Hi, I failed my road test due to a left turn which is a bit similar to your situation in this video. When I was gonna turn left, I was rolling to the stop line and the green light on my way was around 1 sec left at this time (I can see the counter for the crosswalk). I passed the stop line and entered into the crosswalk. At this time, the light has changed from yellow to red, which means the light turned from green to yellow and then to red during the process that I rolled into the crosswalk. But, my front tires haven't passed the front line of the crosswalk when the traffic light turned red. At that moment, the pedestrians were ready to walk across the crosswalk but they were still on the island. The oncoming cars all stopped completely, so I made the left turn smoothly. But, my examiner failed me due to my maneuver and he told me that I was not in the intersection, so I couldn't do the left turn when the light is red -- this actually makes sense to me now. But, in my case, if I don't do the left turn and remain the position on the crosswalk, I would block the pedestrians to get across, which is also a failed maneuver. I'm confused about how to deal with this particular situation. Any answer would be sincerely apprecaited.
