is the most important step. Your 24-word recovery phrase acts as the master key to all your crypto assets stored on the Ledger device. As long as you have this phrase safely stored, you can restore your funds on a new Ledger device or even a compatible software wallet. -> Double-check your 24-word recovery phrase: Ensure you have the correct phrase written down in the correct order. Any mistake in the phrase could lead to permanent loss of your funds. -> Set up a new Ledger Nano device: You can purchase a new Ledger device from the official website or authorized resellers. Follow the setup instructions and choose "restore device" when prompted. -> Enter your 24-word recovery phrase: Carefully enter your 24-word recovery phrase when prompted. The device will then verify the phrase and restore your accounts and funds. Step 2 - Contact Ledger Support: If you're facing any difficulties recovering your funds or have any other questions, contact Ledger support for assistance. They have a dedicated team of experts who can help you troubleshoot the issue and guide you through the recovery process. Here are some helpful resources: a) Ledger Support: support.ledger.com/ b) Ledger Help Center: support.ledger.com/ c) What Happens If I Lose My Ledger?: chainsec.io/lose-access-to-ledger-wallet/ Additional Tips: -> Transfer your funds to a temporary, outside account: If you need immediate access to your funds, consider transferring them to a secure temporary location like a trusted exchange wallet. This will allow you to access your funds while you wait for your new Ledger device or resolve any technical issues. -> Clear the cache in Ledger Live: Sometimes, issues accessing your device can be related to a corrupted cache in Ledger Live. Clearing the cache can sometimes resolve the issue. IMPORTANT -> Do not reset your device without recovering your funds: Resetting your device will erase all data, including your accounts and funds. Ensure you have safely stored your 24-word recovery phrase before resetting your device. Remember, your 24-word recovery phrase is the key to your crypto assets. Keep it safe and secure, and never share it with anyone. I hope this helps!

Hello, thank you for the good video! I synchronized assets to the app and then to the ledger. Now I have a question: is it correct that I cannot see on the hardware (display) how many BTC are on the device?
sorry but nano X is a faulty product, it have serious battery issues and customer support is not replying customers from over 4 months. they know they have faulty products but still they keep on sending it out. absolutely trashy quality of the product and absolute garbage customer support.
these wallet apps you don’t have control over you own keys - this is entirely offline and (has not yet) is considered unhackable. I personally see ledgers as the kind of cash under the mattress crypto equivalent.
If you can’t afford a nano x then you probably shouldn’t be buying crypto currency’s given they are a huge gamble and really shouldn’t gamble money you can’t afford to lose.
Terrible device. After severalhours I'm about 1/2 way through setting it up and can't figure out how to transfer the money over. I've entered my pw about 100 times. Don't waste your money or time on it.
Don't waste your money I thought this was the STATE of the ART device. I was wrong. Their customer service is absolutely pathetic. IF they reply it is a min. of 2-weeks and is a cookie-cutter response of no value. My NanoX's Bluetooth would never pair with my phone and I had to purchase an adapter in order to connect manually to my phone . When sending coins out from NanoX it takes numerous times to get it to sync. Sending a coin like XRP takes a max. of one min between other exchanges or devices ...it takes hours from the Ledger device. I will be throwing this in the trash and buy something reliable- most likely a TREZOR
