Not so fun fact: cats are the #1 domestic host for rabies. If your cat is roaming unsupervised it is not only at risk of getting rabies but also spreading it. This INCLUDES in the UK, cats can, have, and will hunt bats, which are the primary host of rabies in the UK. Cats do not know to avoid the bats like humans do, they are far more susceptible to getting and spreading rabies.
!!! generally letting your cats roam free is unsafe for them and other animals and bad for the environment. the most responsible thing to do is to keep your cats inside and take them to the vet to get vaccinated regularly.
And friendly reminder that as soon as you start showing symptoms for rabies, mortality is almost 100%. So if you even suspect your animal or you has been bitten by something with rabies, get that vaccine! Better safe then sorry!

When they got home the neighbor (who owned the cat) actively tried to sue them for "trapping" the cat in their yard "on purpose"....

Went to the doctor and she said she’d put in a referral to a gender clinic so I can hopefully start T before I turn 18 (idk if my parents will stop me or not since I’ll be 18 pretty soon) but the nurse kind of sucked she took so long to take my blood pressure that my hand was tingling and red and she didn’t listen to me when I asked her to stop my mom had to tell her to :/ also had to get two shots which wasn’t fun, but hopefully the gender clinic will be good

I have a question surrounding ai as a use of sound. Like for lyric writers who can’t afford to pay singers or don’t want to have someone else singing their song. Like similar to the whole miku franchise and things like that. It’s a sound to help people get their lyrics across. I’m pretty sure she’s not even described as ai, but more as a keyboard to put lyrics together in a vocal way. What’s peoples opinions on it? The writing of songs using a human brain, but having ai sing it instead of them? I don’t think it’s bad, but I could be biased since I am a fan of vocaloid and I like their songs and the meanings behind them. Although, does vocaloid count as ai since it’s more voice recording like Google translate?

7:52 AuDHD here, I think having multiple routines to choose from and switch between really helps, along with getting the right amount of sleep (minimum 7 hrs), and having things to do and to regulate you throughout the day. Personally alarms that just tell me what time it is throughout the day often help. It's a no pressure alarm, not telling me to do something, just to keep me aware of time.

y'all, i am so proud of myself for what i did today!! ok ok ok, so! i was getting to my 3rd period class and when i got there the seats were all rearranged. i already hated this but it's whatever, we have assigned seats so i'll just look for my number! i go to my numbered seat and someone is sitting in it. apparently, there wasn't any assigned seats and we were supposed to sit wherever. this is worse but i'll just go sit in my preferred seat in the classroom... someone was already sitting there too so now i'm full on panicking because i have no idea where to sit. i was planning on just doing some notes but this has completely thrown me off! most of the class was seated and the bell had rung so i just sat in a random seat. at this point i am almost crying because i'm in a terrible seat with my back exposed and next to someone i don't know and we're supposed to be taking notes but i cannot for the LIFE of me focus (dw, this is the good part) some context: i wear a necklace that has a locket on it that's actually a clock. i needed to find a way to calm myself down so i held my watch up to my ear and just listened to the ticking. and what do you know, it worked! i just sat there for a few minutes, focusing on the ticking and trying to keep the rhythm. in the end, i didn't cry! i got myself to calm down and try to find a way of dealing with the situation i decided to ask my teacher to tell me the next times the seating was gonna be changed so i could know and not be surprised. it took me the whole period to hype myself up to do it, but i did at the end of class!!!! she told me that the seating always changes before and after tests, so that's the pattern for seating. THEN she offered to give me an assigned seat that i can sit in!! i ended up with the best seat in the class (imo), back corner with my back safely against a wall and still a clear sight of the board!! tl;dr: i panicked over seating, calmed myself down before i had a shutdown, asked for accommodation with seating arrangements from my teacher, and got a lot better than i asked for! turns out, people will actually help you if you ask! i would have never thought that in a million years/j

1) today when we had mac and cheese ^_^ 2) we got gas station pizza and honey taffy and designed our fantroll :3 3) COLD. flavored is ok too but cold and plain tap water is always good 4) we dont practice anything specific, but we believe that the afterlife and reincarnation are real, and that ppl can Choose to be rebirthed. if they jst wanna stay in the afterlife until they're ready or forever, that's cool, they can go do that. we also believe that everyone has a soul, and it is a ball of light unseen by humans located in the heart. souls can move to their new heart if a person gets a transplant. we are of the belief that there are gods, and that they do care about those who worship them. it is up to their disciples to make a good impression on others. hell and heaven exist to us and there is no specific rule to get in either. however, people can be doomed to burn in the fires of pandemonium. these people, no matter how much they beg to be sent to heaven, will never go there. - ♑️🍟/gamzee makara ^_^
Answering my own questions because yeah 1) Uhm,,, probably like 3 days ago? Ngl I kind of just rotate between eating rice and pasta, but lately I've had more rice. Fun fact dingoes are not all orangey brown- they come in a variety of colours! However often non-traditional dingo colours will be described as wild dogs and therefore will be less protected by laws… this is an intentional design because dingoes can attack livestock and politicians have financial incentive to reduce dingo populations. In reality, Australia has basically no wild dogs- none will survive for long in the wild, nor reproduce, so all the ‘wild dogs’ are just dingoes (or possibly hybrids, though most hybrids have over 80% dingo dna, so it doesn’t really make a difference). If you see a wild dog, it’s a dingo, so use common sense and don’t try to say hi- dingoes are possible to domesticate, but you probably don’t know how, and you probably shouldn’t try, unless you’re indigenous and your family has been domesticating dingoes for Millenia

There’s been like a few people to actually survive rabies. I’ve heard of one. They put her in a coma and let her body fight off the rabies. I think they tried this with 12 other people and she was the only one to survive.

so i’m out at the place i do theater at, which is really nice, and i’m glad, especially since i’m closeted at home. however, the problem is that the director and the other people in charge are still friendly with my mom, and they invite her to stuff and chitchat with her, and everything, so every time she comes, i have to make sure to tell everyone there to deadname and misgender me. and it’s just so frustrating having her intrude on my safe space, and having it be because my directors are allowing her to. i know i can’t stop them from being friendly with my mom, and it’s not really my right to, but it just gets upsetting every time they tell her she’s welcome there any time, because it’s like??? no??? this is my space, not hers, and if she’s welcome any time, that increases the odds that i could accidentally get outed.

Why do we say "all cops are bad" when realistically it's pretty much impossible for EVERY SINGLE COP EVER to be "bad". I understand systematic oppression and discrimination and we need to speak out about that, and STOP IT, but it's not fair to blame a person in a particular group for something that they might not have personally done, even if the other 99.9% of the group has done it. And even if every single cop ever has done at least one thing that was objectively a bad decision, some people just don't know better. This isn't supposed to be a "gotcha" or out of malicious intent either, I just don't understand. Please, feel free to enlighten me.
ACAB actually stands for "all cops are BASTARDS," as in they're bastardised by the system. A person might wanna be a cop to protect and serve the community, but the police system is inherently designed to oppress and discriminate :/
While some people’s intentions may be good, when they join an institution like the police force, they are contributing to the system. They train to be a part of the system and the system seeks out those who are more likely to conform to the system. Now, that doesn’t mean that they are automatically awful people, but once they put on that uniform, they become a part of that system again. Also, I think there is the issue of association. If you are willingly associating (as a cop) with other cops, there is basically a guarantee one of them is morally gray. Let’s say somebody hangs out with a serial burglar, and they know their friend is a thief. You aren’t going to hang out with them because they are associated with and enabling a criminal. It’s the same with cops. Also, to your point of “maybe they are just ignorant”. Ignorance isn’t an excuse in my opinion. It is up to you to educate yourself.

Basically all the parents traps you can get, because they are based on the German Author Erich Kästner, whoms books were burned during WW2 other adaptions and books you may find or don't also w/could include Emil and The Detectives The flying Classroom Obviously there made for Kids but hey maybe you need something to watch with your little Sibs?
