Why not remove the index rod while setting this up? Put your die in and adjust for proper case flare and lock into bushing. Add your extension and then add the powder measure and adjust with flared knob to get full powder drop. I believe that's how it works.
The index rod is specific to the Lee Turret press, where the turret that holds the dies turns. He is using a progressive rig, where there is a shell plate that rotates the cases. Much more difficult to disable.
Nun Ya Not true. I have the same rig and it has a removable indexing rod. I can remove the rod and run it just like a single stage, or just manually index.
I got one of these and a cheap cast part broke the second time I used it. Lee sent me a new one and the new one leaks like crazy and gives me erratic throws with even easy to meter powder. I like most Lee stuff, but this was a fail for me,
Not gunna lie I shit my pants at 21:25. Thought the whole building was about to go lmao primer seating always sketchy hahahaha got to 21:15 to relive.. diein! Lol
Have you tried it with unique or trail boss before I invest in one I been using the lee dipper for those powder it don’t do good in my hornady powder measure
