I LOVE this man and his music, ESPECIALLY THIS SONG! In 1984, it got so much play time and I was loving it then. I've probably listened to it at least a few hundred times, and I can point out his original over the repeated recordings of it. It's a tiny little thing that you will hear in the music video. I still tear up over this song. I thought Detroit and Houston was perfect to complete the "4 corners".
God Bless The U.S.A. Is my all time favorite song. I saw you perform live twice. Once in Nashville and once a few years ago in Daytona Beach. I brought a picture of you and I from Nashville in 94 that you politely signed. I also brought my son who was 14 at the time and the 3 of us took a photo together. Which now hangs on his bedroom wall. Thank you Lee Greenwood you’re a stand up American. God Bless the U.S.A. 🇺🇸
