I love Taufiks attitude. What ever rally he wins, excellent points he scores. he keeps so cool, silent and no actions. You can see that this attitude even influenced the great Lin Dan.

Taufik never ends. Very very rich in attacks. Although he lost many times recently, he is a legend already.

42:16 I totally agree with the commentator description of how amazing a player LD is. No player could ever drop a racket right in the middle of a rally, taking his eye off the opponen's shot for a moment, recover the racket to return the shot and then went on to win the rally under a tournament match condition, not practice.

Taufik Hidayat has a great character. He is calm,relax and cool and charismatic. For technical, he has no doubt. Because his personality he deserves became the true champion. He is the true champion, no doubt. For physical problem, indeed after 2007 he is turn down..

Previously I watch this with my high school generation ...and now it has been 8years ago...time pass really really fast ... I miss the old time of the most pinnacle era of badminton so much and I really miss this 2 legend .. The 4 king of badminton era was over ...is feel hard to find a new legend in badminton like them in the future ..

Taufik Hidayat prime is 1999-2007, on his prime the head to head between him and LD and LCW is 3-2, and 7-2. LD prime is 2008-2014. Unfortunetly Taufik still play until 2013 he retired. If seper series era begin earlier i think Taufik could achieve alot of achievement than anybody. Fortunetly, super series era begin in LD and LCW prime, thats why both of them won so many trophy. For example, In TH prime, WC held every 3 and then 2 years, but since 2007 WC held every year 😆

Taufik is effortlessly badminton player, so many controversy in his personal life... but still he is the best as a natural badminton player ever. Look his cool playing style and his foot work, even we can see when he shoot the shuttle ... cool, if he has good fitness train and less controversy as PG, LD and LCW. May he can compete much better than what we can saw in the past.

I love the fact that the female commentator knew facts about Taufik (almost like she was fangirling) like his hours of training and his knee problem, also his charity works. Also I love their discussion about the challenges of older players have to endure.

Everytime I feel the need to be inspired on the topic on backhand plays, I come back to this game and rewatch Mr. Backhand at work. btw. I think the desperation backhand clear by Taufik during the altercation that starts at 19:56 is one of the most crazy backhand shots. Totally out of position and outplayed he clears it to the other backline... how is this even possible, CRAZY

Entahlah. Gua pikir Lin Dan tu sebenernya yakin bisa menang lebih cepet kalau mau maen agresif. Tapi pertandingan dengan Taufik Hidayat terlalu berharga untuk dilewatkan begitu saja. Semacam ingin nostalgia masa muda mungkin. Wkwk I believe that Lin Dan knows that he could win faster if he played aggresively. But he may thought that playing with Taufik is too precious, he should enjoy the game. Its kind of nostalgic.

I am so sick of people saying which badminton player is better or which one is worst.Different player have different value as they were born in different time to follow different trend of badminton.And the value of them is different to every single one of us.Some people even judge at how good they are by just looking at who won and who lose.(not a gd standard to follow.).And every single match is different at every single point.Some people even critize some player when they aren't even a real professional player.Also they are not qualified enough to judge too.Of course you can leave a comment to tell others who is your favourite player.But plz stop critize other because they have different opion with you.At last please those hater stop critizing the professional player when you aren't even a real one.(if you think that you are qualified to judge...why don't you go on the badminton court and play the world champ/Olympic yourself?)
