Lanier is improving every time I see him, totally unrelated to LZJ performance, which could have been better but still a lot of good rallies and impressive points by Lanier. Hope Lanier keeps it up!
Wanna know why there are lots of Malaysian annoyed on LZJ? This is the reason. There are literally lots of games where he really looks like he does not even care. We know that LZJ absolutely favourite in this kind of match but when he doesn't like it, he straight up does this move. There is literally no valid reason for someone who is in form just win an Olympic medal to shit his bed on his first game on the next tournament to a player far below his ranking (Lanier is an admirable player but come on, ranks exist for a reason). Remember... Annoyed =/= Hate. As a Malaysian, we still support him... but holy hell, how annoying he can be sometimes. And what excuses are you gonna give him? Fatigue? - Just pull out brother. Both Axelsen and Vitidsarn pull out entirely. No one will be mad at you if you do the same (but you're not).

Kalau dia konsisten at least semi atau final walaupun tak menang, takdelah menyampah sangat. Aaron Chia dan Soh Wooi Yik pun biasa kalah awal tapi dengan pair lawan yang sama dekat ranking dengan dia, bukan dengan lawan yang 25 ke bawah dari ranking dia. Aku tak pernah nak kritik regu ni berbanding LZJ. Lagi satu, tak bermakna kalau kau sokong, kau iyakan je semua yang dia buat. Boleh kritik, maki jangan. Ada aku maki dalam komen aku tu? Tak ada kan. In my opinion the top ranking players did underestimate Lanier. I see LZJ is more explosive than he is now.😢 But he has adjusted an important part, the rally and calmness ❤. Its a good start❤. Anyway Lanier also did a good Job, he deserves it though 🎉.

Menurut saya kekalahan lee ini di sebabkan karena trauma yang cukup dalam dan berat, soalnya kan dia sejak 2022 sampai 2024 ini selalu kalah di babak awal jepang open, mungkin dia agak takut bermain di jepang karena hal itu tadi, bahkan di 2023 di kumamoto masters dia juga kalah di babak awal, dan jika di hitung ini sudah yang ke empat kalinya dia kalah di babak awal di turnamen yang di selenggarakan di jepang.

Then he went to do a catwalk show and hung out with the models drinking and dancing till wee hours having a good time. So he is exhausted physically, adding the sprain he suffered from wearing the bronze medal that is why he was not performing.

If LZJ was not match fit, then don't participate , just like some great player, particularly the Gold and Silver medalist. He paid the price for being over confidence to win the Japan Open without those quality players. Stop giving lame excuses when losing to unknown player. LZJ attitude is very negatif when players able to counter his shots. Add to this his court craft is average and movement In retrieving shorts is very slow.. His coaches are blind and he himself is deaf.. End of the day lzj get what he deserved.. Negative attitude produce negative result..😅😅
Could everyone please stop cyberbully. Why is it that if LZJ lose then everyone starts criticising and throw hate comments on him ? Has LZJ did something wrong to you guys? Are you guys even in his level to comment like this. Even the olympic champion Wang Chi Lin and Lee Yang haven’t won a single tournament after the Tokyo Olympics however nobody criticised them. So just shut up and stop cyberbully. If you guys cant comment something positive then i advice to don’t comment at all.

It's not cyberbullying! We, the Rayat, only felt 'malu' when after losing declared that he lost because he was tired😢. He can always withdraw from the Japan Open like some other great players, particularly the Gold and Silver medalist. There were others who played, and lost but acknowledged that it was not their days and had enjoyed playing with a smile, "Quality of a Great player".
Medium tournament belongs to him. Anyway, i'm just aware that that french guy's age is still greenhorn but he's been so great! So experience is no longer excuse!
