I'm a biker, and every year, there is a memorial ride, for Lee Rigby, to woolwich barracks , hundreds of bikers take part, it's always on the anniversary of Lee's death, I've been on a couple of the rides, over the years, all money made each year , from the ride, goes to families of lost servicemen.
There’s something about bikers, they’re always willing to help if you break down on the road and always willing to do a charity ride and Santa ride outs at x.mas..
This sickened me when it first happened and it still sickens my today, more so to see people just casually walking by like it was an every day occurrence! I cannot put into words of how I feel about those 2 species so I shall say nothing. Rest in peace Lee ❤
They buried his death due to politics, it had far less attention due to it upsetting the fairy man in the sky people. His name should be remembered always.
They didn't casually walk by. The road was closed. Many went to Lee's assistance. He was still alive. He didn't die quickly. Others who stood by as the suitably-hued pieces that killed him were ranting were scared because the suitably-hued pieces were still armed and could have done the same to them.
Living in Rochdale we always remember Fusilier Rigby. Every year there is a motorbike cavalcade to remember him and involves many bikes and people. Thank you for covering this so sympathetically Paul xxx
And yet the muslim council feigned outrage while having his monument moved as it was offensive to them so now a bench at a graveyard God bless our hero
Hi Paul , I am an x military wife so I know the fear and worry you go through when they have to go away for long periods its a job. I know his family would have felt the same way , but for them to have to go through this in that way is horrendous. R.I.P Lee & thank you for your service to this country ,this country will never allow you to be forgotten . Thank you Paul as always 👉
I cannot believe those two vile piece's of excrement are still wasting oxygen. If a time the uk should have brought back capital punishment then that would have been the right time to do so.R.I.P Fusillier Lee Rigby...WILL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN...
I remember this like it was yesterday, when I seen it on the news I felt sick, it makes my blood boil what they done to this poor man. The sentences they got was just deserved, always interesting to see their final resting place so thanks as always Paul. RIP Lee.
Massive respect to Fusilier Lee Rigby, from my hometown of Middleton Manchester. Thank you Paul for yet another very sensitive and very well done tribute video to Lee. I remember that day he died very well. Fusilier Lee Rigby Rest In Peace.
What angers me is all these virtue signalling overpaid footballers took the knee for a career criminal 4000 miles away. They should have been taking the knee for Lee Rigby! But what happened on our streets that day has been airbrushed by authorities. We will never forget you Lee RIP 🙏 ♥️
Such an awful thing to happen to a young man serving his country. I will never understand why someone would do this. Makes me very sad that this happens in the UK
Such a sad loss. RIP Lee Rigby. Thank you for your service. You sign up knowing it might happen, hoping it doesn't, but to have it happen on home soil....unbelievable. Thank you Paul.
Remember when this happened. Was all over the news could not understand how a human could do this to another human being. It was awful poor guy. R.I.P Lee Rigby
This one is close to my heart. One of my partner's daughters (Emma) is a good friend of Lee's widow (Becky) and went to their wedding. I've a lot of respect for anyone who has served in the armed forces and his untimely death was unnecessary. 25 is no age to die.
In Australia, in the news, I was shocked to see such a disgusting crime. To think it's nearly 10 years, it doesn't feel that long ago. However He is obviously not forgotten, as when his name popped up, here, I was taken back to ABC, news. My condolences To his family and friends Not to be forgotten. God bless you all!
May Lee rest in peace. A young man with his whole life ahead of him back in 2013 just going about his daily business like we all do. Thanks for sharing his final resting place with us.
How something as horrific as this young soldiers murder should be able to happen in broad daylight is unbelievable. Our streets are not safe. Thank you for another beautifully covered video. Rest in power Lee Rigby.
Woolwich Barracks was our Regiment RoYal Artillery Barracks up until 2007. When we heard what happened on that awful day we was shocked that a soldier got brutally murdered on his way back to barracks. Having walked up that road many times. Seeing that video where Lee crossed the road and what happened next was shocking. We felt for Lynn, Ian, Jack, Lees Son, and the family. RIP Lee
I'm an ex fusilier (1st battalion) and I've lost friends in action in Northern Ireland. As sad as those events were they were part of the job. We knew the risks and it could have been any of us but this? The day of Lee's funeral I was in the local gym and it was broadcast live on the multitude of TV screens. I was in tears. People looked at me as if I mad but unless you wear the uniform you can never really understand. Friends of ours lost their son in Afghanistan in 2010 and it tore their world apart. They are both gone now but the absolute agony of losing their child turned his mother to drink and his father into a grief stricken zombie. They are now at peace. Lee's family have this for the rest of their lives. I'm not religious but if anything can be done to ease their pain I sincerely hope they find it. My respect to Lee's family because the fusiliers are not just a regiment they are a family.
Remember the day this happened....my husband was in the forces and this was one of my fears or military police knocking my door...lee had his whole life infront of him and these monsters took it away...💔
Absolutely heartbreaking what happened to Lee Rigby. Sometimes this world is just cruel. Thank you Paul for showing respect for someone that was taken too young and love to the family of Lee Rigby
It's disgusting that a young man lost his life doing the job he loved. He had a wife and family and friends I have nothing but respect for him, his family and friends. May h we R.I.P 🙏❤️🌹
I remember feeling physically ill, as I watched and listened to this piece of news, back in 2013... Another intentional, senseless murder by two twisted individuals, supposedly practicing "The Religion of Peace"... My utmost respect to Fusilier Lee Rigby. R.I.P. young man...💜
Absolutely heartbreaking, he was a year younger than me, can't imagine what he's been through, thank you for your service brave man, my heart goes out to everyone that knew him 💙
Another heart breaking watch . It seem like yesterday this happened. He was so young with his whole life to live . He has a beautiful resting place and the bench .Paul you do these with so much care and respect and trying to tell their stories with out making it about the people who do this kind of stuff . You find the perfect balance .
This was so shocking when it happened and totally barbaric. I cannot imagine what his family went through and no doubt still are. My sympathies go to them. Massive respect and thanks to Lee for his service and sacrifice. Thanks Paul for another tough vlog done with dignity. Hope it never happens again though.
I can never forget this horrible crime. A gentleman who witnessed this later committed suicide because of it. May Fusilier Rigby rest in peace, and those who love him be comforted.
I was in the armed forces from 88 until 97. Lee Rigby’s murder really struck home and was of course absolutely horrific. May he rest in peace. Very respectfully done as always Paul and it is very clear that your sentiments are ones that mean a lot to you. Well done mate. 💙
Have to say, this channel is a great concept and idea, we shouldnt forget so many of the people who died, from great old comics like spike milligan to the young tragic moors murders victims. All done so respectfully. Great job.
a very sad and tradgic end to Lee, s life when he had everything to live for ,like you said he had friends and family and was proud to do whatever it took to defend his country, but his life was tragically cut short by two I,m going to say evil people, massive respect to you for the tact and courteous way that you produced this video,
So beautifully done as always Paul. Remember this so clearly and, you're right, this shouldn't happen on our streets, especially two cowards like them Thank you
Oh my, so horrendous this violent crime. Perpetrators so cruel and deserve their sentences. An innocent soldier innocently walking into a act of sheer horror ending Lees life. Ricocheted such feelings of disbelief and unbelievable sadness throughout everyone. The fact is this was totally out of the blue and waited for him . Cowardly act of murder. Two against one with weapon of immense power. Lee served as a respectful honourable soldier and did not deserve this. Hope they know what they did. They are never to be released as dangerous individuals for certain . RIP Lee Rigby. Your memory lives on. Thank you so very much for your service. The pain of such magnitude to your family relatives friends and army colleagues must of been extremely painful. May they know our country is proud of Lee for what he achieved. Even Muslim Leaders sympathised, we should be able to listen and respect one another. So tragic. Paul I commend you for your kind words about Lee, should never of happened. Thank you so very much. Kindest regards.
I saw this particular incident Paul as it unfolded on the news. Shocking as it was then, I still feel shocked at this young man's loss of life just doing what he loved to do. I was ok watching this video Paul until you crouched down by Lee's graveside, and as I type this to you now, the tears are still flowing. I remember his young son pictured holding up a framed photograph of his Dad.....Lee it broke my heart to see this young lad with a look on his face that said "why my dad" Thanks Paul for another sentimental video, expertly portrayed as always with dignity and respect. God bless you mate. RIP young Lee, sadly taken way too soon and now at peace.
Thankyou Paul for sharing this video my heart goes out to Lee's family, Lee was only doing his job unfortunately he was at the place at the wrong time sadly lost his life. always loved by his family and friends a true hero rest in peace 🙏 🪦 x
Ive watched a lot of your videos lately since discovering your channel but this one had me in tears. Tears of utter sorrow but also of rage. I cant write what i think of the cowardly filth that did this. Id like to thank you for such a respectful and touching tribute to this poor young man. Let us never forget Lee Rigby RIP
Hello Paul,A very fitting and respectable tribute.It.was an absolute tragedy. Your video perfectly encapsulates this and the trauma and grief his family and friends will forever feel.
Thankyou Paul for bringing us this grave …it was so heartbreaking what happened to him …as a mother of a former soldier serving in Iraq …it’s just so Awful to think this could happen 🥲💔
I remember this too well. Such a horrific incident. I used to work in the area where he was murdered. I could never forget this day or in the days that followed Lees death. It's something I'd never like to see again ever. no person should ever have to go the way Lee did. Thank you Lee. You didn't deserve to go the way you did. massive respect for your commitment to keeping our country safe. RIP mate Well done Paul for doing this ✌️
You really are in my area Paul, Lee lived just behind my parents on the Langley Estate in Middleton, such a tragedy who. My parents are also buried in that cemetery.
Hi Paul, I just love your channel it brings to the forefront people who have passed away famous or non famous. I was so impressed at the dignified way you presented Lee Riby's grave, and how you remained calm and non-judgemental that must have been extremely hard to keep your thoughts to yourself.
Hi Paul … firstly I can’t believe 10 years has passed , I remember the news of this horrible attack to a young man serving ,bravery for his county . Beautiful bench,& gravehead, RIP Lee Rigby. And up north has rain, and we are so dry in the midlands with a hose pipe Ban.!!!
I will never forget this day .saw it live .It was heartbreaking that poor boy .I kept wishing I was there to help him rest now Lee. And thanks for your service.. Also thanks for this video .he be proud xxxxx
Thanks for this video mate and well done for finding his grave. Was so awful what happened to him and he was so young also with a great job and he is missed by fellow soldiers and his family and touched us all and shocked us it doesn't seem as long ago as that but how time flies. Let's just hope nothing like this happens again to anyone
Absolutely heartbroken that an amazing man can be taken from us in such a horrific way. Your respect and love Lee Rigby will always be remembered. Thank you Paul x
I remember this like it was yesterday. Truly devastating....that poor man. His family...bless them...the 2 mad men that commited this crime should never be released......Again Paul. Respectfully done. Thankyou..
RIP Lee you fought ,and stood tall in your duty for our country...l thank you for that! Still so shocking to this day, that you died from the hands of these of these 'people' :( You will never be forgotten.........Thank you Paul for visiting he's resting place. Love to he's family. xx RIP
A moving tribute to a brave man who was taken away in shocking and evil circumstances.. Thankyou for stating Lee was murdered - he was not killed it was a deliberate and evil action by someone else.I always complain if the MSM ever state Lee Rigby was 'killed' he wasn't! Nobody will ever forget this fine person taken so cruelly from those he loved.RIP....
Ten years ago. OMgosh seems like only a few years not ten. We will never forget Lee or his family. To sad to forget. Thank you for remembering him with respect.
After watching your video on Sarah Payne, I had a flick through and saw that you did one on Lee Rigby. I knew who this young man was instantly, as I have thought about Lee often over the past 10 years. Ten years later I’m still totally shocked that this type of horrific crime happened. I was sickened then and I’m just as sickened now. Poor Lee was not in a foreign country fighting a war, he was in what should have been the comfort of his home land. I for one am not the type to say I forgive you, especially for this type of crime. This 53 yr old woman would like to rip them to shreds. I hope they get what they deserve for this as for Lee, he is now at peace with his maker. Thank you 🙏 for sharing Lee’s resting place with me. ❤️ Jodie from down under 🇦🇺
Although I couldn't recall his name in the first place, but just after a few seconds when the video started, I knew immediately who he was. To be honest, can't even imagine, it already happened more than (almost) 10 years ago....time (& life) flies. Greetings & P.E.ace from overseas The Netherlands.
That was such a sad day. You when they are shipped out for a tour of duty to other countries you sort of except a death even though it’s hard to take in, but not in our own streets. One of the men who was spouting off about a life for a life sorry but if that was me I’d have shot him stone dead, now that’s a life for a life. Thank you so much for this can’t believe it’s almost 10 years. Thanks again your doing a great job. Jeannie
I worked at HM Tower of London for many many years. I would see Lee sometimes walking past on his way to or from one of the buildings within the fortress and would always be smiling
Poor, young soldier. I was absolutely horrified when this happened. Such a dreadful loss for his loved ones knowing how he was taken from them. Rest in eternal peace, Lee. You will never be forgotten. 🇬🇧🌹 Thank you Paul for another very respectful video. 👍
