Wow Lee, absolutely beautiful video of your enormous and gorgeous garden, your hard work sure paid off, I love all the grasses in all colours really looks stunning, the rustic water feature is Fab. Well done and thanks for sharing with us. Well done amazing 🤩 xx
WOW!! This was a fantastic video Lee,I loved how you designed the garden as a tribute to your grandads profession,so much hard work but what an end result, each little patch is its own gardenµ climate, just stunning 🤌🏻🌻🐝👏🏼
Thanks Roy! I know it’s been a long time coming just been so bleedin’ busy. Which isn’t a bad thing but I know I’ve not recorded anything in a while! Just to show the real life version of a complete garden makeover one that isn’t just a day in the making!! 🤣🥷🌿😜
Wonderful garden Lee, so good to see how long things took you too, growing everything yourself and waiting patiently. Shows what can be achieved in 4 years xx
So nice of you and thanks for your feedback Eleanor! It’s been a labour of love but worth the patience. Given how much of my tv work is now instant makeovers thought this may balance things out a bit!! All we need now is some good summer weather isn’t it! Hope your garden is well? 🥷🌿🤘
This is beautiful, i could imagine sitting on the grass with a cuppa and a biscuit taking it all in... just love this lee, well done to you... 👌 perfick.. 😄.🌱🌿🌺.x
Thanks Maria. I often take my morning brew out there and just take in the start of the day watching birds dart around and my bee hives slowly come alive each morning! 🐝🌿🤘🥰🥷
Your tribute to Grandad Atom Garden is stunning and inspirational. You've put a lot of thought and planning into your plant selection with amazing results. I love how Barry oversees your work.
Hi Anna. Thanks so much. Barry loves the garden. So many things to sniff and places to take shade. (When we have a summer that is!!) 🤣 It’s nice to remember my wonderful grandad who taught me a lot as a child in this living memorial of sorts! 🥰🥷🌿
Wow! That’s a beautiful garden. Ngl I didn’t think much of it when you started 😁 but instead it has turned out awesome. 😅 I can’t believe I have been watching the channel for 6 years. I remember the video of when you planted the hedge and the various occasional ones where you first explained the design and then showed the progress. Thanks for the update video on the whole project! Now we need one where you WALK around and show the plants in detail. The drone footage is great but we also want a closer look. 😉
Hi Original Ninja!!! Yes it’s a bit surreal seeing what can happen in 6 years and a lot of hard work. That’s what gardening is though. A process. It’s the process we need to try and enjoy rather than an instant or end result. I know with my Garden Rescue work it’s all about instant gardens which isn’t real life. So wanted to show the opposite of what I normally do! The hedge is so established too. It’s nice to demonstrate gardening principles and follow them through rather than instantaneous garden hacks. Appreciate your support as always! Happy gardening. Lee 🥷🌿🤘
Thanks original Ninja Amy! It’s one of my greatest achievements I think. Mainly because I get to enjoy it every day! 🥰🥷🌿 Hope your gardens bringing you joy too!
Oh my goodness Lee, that’s superb! What an unexpected treat to see this tour as it looks now, including all the work that went into it. I came across your channel in Jan 2021, and I remember they kept me company and entertained during that lockdown. Having not seen the garden since then, I was amazed at how it’s looking now!!! So lush and full! It was from you I first saw the ideas of how each border can have its own theme- I was just starting my own garden at the time, and it was fascinating to see your vids just bursting with ideas and info You should be so proud of all your hard work- it looks absolutely exemplary, and a beautiful tribute to your grandad. I hope you’re all busy filming more Garden Rescues- it was a sad day when I realized I’d watched them all 😂😂😂 All the best Ninja, you’re awesome
What a fantastic comment to receive Mahmuda! It’s great to have you in the Ninja community and I’m glad my guides kept you company! I absolutely love my own garden. A lot of hard work and far more naturalistic and relaxed than my usual designs but that suits me. It’s been amazing seeing all the wildlife move in. We have buzzards, hares, moles, foxes and a plethora of different birds. All of which were absent before the garden. Thanks again for your support and kind words. It means a lot and is why I keep doing what I do. I certainly am filming more garden rescue! That’s where I’m off to today! 🥷🌿🤘 Lee
Hi Lee, the garden looks truly amazing. All of you very hard work, love and plant choices have produced so much beauty. The trees and baboons look perfect, you can see how much wildlife you will attract from the tiniest insects, bees and butterflies. You really are an inspirational gardener and I get so much brilliant information from your videos 😀
Thanks so much Julie for the beautiful words and comments on my gardening guides. As you can probably tell gardening and design is my passion. It’s fantastic to be able to share it across the globe and help more people garden with success rather than trial and error! Thanks for joining me on the journey! 🥷🤘🌿
Lee I am so glad that you shared this upload...it's just what I was looking for. I love your attention to detail and your creative thought process. Brilliant that you pay homage to your grandfather and his profession in physics and nuclear energy! Amazing.
Thanks AJ. I thought it about time we had a refresh of the garden. I want to get back into more regular video guides and updates. My work and slide schedules been a bit punishing but will try and work something out. Always great to hear from you Ninjas. You keep me going!! Hope you’re well. Lee 🥷🌿🤘
More skill than luck, of course. I can't express how amazing it is. Formal but fun, wild yet calming, new concept but inspiration from the past. It makes an awkward space look intentional, and it looks good from the sky. Is really has everything.
Hi just watched your gooseberry video I've just bought mine small 2 month ago northern weather grew a bit should I just leave it till next year or cut back in winter for next summer
Hi Martin. I’d just leave it if it’s young until next winter. We’ve had such a wet year as well so giving it a years grace won’t harm it! Make sure you checkout my blog www.gardenninja.co.uk for more free gardening guides and tips! See you there Ninja! 🥷🌿🤘 Lee
Is this the same land that you started a wildlife garden in with the trees and winding mown path 4 years ago? What happened to that one? Did it not work out or is that a separate bit?
Lee!!! Your garden is gorgeous and the original idea of an exploding atom in honour of your grand-dad is touching… congratulations! It’s a beauty!!🌱☘️🌾🌷🪻🌺🌼🌻 🐞🕷️🐜🦋🐝🐌🪲🐝🐝
