Lin Dan really plays at his best when he's against Lee Chong Wei, normally you would never see him being so quick and injecting so much pace in the early rallies. They always provide great badminton

Well, Lee has never won a World Championship or an Olympic Gold. Also, he constantly blames line calls that are correctly called against him: example -- 30:35 and 32:07 Not sure I would call someone like that a GOAT.

I don't have favorite, when it comes to choose between Lin n Lee both players are amazing. I like Lin style of playing and Lee determination and never give up attitude. We will miss you Lee Chong.

First time I've ever seen Lee retire from a match, he has always seemed like the Federer of badminton - invincible to injury and consistent in form. Hope he has a good rest till the Olympics.

Both can play well but I think we have to be fair that lee chong wei faces a greater pressure than lin dan largely because malaysia hardly has any well-known badminton players and he feels that it is his responsibility to make his home country proud. Such a humble and strong-willed player should be given credit. :)

Everyone one focused on the players who brought us a fantastic match, seldom did people give the assistant coach of China ZHONG Bo, where at 40:20 he went over to LEE Chong Wei and was concerned about his injury! That's a thumbs up, what merit!

When I looked at this match, I still can't believe that Lee Chong Wei has improved so tremendously since last year till today. It's great to see him to have reached today's level where Olympic is just few months ahead. It was so obvious that LCW improved superbly that I didn't like his game until last year, I've changed my perspective towards him. He earns biggest respect from me for his persistence, dedication and determination. Best Luck for him ! ;)

Make sure the translator doesn't show up in any of the tournaments for translation...she already did some damage to Lin Dan's name... Somebody could bring this up to BWF's attention and make sure they employ the right people with the right skills for the job

No. She translated the second answer wrong. He said "I HOPE the injury won't affect him too much as he has to represent Malaysia in the Olympics" She said "I DON'T THINK the injury would affect him too much because we will meet in the Olympic games again." Saying "HOPE" is stating a preference for an outcome. Saying "I DON'T THINK" is making a prediction, which to an extent is discrediting LCW's injury. I think you should rewatch it.

I watched LCW's semi final, he was playing against Lee Hyun-il. At that the game, LCW kept smashing because Lee was so stubborn. LCW had no other choices but only stretched more and more.

Lin Dan didnt move around that much in this game. Im positive that Lin Dan also didnt play his best in this game since he knew that Lee Chong Wei was injured.
