The fact he did this on dark carnival, respect. I played all the l4d2 campaigns on expert difficulty and the one I had most problems with was dark carnival and that was mostly at the where you are trying to enter the stadium and hordes and hordes of zombies keep coming

When he closes the first safehouse door you can see the text chat that says cheats are enabled. He steps in spotter goo no damage. These are straight facts. Not to mention. The run is segmented and not done on one playthrough. Some people don't mind that as much but he is still cheating by using God mode.

For all of the dummies in the comments: - SV_Cheats needs to be set to modify offline match settings in order to kick and prevent teammate bots from spawning - Damage doesn't accumulate until a certain frame of a zombie's attack animation, same goes for the grabs. Therefore you can interrupt a zombie's attack anywhere during that animation before that damage frame and not incur damage. It is not that hard to do. - Audio for falling at a certain height has a lower threshold than the actual fall height required to incur damage. Yes, you can fall and hear the crunch sound despite not being at a height that would cause damage. It happens all the time. - This is a segmented run. He just kept replaying chapters until he finished the campaign without taking damage. - Spitter damage does not occur until a certain a frame after the Spitter's death. So yes, you can appear to walk through the spitter goo and not take damage. Edit: Since this comment blew up. I mostly still stand by what I said, but have edited for clarity's sake. However, this dude has been caught cheating in his other videos lmao. Enjoy the comment thread below lol
Jordan McNamee Zombies need to finish an animation before damage is recieved. If you kill a zombie mid anim they don’t deal damage. This is an intentional feature of the game.

i love how he puts this in the title "Left 4 Dead 2 Solo Realism Expert No Damage (Dark Carnival)" and yet he uses god mode in all his so called no damage videos. 2:01 he gets hits with smoker tongue which literally causes damage, then proceeds to get hit 2 times by 2 different zombies 2:04. gets hit many times by the female zombie to his right side at 3:01, jokey jumps at his face but somehow magically bounces back instead of insta hoping on his back, gets hit by the female zombie at 3:10 with a clear hit, gets hit by male zombie at 3:12 on his face, walks on spitter's spit at 3:45 which would literally the moment he stepped on it he would immediately start taking damage at 3:45, etc. Also, check at 2:15. you can see the console commands on the bottom left side. everybody that uses console commands on left 4 dead knows what that is. lol. he gets hit so many times in the video that would literally make this "no damage challenge" useless. also, there are many proofs he cheats but hey, if his fanboys wanna deny that so be it. also, found videos of actual valve console showing god mode in his left 4 dead 2 speedrun no damage videos. let's also not forget something important in this game. the moment you crowded, the zombies become like an invisible wall, making you move very slow. don't believe me ? go play it and see for yourself.

I literally watched at least 6 videos of his so called no damage and in all of those videos you can clearly see he gets crowded and takes damage by multiple zombies and somehow his health never drops and there are moments he doesn't even see the zombies near him hitting him and only then he realizes and plays it off like he managed to hit them before they hit him. And his play is very slow which only continues to prove how in the world it's a no damage challenge but he takes damage. Again, the left4dead continue doesn't like him and they all know he cheats.
He didn't outrun her, did you know that the Witch's pathfindinding is bad? She stopped chasing him at 6:28, you can hear her sounds changing from screaming/shrieking to scared/horrified. The Witch went in the 'retreat' mode because he was on the trail, which is a buggy place for the Witch to chase you, so she got confused.
She didn’t chase him all the way because it’s realism, witches can’t beat down a foot on realism, they swing at the doors but don’t have the dmg to knock it down. It also deals dmg to everything around her per swing so the commons weren’t getting the door knocked down.
7:44 No bile jar Next level starts and suddenly he has a bile jar, also the incap health bar doesn’t show for the few frames it should if he died when he spawns in, meaning he spliced this run. Also if you look VERY closely at the far left of the screen at 11:00, you see he literally enabled god mode with sv cheats. He cheated and spliced this run and everyone thinks it’s real. Please people, look at the damn facts.

He never said it wasn't a single segment either. He also edited out saferoom loading and credits. Not being honest isn't much better than outright lying.
As a 10-year-experience l4d2 player, I say he clearly cheated. Hunter behaviour is not default (not attempting to melee), some hitboxes are not default (for example, zombie hits him and still misses even though it was a clear hit), stuff like that. Game was modofied in some way.

I think the best part about this is that this isn’t a speedrun. This is a segmented no damage run, which is why his position, guns, and inventory change between load screens
The shooting skills, techniques and strategies are great, but this smells like a mod. Dark Carnival is ridiculously zombie infested and some parts feel really weird with the absence of any infected or hordes
I'm almost 100% convinced that damage is turned off, jumped off a ledge and hearing the leg break sound should do atleast 1-5 damage to the character and even walking through spitter goo when you kill one should hurt for a second.
7:24 I find it very hard to believe he doesn't get hit here. Are we legit? Because that seemed very strange to me. 7:51 hard cut, now has a different weapon and a bile jar. The weapon swap would make sense, but there is never bile jars in that room. To my surprise, people more knowing than me have called out the blatant use of sv_cheats and segmenting the run.
Those aren’t teammates. For some reason when you kick your survivors, the huds no longer show and I’m assuming that special infected have huds of their own too that hide behind the survivor huds, kinda like versus where as infected you see their health etc. In L4D2, there can only be a maximum of 3 special infected at once (except in scripted / mutation situations) and so we can see currently as of then a boomer and Hunter were on the map, that doesn’t prove the fact that there are teammates but it doesn’t objectify the fact that there was a potential sabotage within the run via sv_cheats 1. I do not watch this dude a lot so I have no idea, but cheats or not I don’t wanna get involved, just wanted to point out the visual bug.

When he previously had a auto shotgun 4:44 here he had a bile bomb, and then it dissapeard. (if he responds with toxic words, it will be some good shit to show to gabe newell)

I remember six years ago I was playing one of the carnival games it was the one where you had to shoot the ducks since I was 9 or 10 I could not hit for nothing so soon I brought the pipe grenade but my older brother said hey that's cheating and I said I don't care once I threw it a seconds later a charger came out of nowhere and started to pound me and my brother started laughing that memory will stay with me til the day I die and I'm not lying this is a true story
I'm a bit confused about 1:33 where it made the fall damage sound yet you took no damage, is that a glitch in the game or something because usually that sound effect happens whenever you take fall damage.
