Fastest match won so far by Dato' Lee Chong Wei in year 2016 at Round 2 (R32) of the BWF Victor Far East Malaysia Masters Tournament. His opponent was Kantawat Leelavecabutr from Thailand.
When you only watch finals all the time and you find it boring and looks easy because of the super fluid footwork and high quality attack and defense and also the slow strategic pacing. Then you watch a one-sided match and then you realize how polished are the finalists.
LCW is just letting this young player know that he needs to work really hard to reach where Lee is today. In no way one should feel that LCW is bullying. We all feel we are so good a player unless someone whacks us .it is a wake up call and a benchmark to let a player know how much effort he will need to add to compete world class opponents. It needs courage to face a legend and all praise for this young talent to put up a good show. He knew today he walked away happy with some good lessons for future no coach would be able to teach..
After looking at this match I just can't imagine how good you have to be beat LCW and Lin Dan does it time and time again. The kid looks like a pretty good national level player but LCW made him seem like a beginner who just started learning how to play few days or months back.
Hi. dan&jas Thank you for giving us great chance to watch the good video. May I use your video with your credit? I will leave your channel name in the video and description. ☺️
So much things to learn from this..lucky dude....& most importantly It's an achievement to share the court with LCW...That kid will cherish this experience for the rest of his life....
my god look at that footwork...chong wei moves so fluently and so smooth....when the thai player did the double flick chong wei`s body doesn't even reach to that... it's amazing..any Malaysian want to be a world no1...mark that footwork to reach that kind of level...unbelievable from our national hero.
The kid only drops or smashes when he is in the back. WHY? I think I saw only one time he clears in this 6-minute footage. Plus his smash never worked? Perhaps they work a few times which were not shown here. But I mean, you are basically giving charity to a legend.
I think this is not bullying at all. He walked around all the time in R64 Canada Open or against that Japanese man in thomas cup (casual backhand) but LCW kind of showing his class to this young man, what an experience
As least he put some more good work in the second round or game. It's actually a great idea to play against good players because then people can work harder and get the idea how they play and using it against others.
The boy knew he was going to lose. The boy also knew that it's an honor to play against once of the greatest badminton player of all time. So the boy lose and won something.
In this comment section everyone saying the same thing that blue one's need much more practice. But dude see who was his opponent. He is also playing well at his level. And is not everyone cup of tea to reach that level even after a lot of practice.
Lee is like a 32-wheeler truck whereas Kantawat was just a bicycle. Lee could have ended this match in 15 minutes, destroying Kantawat so badly that he'd be emotionally scarred for the rest of his life, but instead Lee allowed Kantawat to have his moments. That's what makes LCW not only a legend of the game, but also an endearing one. Never have I seen him show an unprofessional attitude on court. If Lin Dan brought popularity to badminton, LCW brought grace and beauty to the game. You never get tired of watching his fluidity and tricks.
Can someone explain why LCW did so well against the kid? Was he just hitting faster shots or more strategic shots? I’m new and it looked so easy on his part.
@@limjin2921 not everyone is privileged enough to have a good English education like you, get off your high horse. The main audience for badminton is southeast Asia, you can't expect everyone to have perfect English from everyone, and as far as spelling mistakes go, one letter isn't bad at all. Stop being rude and talking shit on the internet.
LD and LCW They both are growing up on the court together, meeting on the court too much , so they know each other really well with the playing style ,movement , and some more LD no doubt really really a strong player against LCW , and one last thing is LD got better mentality compare to LCW .
LCW is trying all tricks. The boy must definitely have learnt a lot from this game. He can be proud of LCW's opponent. He should first learn from this to be cool like Lee all the time, through out.
Wei Jie he doesn't lack anything. LCW is simply out of his league. Kantawat looks like a decent player at national level. LCW, on the other hand, is #1 international champion. There's a saying I really like: you are only as good as your team. And I don't think they're many teams in the world have players at LCW caliber to train with. Also I think because you are used to watching LCW plays with other super players at his level, so this doesn't look familiar. But this is how it really looks like if LCW plays with any players out of top 30 BWF ranking.
MASTERCLASS, someone who mastered those skills and tons of exp.. the rookie is in growing process.. i also didnt expect he can keep up with Lee.. its good lesson for him
