As you watch the press operation you can see a lot of flex. That flex is all in the plate and not the Bench. I have a Inline Fabrication plate I will be changing over to and hope that illuminates the flex. It dose not affect the way the press operates, just my OCD😉👊🇺🇸
Thanks for the video! Your bench looks sturdy, so yes it must be the Lee plate. I have a Lee Turret and a Classic Cast bolted to Inline plates and mounts and they don't move at all. I ordered a Six Pack Pro press as soon as it was back in stock at Titan Reloading. Looking forward to start making ammo with it.
Operation looks really smooth. The old bullet feeder on the pro1000 is almost useless i never did get it to work and went back to set the bullets by hand. I have 3 Pro1000's and there a little finicky all ways have watch every stroke of the handle. The set up of the press looks pretty easy also.
does the priming system seem to be pretty trouble-free? I have a Pro 1000 and I can't stand using it because the gravity feed priming system sucks. I've tried all the recommended fixes.
I have ran 10,000 plus rounds with this press and have had only a couple primer issues and that was my own fault with not paying attention to how many primers I had left in the tray. Priming on this press has been a true pleasure 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊👍🇺🇸
This press seems to work just as good as my dillion 650. My dillon is a smidge faster and a bit better on shell plate flex but costs quite a bit more. Unfortunatly she is sitting idle right now. I refuse to pay anywhere near what they want for primers. Good vid and she keeps you happy.
Hello Jon, thanks for stopping by and watching Brother. I truly appreciate the support 😊. This is my 1st progressive press, and I'm very pleased with the overall quality of ammo production this press makes. It sure does suck of the cost for components. Primers are still overpriced for sure. Fingers crossed that in the near future, prices drop on all reloading components🤞. My inventory is good for now, but that won't last, so I've had to adjust on how much I shoot. Thanks again, Brother 👊👍🇺🇸
I do not agree with comparison. I own both. Although Dillon 650 priming system has a lot to be desired, it is better than and more reliable than the Six Pack Pro.
I have been running 400 - 450 rounds per hour. Some guys are running faster than that. At my pace, it's roughly 1 round every 5 seconds, and that to me is plenty 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching 👍👊🇺🇸
So to answer your first question yes I ordered it as a kit. The kit includes the primer feeder and the case feeder, but NO bullet feeder! The bullet feeder was a separate purchase. I first went with what was available and that was the double alpha academy bullet feeder. I now own the Lee Precision bullet feeder which works absolutely phenomenal and costs way less than the DAA bullet feeder. In my opinion buying the Lee Six Pack Pro as a kit is the best option. Thanks for stopping by and posting your comment, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
I was looking for a video like this, having doubts on what first press to purchase; this pretty much sold me the 6000 lol Thanks! ps. what tool is used for de-priming the cases?
You can't go wrong with this press😉👍 ... the 1st station on the press would be where you resize and decap (remove the primer) ... I don't have my press setup to decap on this press because I decap and wet tumble my brass before reloading. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
It's made by Hornady. You can find it on Amazon or any where that sells reloading components ... Hornady AB1 Lock-N-Load Anvil Base Kit,Metal a.co/d/bkAdvpA ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
The most common complaint I've heard from reloading 9mm in a press that rotates the shell holder plate on the downstroke is powder splash. I'm torn between the Lee 6000 progressive and the Hornady LNL AP progressive press. The Hornady rotaes the shell plate 1/2 way on the downstroke and 1/2 way onm the upstroke, thus allowing for smoother shell plate rotation, and therefore less of a chance of powder splashing out of the case during the reload process. I see that your 9mm reloading process is very slow. Is this to prevent powder splash or is there some other reason? Have you ever experienced any powder splash with the LEE 6000? Splashing powder is such a royal pain as it usually requires disassembly of the shell plate assembly to clean up the mess before restarting the reloading process. I would surely appreciate ALL your comments regarding this concern. THANK YOU
In the time since this video was released, my pace has improved dramatically. The slow pace in this video was very intentional. I was still getting used to using the Lee Six Pack Pro. I was taking my time and watching every press operation. This being my 1st progressive press to ensure no mistakes are made 😉. As for powder spillage, it's not been an issue while the press operates at any pace I'm running. I only use 2 powders for 9mm ... Tite Group and Power Pistol, both are very fine powders . With max charge, I don't have any spillage. If I get any powder on my shell plate, it comes from my powder check die insert, and that is very minor, and I've corrected that issue as well. The Lee Six Pack Pro is a great press and makes great ammo. I'm over 3500 completed rounds and have had ZERO problems. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊🇺🇸
Congrats! I have had a Loadmaster for almost 12 years now and the only thing I hate about it is the priming system... you can't ever rely on it working right. That's why I got one of the ACP press.. that thing rocks! So I prime all my brass on it and then l throw them on the 3D printed case feeder for the Loadmaster I did.... also have the 3D printed bullet feeder... I can crank out some ammo at speeds I only had dreamed about.
That is truly Awesome Brother. This is the 1st press I've used that the priming system has been great to use. I think as long as it keeps working well I will continue priming on this press for this caliber. Otherwise I prime all my brass using the Lee Bench Primer or my Frankford Arsenal hand priming tool. Thanks again for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 😉👍🇺🇸
I had all the Lee presses before. The Turret, the Pro1000 and always had problem with the priming system. How reliable is the priming on this one? I can see Lee changed the design a lot from the Pro1000. if its good as it looks here I might pickup one just to speed up loading some other calibers I load more often. Also what powder check die are you using ? Thanks.
The priming system works fantastic. I haven't had a single issue since I started using the press. The powder check die is made by Double Alpha Academy / DAA Magnetic Powder Check Die 2.0 it's a great addition for any progressive press. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 😉👊👍🇺🇸
Running good. I really like this press too. I got mine mounted directly to the bench. I haven’t noticed any flex. I ran about 75 .380 through mine and had to keep an eye on the primers. Failed to prime 3 cases, I guess the primer tray wasn’t jiggling enough. They seemed to bunch up leaving the feed tray and also when there was only a few left the fed arm seemed to bypass them. Also had two primers that seated a little proud. That was probably just me not completely lowering the ram to fully seat them.
I primer all my rifle cases off press. I only started priming on press with my new Lee Six Pack Pro for 9mm. All other calibers pistol or rifle I prime off press. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 🇺🇸
This is a fantastic press and has produced 10,000 plus rounds of 9mm. I've only had to replace a couple of springs, which is to be expected. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
@@JerrBearTacticalI assume you can order a couple springs of there website to stay prepared?? I haven’t opened my box yet so I’m excited. Thanks for the videos.
that's about right, 8 rounds a minute. I ditched the case feeder so I don't have to think about running out of cases, plus increases reliability. Agree the Mr. Bullet dropper is better than Lee's version and the primer feeder seems to work well until you get to the last 10. I also ditched the lee press mount to get rid of flex, I went with an Inline Fabrication. The reduced flex and solid feel was worth the cost. Good machine for the guy that reloads up to about 500 in a single sitting which would be a little more than an hours work.
Hey ! so i have the same press and i dont know if you had this problem i had or maybe you have a solution for it, but my powder measure leaks a bit of powder from small gaps or crevices from the measure itself when it dispenses and small amounts of powder fall ontop of my press or onto my table, any idea how i could get it to stop or fixed?
My good friend has a great video series on the Six Pack Pro. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/group/PLByND7BRp-e2HGsBiWmpMhWvFH8HD7lXU&si=gsCLj1YowP1aM9Fw ... this should be helpful 😉👍🇺🇸
Loaded my first 450 rounds of 9mm today with my new Lee pro 6000 six pack, love it, now waiting for the Double Alpha Mini Mr. BulletFeeder get in stock at Midway.
Thanks Brother, you can find them on eBay or Esty for cheap price. Look up "Lee Case and Bullet feeder clamp" Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 🇺🇸
Excellent video!! Please tell us about the bullet feeder setup! I have two Loadmasters and love them, but they require a little tinkering. I'm very curious about the bullet feeding arrangement you have...
I haven't looked into anything regarding reloading for maybe 5 or 6 years. I'm just now looking into it again and was curious what my Loadmaster was selling for because I don't like it and think I want to sell it. I was happy to see that while I've been out of this hobby, LEE has discontinued the Load-primers upside down & spill powder into the moving parts-Master & replaced it with 2 new presses. Some people love the Loadmaster so I am going to have to sell it to one of those people and get either the 4000 or 6000 LEE press. I still love my LEE 4 hole turret press, but the priming problems with the loadmaster are a deal breaker for me. The 4000 uses the same priming system as the turret press and the 6000's priming system looks like it works perfectly. Making it easy to see if there is a primer being loaded, if it's right side up or upside down.
Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother. The priming system on this press is awesome and works perfectly. Haven't had any issues with it from day 1😉👊🇺🇸
Yes, I could/can ... while making this video with the camera position, it made this a bit challenging. But the normal operation of the press it's quite easy for me to see the powder before the powder check die and after and again before seating a bullet 😉👊🇺🇸
Yes, it did take some time getting it dialed in. I ran dummy rounds until I got it prefect. 130 total and 30 of those were with primers and power. I wanted to make sure I had it all 💯% right. I just mounted it to my Inline Fabrication plate and no more flex😉 ... thanks, Andy, for your support and stopping by and watching 👊 👍🇺🇸
I must be in the minority, but you are running that press at an extremely slow rate. Is there a reason for running the press at such a slow rate? I run my Lee Loadmaster quite a bit quicker. But it would be nice to have a powder checker.
The only reason I ran it slower was to make sure I was giving a good look at how the press operates. The camera location also made it a bit more difficult to run the press comfortably. Better to have slowed the process that to have made any mistakes 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊🇺🇸
The powder cop alerted, and you said you were OK with a grain over setting. How do you not know it's more than a grain over, like a double charge? When that happens, how do I correct the over charge?
I have the DAA powder ckeck die setup to go off at the high limit at 4.1grs of powder. My Lee Autodrum powder measure is set to throw 4.0grs and does so about 95% of the time. The other 5%, it throws 3.9 or 4.1grs and that is acceptable for my pistol rounds. As for any time the alarm sounds, I do a visual inspection of that case to make certain there's no double charge. If a double charge was thrown, it would fill the 9mm case and be spilling out. I'm very confident in my progress. I spent lots of time proofing out my charges, weighing them out, and checking finished rounds by pulling them down and checking powder throws. I'm very confident with the Lee Autodrum powder measure and the setup I'm using 😉. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 👍 🇺🇸
Its good practice to use a powder that gets you over 50% case fill. If it double charges, the power will spill over and the bullet wont seat correctly, if it doest fall of the powder heaped case all together. You'd feel the extra pressure in the lever trying to compress that much powder.
If I calculated it properly, you reloaded at a rate of 400 rounds per hour and you were going somewhat slow. I have used a LoadMaster for about 6 years. For me it has been hard at times to keep running smooth. I am really interested in the new Six Pack Pro. Thanks for the videos on it. Not many people doing video reviews on it.
400 rounds pre-hour is spot on accurate. Once you get dialed in and comfortable with the press, that could bump up to 500 rounds pre hour. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother. This is a fantastic Press and will make a great addition to the reloading bench.😉👊👍🇺🇸
@@JerrBearTactical But what about the time it takes to fill up the bullet feeder tubes, that time also needs to be taken into consideration if you have to calculate the rounds pr hour.. Without a bullet collator I am not really sure you save any time at all with the bullet feeder.. But it seems to be running great.
It only takes 5 minutes or less to reload the bullet feeder, and you can always buy an extra mini bullet feeder tube. 350 to 400 rounds pre hour is very easy to do. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 😉👊👍🇺🇸
@geezerp1982 absolutely, the Lee powder measure is set to drop 4 grains of powder and is spot on accurate for my pistol loads😉👍 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊🇺🇸
Excellent video! I would like to know if a press is really good? Have you ever needed to make any repairs? It is selling here in Brazil and I intend to buy it.
This is an awesome progressive press, and this being my 1st progressive press, I'm totally impressed with how Lee was able to keep the price affordable. I've made 10,000 plus rounds and have only had to replace 1 case feeder spring and 1 primer spring. It's by far the best reloading presses I have for 9mm ammo. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊🍻👍🇺🇸
I believe that with all the extra accessories around $750 ... the press kit was $370 ...www.titanreloading.com/product/lee-six-pack-pro-kit-9mm-luger/ www.titanreloading.com/product/lee-six-pack-pro-kit-9mm-luger/
Picked up my Lee pro 6000 six pack Friday, all setup and start loading 9mm Sunday, I have the Double Alpha Mini Mr. BulletFeeder Kit on order. next will be the AA powder check..
Fantastic👍... this press is becoming very popular. Take your time getting the press dialed in. The key is to get this press to make a consistent round every single time. Have fun and happy reloading, Brother 😉👊👍🇺🇸
Everything you see comes with the kit other than the bullet feeder and powder check die. Those items are bought separately. Thanks for stopping by and watching 😉👊🇺🇸
I have not tried the Soft Twist index Rod. I have well over 6000 rounds of 9mm ran on my Six Pack Pro and have had ZERO issues with my press. It might be something I would try if sent to me, but if it isn't broken, don't fix it 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👍👊🇺🇸
@@JerrBearTacticalagreed! I will be setting up my 6pack pro and this is also my first progressive press.. I hope mine will perform as good as yours. Cheers
I'm having trouble maintaining a consistent seating depth. The seating depth would range sometimes by a couple of hundredths. Any suggestions? I'm using mixed range brass and 115g Accura plated bullets.
Here's a link to a very good friend of mine. Watch his video series on this press, and you should find the answer to your issue. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother Link: ru-vid.com/group/PLByND7BRp-e2HGsBiWmpMhWvFH8HD7lXU&si=KikyXUgKLYuQCMbZ
Dang...im still using the older 1000 series. So be Truthful how many issues did you have before it ran right. From what I've seen almost everyone has had an issue across the board...
This press is the real deal for pistol calibers. The setup was fairly simple, and I chose to take my time getting it set-up and running. I made up 300 dummy rounds before I made any reloaded ammo. I now have over 5000 rounds made. I finally had my first issue just a couple of weeks ago. My case feeder spring finally failed. Other than that, not a single problem with the press from day one !!! Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
I've been using the Lee Pro 1000 for about 2 years and obviously this is an upgrade. I have a bullet feeder on my pro-1000, will that feeder work on the 6000 or do I need to get a new bullet feeder.?
I'm assuming you have one Of the lee bullet feeders that feed the bullet from underneath? No matter what bullet feeder you're using at this point in time on your 1000 it will work on the lee six pack pro. Thanks for stopping by and posting a comment and watching Brother 😉👊👍🇺🇸
.05 grain variance is great. When I'm reloading my 9mm, for example, I'm dropping 4.0 grains of Titegroup, so if most are 4.0 and I get some at 3.9 or 4.1 I'm still very safe for that load. Hope that helps. Sorry for the delay in my response. Happy reloading,Brother 😉👊👍🇺🇸
I didn't ignore the tone. I saw the powder in the cases that gave the warning, and they were good to go. You can't see me looking at those cases in the video. Thanks for your concern, and thanks for watching 👍🇺🇸
It really runs great. I don't like all the flex that the Lee plate has so I just got my Inline Fabrication mount 2 days age and hope that sloves the flex problem 😉👊🇺🇸
Are you having variance in your OAL’s? I bought a Lee breach lock pro when they came out and I have yet to figure out why my OAL’s are all over the place. Not just a few thousands either. Thinking about moving to this press.
So, to answer your OAL question ... yes, there is a variance. It took me some time and a few phone calls with Lee tech support to get this press dialed in. I was seeing seating depths jumping all over the place at first setup of +or- .010, that's not good, IMO. But now I have the dies set-up and working fantastic. +or- .003 and I would have been happy with .005 ... this being a progressive press and the amount of flex the dies are putting on the shell plate, it's never going to be perfect. This being my 1st progressive press, it works amazingly well and I can't expect perfection like I would from my single stage or turret press. If you're looking for that for every round, this might not be the press you're looking for. IMO Lee Precision did a great job with the design and functionality of this press. I'm sure you will like this press if you buy one, is it a Dillon killer NO, but will increase the amount of ammo you can make 😉...thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 👍 🇺🇸
@SM-cg2dc are you having more arguments beside OAL's variance and auto prime feeder to move from Auto Breach Lock Pro - I am between these two presses.
Resetting your dies with a full shell plate. When your shell plate is full at each station, check and make sure your resizing die is touching the plate. Same thing with your crimp die. Don't index the press while doing your check. This is easier done with dummy rounds. I will be making a video on this and uploading it soon, so stay tuned 😉 If you haven't done so already subscribed to my channel and turn on the bell notifications. That way you will get any updated videos that I post. My apologies for not answering your question sooner.
Can you tell us which alarm systems you’re running? I guess just the powder alarm but, are all from AA? I’ve had an old lee and sold it. Looks like they worked out the kinks. Looks to be running smooth. About as fast as my Hornady LNL. Excellent vid. I know you put a lot of time into adjusting this, it runs like a champ!
The powder check die is made by Double Alpha Academy. It works amazingly well and has both visual and audio alarms. I have a video coming out very soon talking about how it works and setting it up on the press. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 I truly appreciate it 😉 👍🇺🇸
Thanks, I’m using the Hornady LNL system. It’s awesome but only 5 stations. I’m saving for the X-10 but I’m not sure what to do yet. Been reloading for 3 years now. My old lee progressive was the 4000 and it was awful.
@jamesrobertson6255 I'm also saving for the Frankford Arsenal X10 it was the press I really wanted, but at the time, the Six Pack PRO came into stock, I received the notification and snatched it up the week before Black Friday 2022. If you are considering the X10 I would wait and go with that. That X10 is my dream 😍 press😉👊👍🇺🇸
Question, when the case goes to station two for powder, is the primer already set in the case before reaching the powder station? I have a loadmaster and have always place the powder station on station three and not at station two because the primer is seated into the case in station two on the downstroke. I followed the setup for the loadmaster and felt the instructions were based on the possibility of an accidental primer firing during the loadmaster's progressive reloading.
Yes, the primer is fully seated before it makes its way up to receive the case mouth flare and powder charge😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👍👊🇺🇸
DAA Magnetic Powder Check 2.0 ... it works amazingly well 😉👍 ... for pistol reloads only. Will not work for reloading rifle calibers. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
Nicely done... Looks like a great little machine... How is the plate wobble or flex ? I know some turrets has the wobble in them when they are going.... I would get a light for that too.. Thanks for sharing JerrBear
Thanks Brother 😉 ... the shell plate has a lot of flex but if you get the dies setup right that goes away. I have a press light on the press and just got a new one for it today, video is coming out this weekend. Thanks again for stopping by and watching Brother 😉👊👍🇺🇸
They may have finally made a decent progressive press. If the priming system works as shown and continues to work then comparing the 400 dollar price compared to a Dillon or Hornady it looks like a good deal
This press has really been impressive and is the real deal. The priming system is very thorough out, and I see no reason at this point to be worried. Only time will tell if any issues arise. For now, it's making 9mm ammo😉👊👍🇺🇸
I totally understand 😉 ... this is my 1st progressive press, and I'm very happy with the addition to my reloading bench. I'll give it 6 months or so, and by then get the press I really wanted the X10 by Frankford Arsenal 👊🇺🇸 happy reloading Brother 😉👍
Yes, it does ... all my cases get deprimed before coming to the press. I wet tumble my brass before reloading my ammo 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊🇺🇸
Don't know ... never had a Load Master🤣🤣 ... in all honesty I have nothing to compare it to. But I have seen plenty of videos on the load master and people do really like that press. I can tell you this thing for sure the Lee Six Pack Pro is the real deal ... thanks for stopping by, Brother 👊🇺🇸

Stations one through six ... 1- deprime and resize. 2- prime, flare, and drop powder. 3- powder check. 4- bullet feeder. 5- seating of bullet. 6- crimp ... 9mm round completed 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 👊🇺🇸
2nd station pressing forward on the press handle seats the primer, then cycle the handle down to add the case flair and drops the powder 😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother
@@keefe007 It has 6 stations instead of 4. For me that is decap/size, prime and powder, powder check, bullet drop/seat and crimp. The primary thing I wanted though over the 4000 was a station for the powder check (cop). In addition after buying the 6000 is the primer mechanism. It is light years better than the cloogy 4000 (which I don't think anyone actually uses because it is so bad). I can actually go from cleaned cases to finished cartridges.
No, none ... but when I first started using it, I had powder that would stick to the powder check insert and shorten the case charge a few grains. I fixed that problem with some 800 grit sandpaper and powdered graphite😉 ... thanks for stopping by and watching 👊🇺🇸
There is no reason for cam-over on this press if you get your resizing die set-up correctly. You get a full length resize. The last station is set-up with the Lee Factory crimp die and every finished round is perfect. Checked every round with case gauge, and they are ready to hit the range 😉. Thanks for stopping by and watching Brother 👊 👍 🇺🇸
There's a lot going on with these press just like any progressive press. It's not about how fast you can run it. I run it at a comfortable pace to make sure that everything is good and safe 😉👊🇺🇸
too bad the initial cost of setting up loading station with all the tools needed including primers, bullets and powder and tumblers and other stuff, even the least expensive most basic loaders add up to at leat 1000. if you want to reload several calibers then it's even heigher. unless you're a person that shoots at least two thousand rounds a month or more then it makes sense to have it despite the cost.
For pistol ammunition just to go shoot, probably. There are other use cases where rolling your own makes more sense. For example, loading to a specific power factor for competition, loading ammunition that is less common and therefore reasonably expensive, loading to tailor a round to a specific firearm (ie, subsonic ammunition that functions the suppressed firearm without excessive gas or bolt/slide speed , etc.) It's also kind of it's own fun. Finding deals on projectiles and components and creating loads very specific to a task are almost hobbies in their own right.
I have one of these. I wanted "One press to rule them all!" I.E. do everything from 9mm to 30-06. Breaks my heart to write this. When loading .308, station one likes to leave the shell in the die and tear off only 2 bits of brass. I don't think it is seating all the way in the plate. I gave up and pulled the die loading only decapped pre-sized brass. That little grey plastic ring thing? A. makes partial through shell removal (weight check or other problems) VERY difficult or impossible. B. pops partially out and screws things up. It would have been really nice if Lee had made the plate carrier and the plate actually FIT each other. The primer pin is only one diameter, small, so it dents and distorts the large primers. My press came damaged in shipping the 2 long cast extensions were bent (shell and primer feeds). LEE WAS GREAT ABOUT GETTING THE REPLACMENT PART FAST AND FREE!! Replacement zinc shell plate holders to not come with the screw holders threaded. So if you need one make sure to use either self tapping screws or tap the screw hold first otherwise, the screws can snap upon first installation. I would NOT recommend this press, at least not for any rifle ammo. I would avoid buying this press for anything, except (perhaps) pistol ammo. added on edit: March 2024. Getting better and more confident at 9mm .45 and .38. GREAT, for pistols
Hello Chris, I'm really sorry to hear that you are having problems with your Six Pack Pro. I have seen and watched mean videos on this press from others reloading rifle calibers and having great success. That's not to say I don't disagree with you on using this press for reloading rifle calibers. I personally think you are correct to some extent. I know that it's frustrating when problems arise. I would highly recommend that you give Lee Precision a call and talk to tech support. You will be truly surprised how much help they can offer in getting your issues with the press resolved. I have spent many phone calls with Lee tech support, and they always seem to have the ability to help work thur any problems. For me, the only calibers I use my press for are pistol calibers, and it has been amazing 😉. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your experience, and I hope you get a resolution from Lee. Good luck, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
@@JerrBearTactical Lee was great in sending the replacement part mentioned. I will/have added that to the comment. added on edit: Mar 3 2024. This is why I included all the details that I did. Just complaining without details or suggestions is not productive,
I'll mention that the priming system doesnt work THAT great. I had issues with it which got worse when I didnt notice that I'd dropped powder into it because I missed a primer...dont ask me how, I dont know. Note: for me, it is better to separate expansion and powder drop. A powder-thru expander made it harder to catch a primer mishap, and thats the station I needed to run it in. i separated those and went with the taper crimp in the seater die rather than the lee factory crimp to save stations. Now it's resize, prime & expand, drop, check, bullet feed, seat & crimp to use all 6. Much cleaner, imo.
I have not had any issues with the priming system on my press. I can tell you this much. I've got 4200 rounds completed and counting without a single issue ... Now that's not to say that I haven't made some impmovements. Lee precision has some new upgraded parts that I had to get for my press. My press was made pre black friday of 2022. I did change up and run that same exact setup you are running just to try that setup to see if it was any better. The funny thing is after making a 1000 plus rounds having it set up originally like Lee intended. That's what I liked, and that's what I went back to and I haven't looked back since. The bottom line is as long as you're getting out of it what you want that's all that matters😉 ... It sounds to me that you are on the right path reloading with your press👊 ... thanks for stopping by and posting your comment, Brother 👍 Happy reloading 😉👊🇺🇸
Yes, I am. I have 2 different ones I use. The one in this video is made by double alpha academy. And then I just picked up a couple of months back the new lee precision bullet feeder. Thanks for stopping by and watching, Brother 😉👊🇺🇸
For all my chambers, 1.150 +- .005 is perfect for 124gr. RN bullet. 1.169 is max, some bullets can be seated as low as 1.050 for 9mm. Always reference bullet manufacturers seating depths and or your reloading manual.
@@JerrBearTactical can i ask yo a newbe reloading question? other then the raw materials themselves, what else do i need to start reloading? if i buy pre-washed brass, can i just lightly lube it, and throw it into the press? or?
